Hugo was awesome, we loved the breakfast and Anwar’s service, thankful for the American plug and nespresso machine in our room. Also, the gentleman that came to fix our shower drain was so friendly and solved our problem quickly! Thankful for the turndown service and how quiet the hotel was. Also, the bartender was willing to customize a cocktail for me. We loved our stay and highly recommend Hotel Vernet!

We were there for just the evening last minute. The staff were incredibly nice and the rooms were very high tech. They had upgraded us to a suite and even provided our dog with a chaise lounge of her own. We definitely will be back.

Upon our arrival, we were informed that our room had been upgraded. However, upon entering the room, we discovered that a beauty salon had rented the adjacent room. To our dismay, starting from 6AM the following morning, we endured continuous noise from drilling and furniture being moved, which made it impossible for us to get any sleep. Furthermore, we encountered a significant inconvenience due to the absence of a ramp or elevator to assist us in carrying our luggage, as there were numerous steps from the street leading up to the lobby.

The rooms are spacious and nice, as well as the proximity to the Champs de Elysse. However, the staff and service quality was inconsistent. One bell staff broke my suitcase handles, on the final day another staff member just entered the room without knocking while my wife was changing and packing and then remained there which made her feel unsafe. He wanted to check the minibar. There was no communication that the breakfast buffet concluded at different times on the weekdays (earlier) vs weekends. During turndown service the housekeeping staff did not bus or clean the used tea. They would not replenish the tea either (we only drink 1-2 cups of tea). The view was horrible as it is a construction zone.

Not a 5 star Hotel

Disappointed in choosing this hotel. It’s overall location was it’s best feature. The street it is on is more of an alley. All type neighboring employees of other businesses use it as their smoke break room. Cigarette butts everywhere plus the building directly across street is under construction. I made the reservation last minute but the room was one first floor directly above entrance and facing the construction site. Asked to move and they did allow an upgrade a bit higher and over but still on top of the construction. Which was told wouldn’t start until 10am but it was about 8am. Small hotel nothing about it was 5 star. We asked for a wine opener but they waited for us to open the bottle and asked for it back as it was the only one in hotel. ?? They need a nice smell in lobby and halls as it smelled like sewer on way to our room. Took the stairs as the only elevator was very small. They overcharged the authorization and then had attitude when I asked for breakdown of bill. I’m sure she felt I was not pleased by that’s not the way to treat a customer despite my dissatisfaction of it not meeting my expectations for a 5 star hotel. Small lobby small check in area nominal “bar” and dining area. Room was ok but very bad use of space. See the odd photo in the tiny water closet. Not sure who would use the spray hose for hygiene it was in a cut out hole in wall and dusty l? Did not bother with the included breakfast. Would love a refund not worth the money.

Incredible all around stay. Combined business trip with family in tow. Room clean and spacious by Paris standards. Terrific, go-out-of-their-way service. Location speaks for itself. Breakfast was top-notch in gorgeous setting. Will be my go-to business or family hotel in Paris from here on out. Kudos to all the staff. (Only wish wi-fi signal would have bit a bit stronger in room, but usable/acceptable.)

The staff at the reception desk were very kind and accommodating. The location is very convenient to the Champs-Elysees and the metro. The room itself was clean and the bathroom (shower and tub area) was lovely. I have two complaints: (1) My reservation with Expedia specified two double beds in the executive suite, but the beds were twin size and hotel staff told me they do not have double beds; (2) I had put receipts and other items from my purse in a paper shopping bag and left it on the desk. Apparently the housekeeping staff threw the bag away, even though it was nowhere near a trash can.

Best place to stay in Paris!

Great location. Beautiful area of Paris all within 100 yards. Smaller hotel (<50 rooms) with excellent staff that take care of you and help in any way you need. Small side street so no traffic concerns, but the Champs Elysees is <60 seconds away and the Arch and Champs are gorgeous at night. Best location in Paris with everything you could need. Staff was extra friendly and always addressed us by name. I could think of nothing that could have ben better.

I am unable to comment on many aspects of this hotel since they transferred me on arrival due to lack of availability of a room . This situation arose because the Hotel management prioritized guests already staying at the hotel who wanted to extend their stay over those such as myself with a confirmed booking. I was informed that they were unable to contact me ahead of time to let me know because they did not have my contact details since I booked via Expedia. The problem with this response was that just the day before my assistant had been in contact by email with the hotel's front desk. I was transferred to a nearby hotel of comparable rating. However I was very unimpressed by this experience.

I had a lovely stay at Vernet Hotel. I was there for a conference and stayed a week. The hotel was newly renovated so the rooms, bathrooms, lobby, and restaurant were all decorated simply and elegantly. The staff were warm, helpful, and welcoming. The beds were extremely comfortable and I could see the Eiffel Tower from my 7th floor room. The location was ideal as you turn one corner and you are at the Arc de Triomphe and Champs-Elysees, and close to the metro. I would recommend this hotel for singles, couples, and professionals.

Wonderful hotel in perfect location

We loved staying here and would definitely come again. The location was perfect. Right off of the Champs-Elysees and a quick walk to the Charles de Gaulle Metro entrance by the Arc de Triomphe for very convenient access to any location in Paris. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful and spoke English. There were USB ports for charging our phones in the room and also a hair dryer and a Nespresso machine. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel.

The restaurant is also a nice table and waiters are always smiling.
The rooms are a litte small but comfortable.
The noise of some rooms on the street side is a negative point , as you hear the night and fron 5h in the morning high noise.

Bathrooms have no locks & see through places in door - very awkward if you have guests in the room. Rooms are quite tired looking & apart from the bell boy who was very helpful with the bags & even did the concierge's job by recommending best places to go & directions etc as well as the lovely housekeeping lady who takes extra care & basically 'polishes' your room clean the reception staff & concierge werent helpful at all, arrogant, full of negative attitude and couldnt care less about making our stay comfortable. Must add - this is basically a clean, well located 4 star hotel not 5.

Fantastic boutique style hotel

Though only a block away from Champs de lysse the street was so quiet and yet close to arc de triumph and other attractions. Service was superb. Hotel clean. Modernized but kept the old French charm. Has only one restaurant/ coffee shop but that's perfectly ok w us. Had breakfast which was very good. Loved the place and we plan to only stay there in the future

The rooms are too small

Our main problem was the space. We were two people with two mid-size suitcases and two carry-ons. There wasn't enough space for the two suitcases and the carry-ons. The room they gave us was not meant for two people, even though they charged for two. It was really uncomfortable staying in that room for three days. Literally tripping over our suitcases and clothes all the time. The hotel facilities were otherwise nice and the hotel staff were nice. But it was the room that was the problem. And I would really warn others about the size of the rooms. They don't really fit two people.

We would like to get a refund from this hotel.

The rooms were small, which is normal in Paris. But they were poorly lit: you cannot read a book in your bed at night, for example. The mirror in the room is impractical, opaque in the wrong places. It's a nice, functional hotel in the best of locations, but we were wondering how come it was rated as 5 stars: we didn't see any swimming pool or health club, or a fully-functioning restaurant (although there is room service and a bar/breakfast area). Very pleased with the hotel. Situated in a good area that was safe with easy access to Arc de Triomphe and Champs Elysee. Also pleasant walk to Eiffel Tower and Louvre and Seine. Room clean and comfortable with good bed linen and room service (Prestige room) We dined in the hotel on our first evening and were very pleased with the delicious food and great presentation. However, when dining later in the week we were disappointed and were informed the number one chef was replaced by number two chef on that evening, which was evident by the quality of food. Make sure you dine with the regular chef in attendance. I would definitely return to Hotel Vernet.

Wonderful hotel close to many points of interest.

We had a wonderful time at the hotel. The staff on our arrival were very helpful and friendly. The room was fantastic, a good size, with an amazingly large and comfortable bed. We had all we needed by way of refreshments. The bathroom was also spacious and again with all the comforts required ( bathrobe, slippers etc). We had breakfast in our room, out of choice, which was delicious! Check out was easy and again very helpful with bags and Taxi's etc.

Awesome location, not sure good value for price

Great location, away from the busy Champs-Elysees and very close to the Arc. The service is also good but seemed like a basic hotel for the price. I have had better breakfast buffet in many hotels which are not as expensive and in similar locations. The hotel seems to be taking a modern outlook but it seems to be lost in direction. It has a beautiful roof in the restaurant and the whole decor is still grand with lot of history. But, hip hop music was being played in the lobby. The legendary brandy bar is gone, there seem to be a meeting room (with large conference table) next to the lobby, doesn't really fit the decor. I would rate the hotel average in terms for value for money.

the room is very small but very new as it was newly renovated. The painting smell was very strong. The shower was great and the bed was comfortable. The Breakfast was very expensive and not much choice of food. The location of the hotel was very near to the main street but it was a bit quiet at night.

Hotel Vernet was as goo as we had hoped. Great location close to the Arc De Triomphe and very clean and well kept.
A slightly early awakening by a fire alarm but these things happen.
The bed was comfortable and the staff helpful and friendly.
We were advised that the hotel was to undergo a refurb and as such on our last night we returned to see all of the old, ornate furniture tagged for an upcoming auction. Shame really. I do hope they maintain some of the grandeur as this is the reason why we selected the hotel.

excellent hotel by Arc de Triomphe.

This hotel is just brilliant. The staff are welcoming & extremely helpful (especially Carinne & Fabian). Fabian helped us on numerous occasions.
The hotel is gorgeous as are the rooms. Clean, quiet and light.
The restaurant is very good but as one would expect it is not cheap, being so close to the Champs Elysees.
I would definitely return to this hotel.

Traditional, Elegant Parisian Hotel

I have stayed in Paris about 10 times. This is a wonderful hotel with a traditionally elegant, French decor. Thankfully the decor is not \"contemporary\" as many are now. From my point of view, why would anyone want a hotel in Paris that looks like one in the US?
Steps from the Champs Ellysee & Arc de Triomphe and the metro.
Room large, clean and comfortable.
Breakfast is expensive as is the case with most hotels in this area but there are local cafes and patissieries that are not.
I highly recommend this hotel.

Lovely boutique hotel in Paris

Hotel Vernet is a lovely quaint and quiet hotel with the most wonderful staff!! The rooms are larger than one typically gets in Paris and well equipped. The location is literally a block from the Arche de Triomphe and the subway on small quiet street - the best of both worlds really. We have stayed here before and will stay here again.

Hugely disappointing

We specifically asked to have a traditional, not a contemporary room but were given a contemporary room (plastic furniture, white vinyl couch). The hotel is poorly renovated with lots of maintenace issues (shower pull knob missing, toilet roll holder falling off the wall, huge gap between the tile floor and tub, tub screwed in with bolts in front, water leaking from the floor when the toilet was flushed, bathroom fan not working). I asked that someone come up to our suite so I could let them know of the problems but no-one came . The breakfast buffet was poor (a few small pastries, no cereal, no fruit, no cheese). The location is superb.

Could be a terrific hotel but renovation is sloppy - housekeeping is not quite up to par. Location is fantastic - service is good ( great for Paris) - building is very cool. This could be a five star hotel if not for the misses.

This is a true 4 star hotel in a great area. The hotel is on a quiet street one block from the Avenue des Champs-Élysées. The staff is very good and try to work with specific needs of hotel guests. The price point is good for the quality of service and class of the hotel. I stayed in a deluxe room to get a slightly larger room. The room I had faced the street but was quiet, there are other rooms available that did not face the street. The wifi service was good, the only downside was that the hotel gives an access code that works for only one device (who has only one these days?). Bottom line - I would stay at the hotel again.

Hotel Vernet -Paris

The hotel is really beautiful and its locaiton is very centric.We were right around the corner from the Champs ELysees so it was very convenient.
The room was spacious for the 3 of us and the beds were so comfortable!
But the safe in the room was not working and when we asked for them to repair it, they said right away.
But nothing was done that moment or that whole first night for that matter. The next morning ,we complained that we couldn't leave the room with all our valuables and that they must fix the safe.
well we had to wait for over an hour for someone to show up and fix it!
Also clean towels were hard to find. We had to ask the front desk for the towels every day.

Perfect hotel next to Louis Vouton

It fits the description. It is a 4 star. BUT the restaurant is very good and high class and location is the best in Paris.
