At check in we were greeted with a smile and attentive receptionist. We were happy to see the room looked exactly as it did online, it was clean and fresh and seemed like the ideal place to spend a few days with it's stocked kitchen. My daughter could not stop asking to go to the pool and it was the perfect size and depth. Sandra, our breakfast host, was amazing at checking in on everyone and making sure the tables were tended to. Thank you Marriott for such great staff and amenities at this location!

Our prepaid room was given away upon arrival and we were sent to a hotel in the polar opposite direction at 1 am. After many phone calls and hours of stress we were able to assure we had a room for the remainder of our stay. The hotel itself is fine, the staff is very polite but the hotel clearly hasn’t been updated or kept up with in many years. All in all would not return but Orlando was very lovely.

I arrived at 9:30 p.m. after a full day of traveling, only to be told that there was no room available. Even though I had a confirmed reservation. The front desk clerk then told me to walk down the street to the Holiday Inn. I asked if he would walk me there so I wasn't a woman walking alone at night, but he would not. This is a terrible way to treat guests. He should have found me another Marriott property to stay at, arranged for my transportation, and honored the same rate. I will be posting negative reviews online about this.

The hotel seemed older but clean. Some minor cosmetic issues only. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lacking variety of hot items. Just eggs, sausage, an eggless sandwich, and pancakes (cold and dry). Didn’t do much in the area. Was in town for the VA hospital. I would stay there again.

My brothers and I take a trip back home to West Palm Beach every year in honor of my Father's passing. This time we decided to stay at the Residence Inn Marriott! Worst decision ever. Upon checking in we were accused by Housekeeping staff for Smoking in our rooms. Why hadn't even put our things down yet. I offered to have her come in and inspect, however she refused. Later that night one of my siblings made an attempt to get some rest, but right before laying down, he discovered a condom on the mattress where he was about to lay down at. Not to mention blood stains were all over the sheets in the other bed. When the front desk was made aware of the issue they stated they would come and replace the mattress, But never came, my brother had to sleep on the floor due to the hotel being full. We will never return to this place again. It was a horrible experience, and a bit distasteful to be considered a Marriott chained Hotel! More like a Motel 6! Don't waste your money people!

There where thousands of what we call “piss ants” all over the room tables bathroom, floors ,couch s , I left after I put my soda down to look around the room, I came over to my soda , it had groups of ants on it, couldn’t have been 2 minutes

The lock to my room door stuck very badly.

The dog barking next door came as a surprise.

This is a 2 star property. Not worthy of a Bonvoy branding.

My wife and I stayed one-night at the hotel. The recepitionist was friendly upon arrival and gave us a smooth checkin experience. The pool was okay. It looked a little dirty with bugs and sticks and all, but it wasn't the worst. The room was homey like a studio apartment.

Breakfast was decent. Pancakes were hard, the scrambled eggs were okay. The pork sausages were the only great thing from the menu.

It was overall a good stay for someone that needs a place to stay whether for work or for an event.

The property itself was clean and staff was friendly. But for breakfast the 3 days I was there, they had run out of eggs, French toast and milk at one point. The chef said she was busy making the food but 30 min later and still no replacement. Coffee was burnt and again no milk or half and half

We booked this hotel with certain expectations, but unfortunately, our experience was far from pleasant.

First, we were told that cribs would be provided, but upon arrival, we were informed that there were none available. After contacting Expedia, they were able to find a “spare” crib, but it was an inconvenience that shouldn’t have happened in the first place.

The parking situation was even worse. There was no available parking when we arrived, as multiple guests had taken up several spots. A truck with a boat occupied 9 spots, and a minivan with a trailer took 5. Despite the hotel being fully booked for the weekend, they allowed these guests to take up 16 spots between them. My husband had to stay in the car until 5:30 a.m. when someone finally left. The front desk staff was unhelpful, and when we asked for a solution, they simply suggested parking in illegal spots—though there were signs everywhere warning us to park at our own risk.

Once we finally made it to our room, the situation didn’t improve. The shower was filthy, with hair left behind from previous guests. To make matters worse, two of the pillows smelled as though they hadn’t been washed before our arrival.

Overall, our stay was frustrating, and we won’t be returning to this hotel in the future. There were too many issues that could have easily been avoided with better communication, management, and cleanliness.

I almost canceled this hotel last minute and went with a different one due to some of the negative reviews I read. I decided to take a chance on it and luckily did not experience the issues others did. The rooms were really nice and clean, yes there were some minor tears/flaws of wallpaper in the kitchen area that I think another person complained of but it really wasn't a big deal. Everything else was in great shape. The kitchen was lacking pots and pans if u needed them but maybe available if you asked? The breakfast was good, a variety of options and one or two of the hot items changed daily. My only suggestion would be to maybe add a pancake station that is available daily as that's my kids go to option that the hotel did not have but they still found things they liked. We were provided with clean towels every few days, garbage changed, beds made which was nice. Also I saw a complaint about noise from animals and traffic of 45th st which we did not experience. It was super quiet. We barely saw anyone in passing unless it was at breakfast. All in all a great stay and I would stay here again. The staff was also so kind.

We were there 8 nights. Hotel policy is to clean the room every 3rd day or on request. They didn’t clean on Day 3. We asked for them to clean on day 4 and day 5. On day 5 we had to take our full garbage pails to the front desk. They finally cleaned on day 6. Disappointing.

On the positive - they do free breakfast and it’s very good. The little lady who runs it is great. Very sweet and a hard worker.

Very nice hotel and Orlando was wonderful and very accommodating. We called and asked if we could have the first available room since we were driving in from out of town to attend a wedding that started at 3 and we needed to get dressed. Orlando made sure we had a room available when we arrived at 1:30. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Definitely recommend.

Room is not clean. Smelled upon entry like mildew. Food smeared on side of fridge and in microwave, hair on bath towel, barely any towels. Bed and couch are hard and have deep depressed areas making it uncomfortable to sit and sleep. Called morning to ask for late check out by 2 hours and told I needed to call the night before. Thet don’t tell you that. Told only for gold members or higher. Even though I am gold guy then tells me I’m too new a member to do it. Between the dirty room, bugs, horrible bed and couch never again. Likely taking my business elsewhere as Marriott’s are so hit and miss across the country it’s unacceptable for what they charge on top of poor customer service this stay. This has done it for me. Too many other options out here for the sane or a few dollars more. Avoid this dump. Other reviewers are either paid lying or have no standards.

Additional charges for parking not clear at all when company credit card was used to pay for the week stay for business travel. These are hidden charges that were charged to my personal credit card instead of prompting at the time of purchase. It’s dishonest and a scam. This should be transparent and included at time of purchase period.

Overall very nice place. My only issue is paying for parking daily. Anyone could park there, no decal or placard given to note we were paying guests (although the hotel information said there would be one.) I resent paying a premium for a room and then tacking on parking fees. I know this is not the only hotel that does this, I still resent it.
