This was a very nice stay with an excellent cleaning staff and a customer service phone staff that helped me get checked in.
Checking in was a horror story as I do not have a smart phone and did not have internet available as I was travelling. NO WHERE in the emails I received at home indicated that I needed a smart phone to check-in. The reservation was made and paid in full (for a stay on 11 May 2026) in Dec 2025.
The property was spectacular in every way, but the check in experience makes it highly unlikely I would stay at Jaxon again. Luckily Achillia the housekeeper was still there and helped her also.

Rooms were very nice and quaint. Staff is helpful. There is limited parking, so I suggest paying the extra 12 dollars and get the reserved space. O erall good experience.

No comment on staff as it is a self check in hotel, but this is overall a very great place to stay if you are just looking for a place to sleep and not spend a lot of money. The place is very clean and the rooms are very nice and comfortable.

Stunning property inside and out. The outside is well manucured and pristine. The inside is newly renovated with style and character and extremely clean with amenities including bottled water, shower gel, shampoo/conditioner in shower and brand new kitchen appliances, dishes.

I never made it inside 😩 first of all there were drug dealers and crack heads all around 😳 then I had so much trouble with the contactless process to get in the room and calling the manager for help was no help I explained to her the link was was not allowing me to add a picture ID I even gave her a middle ground and offered to send the picture to her and that wasn't good enough for her either I just wanted to lay my head down after a long travel I payed the deposit n the room fee and I have yet to get my deposit back I even told her I don't care about the room fee since I can only get back the deposit I ended up getting a lift down town it was contactless also but with less hassle 😅 😴💤 fyi still waiting on my Refund

I loved the place and was thinking of staying there more often because it is convenient for me. I was extremely disappointed that upon check out i was charged $30 from my security deposit because the towel was stained ( from washing my red hair and they told me the towel was damaged beyond recovery) this is the first time a hotel has ever done this . Dont think i will stay there again

Early check in isn’t early check in it’s maybe an hour or two before normal check in and you have to pay for it ,we also waited right outside of the room for hours and it was clean and ready but they made us wait till the check in time saying it wasn’t ready there is no garden or waiting area like it say. It’s broken down furniture and not on a great street either so sitting outside isn’t ideal. The inside of the two bedroom family suite is not bad the bedrooms are small but they have a nice kitchen area and big bathroom that’s about the only nice thing at this place.

It was a nice room for 2. Very close to everything. The room had a good size fridge to bring some snacks for your trip. I stayed 3 days with mom and got her some milk for the coffee and then I found out the room provide these items for us. Coffee, cream sugar. Even 2 bottles of nice cold water were waiting for us upon arriving. Very thoughtful. Thank you. The only thing I would say is the room could be upgraded with a small table and chair to sit down and eat.

My stay at the Jaxon was pleasant and so comfortable. Upon arrival (I arrived at night) the air conditioning and bedside light were already on, which I appreciated. The tv was also on a relaxing music station. After a long day of travel this meant a lot. The room was cozy, the decor was beautifully modern, the bed was so comfortable. The room had everything I needed. Towels, bathroom toiletries, coffee maker, microwave, iron, dishes, utensils, full size refrigerator, and kitchen sink. The area was very quiet during the night. I enjoyed my stay and will definitely return.

The room was spotless! Included WiFi, a flatscreen TV, complimentary water and a really comfortable bed. The air conditioning worked all throughout my stay. All appliances worked as they should. The room itself was very cute, modern and minimalist. Housekeeping staff were friendly. My only complaint really is the blinds. It would be nice to have some type of window curtains installed. Light shines through, even at night when cars pull in with their headlights on.

Not many amenities. Not having someone on site was a pain! Responses can take time to get back and if they don't respond and you end up calling they make it like it's your fault. Also 30.00 for early check-in seemed like a cash grab to me, my room was done but in order to get in I had to pay that up front before my door code worked! Overall once in the room (which is VERY small) it was nice room. I did end up going out both in the day and at night and will say the neighborhood at night is very sketchy and there were at least 10 coo cars at gas station down road!!! So if you can find a better place I'd go there instead, but for what it was, it wasn't the worst I've dealt with but certainly not the best either! I'd stay here again IF there was nothing better in vicinity!!!

Very small room but immaculate, appeared to be essentially all new inside - surprisingly, refrigerator, microwave high end appliances. Comfortable bed but very small room. My biggest issue was no chair or table for computer use. No on-site staff. Remote check-in a pain, only lets you in at EXACTLY 4PM. Door lock battery was replaced, locking me out, required a call and getting a housekeeper to get me a real key. Limited parking - not enough spaces to accommodate full occupancy. Other than the two noted issues, property a good value.

Did a lot of traveling around every day for 6 days this trip, this was the only spot we stayed for more than 1 night. Glad that was the case. Nice to have an actual kitchen and two bathrooms. Will use again if in the Palm Beach or Riviera Beach area within the next few years.

The air conditioning unit was very efficient and quiet. It was so convenient to have a Keurig, refrigerator and small microwave in the room as well as your basic cutlery and dishes.
I would suggest the tiniest improvements to make the room even better… A small clothes rack or more hooks to hang a few things, and a small table with a chair would have made this room an 11/10. However, I feel this stay was fantastic for the price point and would definitely stay here again.

This location is not in the best part of town. A lot of traffic noise and police sirens all night. Also, you should know there is no door on the bedroom just in case you’re anticipating privacy. We had to call to have a trash can and bedding brought to our room and it took a few hours. Parking is extremely limited. There were multiple times we could not find a parking spot when returning to our room at the end of the day and there is no overflow parking.

When we arrived, we saw the cleaning staff doing their thing and it seemed to be very thorough--so cleanliness gets high remarks. The biggest issue I had is that there is no front desk staff or lobby so there is absolutely no where to leave your bags. Even at 2 start motels, you can generally drop your bags off so you can move about the city with comfort. The code for your door is activated at 4pm exactly so unless you opt to pay $30, there is no such thing as early check-in. Again, I wish I knew all these details before booking. For $250 a night, I believe another hotel would have been open to early check in with no fee or at the very least, let you leave your bags in a secure location. We didn't use the kitchenette but all things seemed to be in working order which is convenient for people who have a need for a fridge, coffee machine, etc. The area was fine--I saw some review that shady characters hung around the area but I did not see any of that. We used Uber to get around to Northwood (very cute area with shops and restaurants) and Downtown.

But I agree with the other reviews there are serious security issues staying at this hotel. I was arriving very late due to the TSA shutdown my flight was delayed. You can not reach the hotel directly. I was advised there is no front desk or security at this hotel. Someone called me from a Google IP number. She was asking for additional fees. The caller ID said \"Spam\". I ask her for the direct hotel number so I could call back. There was a long pause. She said she was on her computer not at the hotel. She hesitated with the hotel number and could not answer basic questions like how far the hotel was from downtown.

We arrived late in the evening and stayed for one night. Host was responsive and accommodating. The rooms were clean, we enjoyed the kitchen and living area as well. Walls are thin so we could hear everything and since it is close to the road there is a traffic noise. We think it was a good value and we would stay again.

The staff is very helpful and responsive. Make sure you either have a car or plan on using Uber, since most places are about two miles away. If possible, try to stay on the Broadway side, as some of the side streets seem a bit sketchy. Also, some websites say you only need to be 18 to check in, but the hotel’s website states the minimum check-in age is 21, so keep that in mind.

The location of this renewed building was not the best however, it is very recently renovated, everything very clean, the \"concierge\" whom answered the phone was awesom6e. They do have cameras outside to watch you get into your room and overall it was a fine place to stay overnight. Just remember you do have to take an Uber to the airport. I believe this is the future of hotels and the most inexpensive stay near the airport but don't forget to add in the cost of a \" free shuttle \" when comparing prices!
