Hotel is quaint. Old but clean. Less than 50 steps out the front door to the metro station. Several cafes along the street. Also close to Arc de Triomphe and Champs Elysees. The biggest issue was that the a/c seems to cut off with lack of motion so it got hot at night when I set it and expected it to maintain cool until morning and it didn’t. I woke up and it was off and I was hot. Once I figured it out I turned it back on when I’d get up to get to the bathroom. Wish I didn’t have to do that. Room had a slight smoking room odor which was annoying but bearable. Desk attendants were very nice and helpful especially the night guy. He helped me arrange airport transfer cheaper than Uber. Also gave me tips for site seeing.

Hot water wasn’t so hot. It was more like extra warm but never hot. Fine for a shower but not for a bath.

All in All it was a good option location wise and staff friendly. Rooms were cleaned daily.

The decor was that of renaissance style. Heavy velvet and bright colors.

Breakfast was offered daily at an extra charge.

Amazing hotel in the absolute best location of Paris.. super close to the Metro station, at the end of our stay we took the metro to the train station (Gare de Lyon) to go to Barcelona and did not have to walk a bit.. rooms are lovely- we had the connecting rooms with a balcony and beautiful view of the Eiffel Tower and Arc d triomphe.. staff (especially Mike who welcomed us and gave us great recommendations for our walks and restaurants and Benoit who was very nice and they both spoke English).. we cannot wait to come back!

Great place to stay. Very clean room! Fridge stocked with beverages. Also a kettle to make coffee & tea. Staff was friendly & professional. Benoit had great suggestions & was very helpful in getting us oriented. Location was perfect…steps away from a metro made it easy to get to popular tourist spots. Also location was a couple blocks from Arc de Triomphe & Champs Elysse. Didn’t try the breakfast because hotel is so close to dozens of great places to eat at every price range.

An uncomfortable but manageable stay in Paris

The front desk person was a little condescending when they found out part of why we were in Paris was for the Eras Tour, it was not bad service but just disappointing. We found it odd that they did not just use key cards but rather large heavy keys that you turned into the front desk when ever you left the property and had to request when you got back on property. This left us feeling uneasy about the security of our room, especially after we first checked into our room and an employee entered our room while we were sleeping causing us to jump out of our skin. For a 1 night stay that allowed us to go to a concert while also being near famous sight seeing spots it was 70% worth it but we will both say if we could time travel back we would have just spent a little more money and booked elsewhere

Boutique hotel but very clean and nice! We love the old style of the building and the vintage keys! We got 2 connecting rooms and I think the spaces are good consider the historical building. I got the balcony room with the view of the Arc and you can see the top of the Eiffel Tower as well. Love the views!!! Location is so convenient, one metro station is right next to the hotel (few steps away), there is another metro station is just across the street. The guy at front desk is so friendly and nice (I'm pretty sure that's the same guy few reviews also mentioned), he gave us tips on how to be cautious with pocket pickers, where to go for photos around Eiffel Tower, and also arranged our taxi to airport, our family of 5 got the big van taxi and the pricing is very reasonable! Highly recommend! Thank you from USA.

The room I had was tiny. I had just about enough room to get my suitcase between the open door and the bed. It’s a good thing I’m not big otherwise I probably would have had problems. Some of the power points did not work intermittently either, so I would plug in my phone and after a few minutes it would just stop charging. After experimenting I found one plug in point that worked reliably and that’s what I used to charge everything on rotation.
The staff were very friendly and approachable. They gave me advice on a suitable route to go for a run and told me where the best places to go visit were. I booked this hotel because it was within walking distance of the conference I was attending but it turned out to be very convenient for transport too as it was very close to the metro and the arc de triomphe and champs elysee. Had a very pleasant walk through those and then along the Seine after. So despite the room being not quite what I would have hoped for I would still recommend it.

Older hotel fair but not well maintained. Our lock broke one evening and we had to wait in the lobby for over 3 hours until a locksmith could come to repair it. Room was unbelievably small and cramped. Front desk staff fair but not very helpful. Price high for size room.

This property was at a GREAT location, steps from several Metro lines & RER, the Arc de Triomphe, Champs d'Elysses and tons of restaurants, bus stops, and on and on. The staff were amazing, helpful, fluent in English and the hotel was clean and we always had lots of coffee and supplies, including a stocked fridge in our room. Highly recommend.

The property was very beautiful with dreamy sitting areas, beautiful decorations and the cutest antique keys to get you into the rooms. The one concern was that we were told on check in that breakfast was included in the stay so we ate breakfast both days of our stay. It was very very basic (basically bread and coffee) but it held us over for a couple of hours. On checkout we were charged 140 euros for breakfast. This was very disappointing because we could have gotten much better food at nearby cafes for that amount of money.

A great option

This hotel is located a block from the LeBus Direct stop from Charles de Gaulle airport. It is steps from the Charles de Gaulle Étoile stop on the Métro and just a few blocks from the start of the Champs Élysées. There are also several grocery stores and bakeries nearby if you don’t want to eat out. While the rooms are small by North American standards, they are normal for Paris and perfectly adequate for two people. The elevator is small, taking only 2-3 people so if you don’t like to wait, you may want to stay on a low flour and walk up. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. We will be back and I have already recommended this hotel to several others.

I got the key , came through that door , utter disappointment ! The pictures do not reflect the room size and spatial arrangement . I and my wife could barely walk around the room. The bed was wrongfully advertised as a double ! The picture shown on this review page - which is their flagship - was what I believed I paid for @$120 ( on inspection was only marginally bigger ), was offered to me (as a deal ) at an extra $80/day.

Location was amazing. I knew it was a good spot, but it was a 2 min walk to arc de triomphe, which also has a stop for the hop on hop off bus tour we did, which was perfect. There is also a metro stop practically right in front AND the airport shuttle bus has a stop there as well. All of these things I realised after the fact of booking, but it made our travels with 4 kids under 6 years old just that much easier.

The hotel has spacious rooms but a very tiny elevator.

Although the room was quite small it was clean and comfortable with a modern, very good, shower. The concierge is so kind and helpful. I was just there for one night but it’s proximity to Le Bus Direct for De Gaulle Airport was the main reason; a two minute walk.

I stayed here with my daughter and granddaughter for five nights on their first visit to Paris. The location is great, a few minutes’ walk from Etoile Metro, which itself is very central. And also a few minutes’ walk from l’Arc de Triomphe, which we could see from our balcony. The hotel is Paris-quaint and with the extra bed in it was quite small. But it was comfortable, plenty of hot water and we really only slept there so it was more than fine. If you want modern European this is not the place but If you want a lovely Paris experience, I highly recommend.
The concierges were great, very helpful and polite about my French.

First of all, the condition of room was way different with the photos.
It says 4 stars hotel so I booked it but the actual condition was not for 4 stars at all.
3 stars can be barely proper for this hotel.
The bathroom was remodeled and cleaned but the amenities were like too cheap products which was I can not even try to use it..
I traveled around in Paris so many times and usually 4 stars hotel has way better bathroom amenities that this place.
The floor was almost half broken so I felt almost dangerous..
And whole night I could here every step of guest from above.
It was very unpleasant and I will not ever stay at this hotel again.
Also the staff Benoit was busy to texting his phone when I was asking him about the map to get to Versaille.
Well, I understand but I do not think that is proper attitude of hotel staff in reception desk.
The location was perfect and great!

We stayed here for one night and the main reason we booked this hotel was because of the location. We knew we were going to be out late at night near the Eiffel Tower and we also were going to take the airport bus (Le Bus Direct) to the airport the next morning and this hotel was the perfect location. It is one block away from the airport bus stop and there is a metro stop right outside. We could have stayed near the Eiffel Tower, but this was a better choice for our budget!

The room itself was pretty spacious for Paris but a little outdated, but maybe that's part of it's charm (we stayed in room 216). There were three of us staying in the room. I didn't sleep on the cot/pull out bed, but the normal bed was quite comfy. The AC worked well too. The one odd thing was the door to the bathroom had a huge frosted window which didn't offer much privacy when showering or changing (I wouldn't normally mind, but my husband and I were traveling with my sister and I'm sure we all would have appreciated a solid door instead of the one with a frosted window).

Otherwise, our stay was great. We arrived early and were able to store our luggage in the lobby (relying on the front desk staff to ensure nothing was stolen). We didn't have breakfast here so I can't review that, but there is a bagel shop right next door that has heavenly smelling bagels!

This beautiful little boutique hotel was what we wanted in it’s size and location. The room was comfortable. The staff was mildly welcoming. I had hoped for a little more from the front desk regarding enthusiasm and guidance. To my surprise, breakfast was not included and for the price of the stay it would have been a great bonus or at a minimum, it would have been nice if there had been an a la carte for a less expensive price wherein we could have grabbed a coffee or water before setting out for the day.

It was feet away from the Airport Shuttle and from major tourist attractions.
The property is in bad shape.
The room condition is horrible. The chairs are dirty. One table chair is in so bad shape you cannot sit on it.
The TV is placed in a corner making it impossible to watch.
The curtains are filthy.
The bathrooms are clean which is the only positive thing.

The property location is about the only thing that I liked about my stay. The mattress was very uncomfortable and possibly had bed bugs because the back of my head had a few bumps after I got home. This was supposed to be the \"larger\" room but it was one of the smallest places I have ever stayed. Severely outdated and not in a good way. Pretty much ruined my trip to Paris.

Perfectly located historic gem

Tiny room but fabulous view. Would stay again. Steps from Charles de Gaulle -Etoile train station, easy walk to Champs-Elysees. A bit dated but historic, quirky and cozy. Fabulous staff.
