Wonderful experience !! The friendly hotel staff made our stay in Paris a great pleasure, especially Mr. Abdou and Mr. Yasser. Everything was very clean and well mantained. The location is perfect, with an Arc de Triunfo metro station located 1 min away, great restaurants and French cafes across the street. We will book this hotel again for sure.

Truly enjoyed the character and ambiance of this boutique hotel. The location was awesome with quick access to all modes of transportation. The hotel was surrounded by countless cafes, bistros and restaurants for dining. A short stroll down the Champs d’lysse and you find lots of shopping and more dining opportunities. The staff was great. They put up with my broken French as I tried to immerse myself in our visit to Paris. We will definitely return here on our next visit to Paris.

Perfect location with beautiful views. The metro stop Charles de Gaulle-Etoile is literally accessible in front of the hotel (Which is Sortie (exit) 5-Avenue Carnot when you return to the hotel) and you can access metro Line 1, 2, 6, & RER train A. I stayed in the Arc Suite alone with my 13-year-old daughter. It was magical. We felt very safe walking everywhere & using the metro and Ubers for further destinations. The staff was lovely. We did not utilize the breakfast, but I was happy to have a Nespresso machine in the room for coffee before heading out.

Reception staff service can be improved

All good but don’t find reception staff greeted property esp on our exit. Lady on reception just took the keys and ask if anything to be charged no goodbye or happy greeting to kid.

Overall, it was very good hotel. The staff speaks English well. However, the housekeeping wasn’t organized enough. I had to ask the toothpaste and toothbrush to the receptionist. It wasn’t prepared in the bathroom. Also housekeeper didn’t clean the cup that I used a day before.

We asked staff for a restaurant recommendation on the first night and it was awful. Kind of got a feeling that they gave the recommendation as a favour to the restaurant

Also, one night I came home after dinner in a taxi. The driver said he did not accept my card. Said cash only. I went into the reception for help and explained the situation to see if they can come help me talk to the driver. They were basically picking on me as a tourist.

The reception staff just shrugged their shoulders and basically said it wasn't their problem. I had to go out and resolve the problem myself

Would have been good if they had my back. But this was not the case

I was checked in by Illona. I did not realize till I got to my room that she failed to return my passport. I went downstairs to ask for it and she couldn't find it. The bellhop was actually the one that found it and returned it to me. I told Illona that she should have called me when she realized she didn't return it, to which she reponded by laughing. I really don't think it's a laughing matter for someone to lose their passport. It was extremely RUDE of her to react in that manner.

My interactions with the bellhop were very pleasant and he apologized for the mishap.

Amazing views and very clean!!

The Splendide Ètoile truly was beautiful! We loved our stay here it is so close to everything. We shopped a ton just two blocks away, we walked to the Eiffel Tower, taxis were cheap to take to and from here. The staff was very friendly and helped us find food and gave us recommendations of where to visit. We will be back.

I loved this property. Quiet and quaint. The suite we booked was absolutely the star. Arc de Triomphe view. Straight from the window. Couldn't have been much closer.
And to the right of the window, in the distance (but not too far),the Eiffel tower. Stunning! Seeing that lit up at night, magical. Staff was friendly, accomodating and courteous.

10/10!!! After weeks of research and trying to find the perfect place to stay, I am so glad we found this beautiful hotel! This was my first time visiting Paris and this checked all the boxes and was even more beautiful than I had hoped. Our room was a very comfortable size and we even had a little balcony with an amazing view of the Arc de Triomphe! Also one of the rare finds that offered an option for two twin beds. The room was impeccably clean and we really enjoyed the breakfast as well. We were steps away from the public transportation and walking distance to shopping and cafes galore! The staff were all wonderful and everything just could not have been more perfect!

It is conveniently located right next to the ARC De Triomphe and Champs Elysees. Staff is very nice and friendly. One issue we had was that when we asked for water refill after a 4 mile run, we were told we will get only one bottle of water per day. Otherwise, we had a great one week stay.

We stayed 7 days however they didn't give us the best room with the view. I noticed other rooms were empty throughout the week. The other room we got was like a closet and we had to request to change it. It ended up being a reasonable room but overall they were not as good as we expected.

The hotel is walking distance to Arc De Triomphe. The staff was helpful in many ways they could, and I felt at home staying in this hotel. The room and bedding was also comfortable. Breakfast-wise, they serve bacon so I am all good with that.

One thing to take note about the rooms is that you can’t lock the door from the inside, which I think is important for safety and for privacy.

Overall, I enjoyed staying in this hotel, and would definitely stay here again when I next visit Paris.

This hotel claims to be 4 star , I don’t think if it is worth 2 !
3 major issues-
1) the entery of the hotel is staris with no elevtor which makes it hard with baggage and there is no one outside to help .
2) the room keys is still keys !! They asked you to leave it in the reception every time you go outside , the doors are so old you have to put an extra effort to open it !
3) the cleaning lady just makes the bed she doesn’t really clean anything , the carpet and bathroom weren’t really clean !

My advice if you are not taking the room with the view just switch to a cheaper hotel , this hotel is about the view , the classic not with a balcony room are very small, their view is a wall .

Upon arrival we were greeted by a warm, professional and welcoming front desk staff! We were very tired from our flight and to our surprise we were offered croissants and cappuccinos while waiting to leave our luggage since we arrived prior to check in. It was kind gesture and we really appreciated it. To our surprise our room was ready and we able to unwind and rest before heading out to explore. The room was immaculate, spacious and had a breathtaking view of the Arc and Eiffel Tower! The hotel is located near bistros, transportation and shopping. This was our first trip to Paris and we absolutely loved our stay at the Splendid Étoile! Merci to the entire staff for making our stay enjoyable and memorable!

Fantastic stay at the Hotel Splendid Etoile for our first anniversary. Go for room 608 which has commanding views of the ACT and Eiffel Tower, Paris at night from the bed was superb.
Property is well located, safe, convenient and well presented.

Our four nights at the Splendid Etoile Hotel were a delightful way to end our trip to France. The location was terrific -- having a room with a view of Arc de Triomphe was great.

But best of all was the staff. Amadou and the other staff members could not have done more to make our stay great, from arranging transportation from the train station to the hotel, to printing our \"Covid\" forms for the return home.

It was a most enjoyable stay and we would stay there again if we are lucky enough to return to Paris.
