The best moments

We had a truly delightful stay at this exceptional hotel. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the beautifully maintained property, which offers a perfect balance of comfort, style, and relaxation.

The culinary experience exceeded our expectations — every meal was thoughtfully prepared, featuring fresh ingredients and a variety of flavorful options that catered to all tastes. Dining at the hotel was consistently a pleasure.

The staff deserves special mention for their outstanding service. Warm, attentive, and highly professional, every team member contributed to a welcoming and accommodating atmosphere throughout our stay.

The pool area was another highlight —well-designed, and ideal for relaxation. It added significantly to the overall sense of leisure and rejuvenation.

We sincerely appreciated every aspect of our time at this hotel and would enthusiastically recommend it to anyone seeking a high-quality, enjoyable vacation experience.

Just stay away.

Just don’t stay there, horrible hotel in every aspect.
horrible service, even in Israeli standard, old noisy and outdated rooms, bad food, especially in comparison to the options Tel Aviv is offering.
The only reason the current rsting is 8.8 and not 5, is because it used to be a great hotel in the past, and has many past good reviews.
I stayed there many times , and till 2-3 years ago it was great hotel, but now, its unbelievable bad.

For a 1,300 usd room per night, I expected to get it on 15:00 as they obligated to. But it was very astonishing itc was not ready. From that point the entire mood has been destroyed.

Wonderful but no parking

was really wonderful the only down side is that the parking & valet is based on availability, we found ourselves with no parking which is a problem in Tel Aviv.

Just needs a better system for beds at the pool at often blocked by people who not using Them and there is not a lot of beds so you end up in a chair

It’s my second time at the Norman hotel and again- Everything was just perfect. From the very beginning to the end of my stay. Super welcoming and friendly staff. The room was amazing with fresh flowers and lots of light. The bed is super comfy, the room itself is spotless. And the pool... oh the rooftop pool.

Very nice staff. Facilities and restaurants are great. Room very comfortable. 20+ minute walks to a lot of the sights (the beaches, Jaffa, Tel Aviv Museum, etc.), but near Carmel market and taxis are easy to come by. Would definitely stay there again.

Not worth the money, Take guests for granted

Got the impression that the hotel focus on maximizing its income over taking care of its guests. Although we asked for a quiet room, there was a lot of noise coming from a business gathering at the hotel. We had to wait for breakfast because all the tables were already occupied by non residents diners. We had to asked 3 times until we got assistance with locating the taxi driver the hotel booked us to locate an item we forgot in the taxi. Only after check out, the hotel charged my credit card with non consumed items from the mini bar without verifying it with me first. Although the location is great and room was clean and beautiful, I will not come back. Not the service I would expect for the most expensive hotel in the city.

Central location!

The Norman is ideally situated for exploring Tel Aviv. There are great restaurants and cafes nearby, and I loved walking through carmel street market. I found the concierge especially helpful for offering recommendations. My room was comfortable and I liked the wall-mounted buttons for controlling the light schemes and drapes. The Library Bar is funky and has some unique cocktails, though I found the breakfast offering to be a bit more basic.

Better than the norm at The Norman.

The Norman is fantastic. Great location, excellent staff and wonderful breakfasts. The room are lovely but small. The bathrooms are particularly very small. Dinner on the patio was elegant and yummy.

A good stay at The Norman

We had a good stay. Very nicely done rooms. Great breakfast. Great dinner at Dinings one night.

Only quibbles are over the price - it is very expensive - and the fact that it was sometimes hard to get a seat at the pool because people got up early and reserved loungers! I did mention this to the manager, however, and he promised to address this.

In a crowded city this is probably its greatest luxury. Breakfast is divine, bed like landing in a cloud. Room was a bit tinsy but everything else perfect.

Mediocre service awareness, Terrible staff

The hotel staff is terrible, rude and condescending.
We were looking forward to our vacation, to rest and sleep well. Unfortunately, every time we fell asleep the room service made sure to ring the door and wake us up.
Three hours after we received the room, our nap was interrupted by the room service, although the room was cleaned only a few hours earlier and although we did not ask to clean it.
At night we used the \"do not disturb option\" but unfortunately it did not prevent room service from ringing the bell and waking us up at 7 in the morning. Of course we could not go back to sleep.
The whole point of the hotel reservation was missed by an amateur service and a lack of coordination between reception and room service.
There are many good hotels in Tel Aviv, do yourself a favor and skip The Norman Hotel.

Try Hard Hotel

A very impractical room for one persom, let alone 2.
There was no facility / shelves for mens/ womens vanity products in the bathroom, one had to juggle lipstick or shaver.
The shower flooded out onto the bathroom floor every time.
The bathroom only could accommodate 1 single person.
There was only coffee making facility in the room, not tea, it had to be on request.
The room service was the most limited I have seen in 50 countries!
The breakfast was limited & balanced around the dining room bar/shelf.
My breakfast arrived cold & without ordered toast.
The staff did not appear to know what the other staff were doing with little flow or cohesion.
Communication to the Room Setvice waiter was difficult, his english was average & had little knowledge of wines, why then was he taking orders??
Overall, exceedingling disappointing, architectural refurb was pleasing but reminiscent of a rat in a running wheel, there were a myrid ofl stairs & corridors to reach rooms because of the intrinsic design.You had to walk thru tje restaurant to go to the overrated rooftop pool.
Conde naste is my travel bible, did they have blinkers on or get special service or follow the same creed.??to give it high accolades.
A big 3+, no way Boutique , definately an amateur attempt at Hotelery.

Norman wont have any competition in Israel for the next 10 years. The best rooms in Tel Aviv, best staff, best Japanese restaurant, best sake selection in town, best bedding, beautiful grapefruit garden. Very special hotel.

The hotel is beautiful and the food was the best hotel food in Tel Aviv. The room and the bathroom were a bit small and without sufficient room to comfortably accommodate two large suitcases. No views. Staff very accommodating and pleasant. Concierge (Maya) was particularly helpful in recommending, making and following up transportation arrangements to our next stop. Overall, best accommodation in Tel Aviv out of the several we have stayed at over the years.

Losing slightly its status

This is the 4th time I have stayed at the hotel and since it opened there are a few cracks appearing. I had pre arranged check in and this did not run smoothly and also at breakfast when we asked for coffee we were told that it was inside and get it our selves. It would be a shame if this was not dealt with as it is still the best hotel.
Also the pool seating area is too small when the hotel is full.

Please do not let your high standards slip as this is my favourite hotel....

Great city break hotel

This was our 4th stay at the Norman and will not be our last. The staff cannot do enough to help. They are extremely professional and cater for your needs. In no way is this the cheapest 5 star but by far the best.
The only strange thing in the hotel is that they do not serve olives or nuts in the bar. In saying that is that's the worst part of the hotel then it can't be bad.

Absolutely fantastic hotel in a quiet neighborhood

Hotel's in Tel Aviv are often hit and miss. This recently opened hotel is absolutely fantastic. Pay the extra money and get one of the suites... they aren't cheap, but they are absolutely beautiful. Huge, airy, and decorated with upmost taste and attention to detail. You will feel as if you are in a luxury condo, complete with grapefruit trees in the back and kumquats in the front. The library bar, breakfast, and every thing else is fantastic. The Japanese restaurant is still working out some kinks, but outside of that, a great place to stay.

Best Hotel In Tel Aviv

This hotels brings home the wealth that Israel has to offer. The staff quality in care and attention , atmosphere and quality of food was amazing. Fortunate enough to have travelled for both business and pleasure for mots of my life and staying in many nice places, this is one of the top 5.
Keep up the good work all the team at the Norman as this will put pressure on all the other hotels to raise their games to your standard.
