The food for all meals was very good . Cleanliness of hotel great - the lobby, bathrooms , the room . Great location to explore Paris. It is an older hotel ( 1925?) so the rooms were smaller - we had a balcony which helped the feel of being open . Mattress, pillows, linens great . The room temp would only go down to 19 celsius in the thermostat . not sure it reached that and with the thickness of the comforter seemed a little warm in late May. They had construction in the room above us one day , but made it right with a food service credit

Unfortunately, our check in process was terrible. We had traveled all day and did not expect our rooms to be ready when we got there at noon so booked a tour and came back around 4:30pm. When we came at noon the person at the front desk told us she didn't know when our rooms would be ready because the family in them had a late check out. We did not need to be in the rooms until 4:30 so we didn't worry about it. when we returned at 4:30 the rooms were still not ready and we were told there was nothing they could do, the rooms just weren't ready. This is a 5 star hotel which charges 5 star hotel prices... check in is at 3pm. The staff was rude and unhelpful. We have stayed at numerous luxury hotels and have never had such a terrible experience.
Not only were the staff unhelpful but the service for breakfast was equally bad. Cream for the coffee never came, the orders were not taken properly and we were overcharged both mornings. Overall we were very disappointed in our stay. The only very friendly staff was the doorman.

A gem in the 8th arr.

Rarely do you find a hotel that \"checks all the boxes\" for excellence as does this fine hotel. From the moment of check in to check out, this hotel is a real gem. The staff is top notch, the furnishings and the rooms are excellent. We loved our balcony room especially.

We arrived to check in at 3pm when we were told our room would be ready. We were told a Marriott member had our room on a “late checkout” until four pm and they would buy us a drink. Our room was not ready until 6pm. There were piles of garbage in front of the hotel and garbage under our bed when permitted to finally enter our room.

This was a mother-daughter Covid postponed birthday celebration.
As we checked in we were informed that we were upgraded to better room and we had champagne and desserts waiting for us in the room. Super sweet!!
Service was absolutely amazing and the location was just perfect especially since it was just the two of us. It was conveniently located to all the attractions that we had planned. We absolutely loved our stay at Prince de Galles and would highly recommend and looking forward on coming back.

Setting the standard!

We can’t say enough good things, and compliments about the hotel, specially about the staff.
Paula from Front Desk was extremely cordial and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. She noticed it was my husband’s birthday and she was kind enough to send a bottle of champagne and macaroons to the room.
The room was spotless clean, the sheets super comfortable and zero noise! They personally gave us a tour of the hotel premises and walked us all the way up to our room and explained how everything worked inside the room. Best place we’ve ever stayed at by far. We always stay in five star hotels, all over the world. This place sets the standard.

Really nice location and rooms are quite lovely. However, I had an awful experience with the spa, I booked an appointment for hair and make up and called back like 3 coins later to cancel. They tried to wrangle me into paying anyways and the whole attitude was very gypsy like and un-classy. I was within cancellation policy. They let it go eventually but just a bitter taste...

Great service and location!

Incredible service. We arrived several hours earlier than check-in time, hopeful that we could store our luggage at the front desk and check-in later in the day. Upon our return, they had upgraded our room to a suite and had the luggage waiting for us. The location was amazing for sightseeing, shopping and dining.

I have been to Paris many times but this was by far my best hotel experience. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The aminities of the hotel exceeded all my expectations. They have fantastic 24 hour gym for those who like to get in a workout while traveling. Room is spacious, modern and clean. Truly a five star hotel. Coming back 100%.

The hotel has been recently renovated and in terms of decoration
and overall outlook, it ranks among one of the best in Paris.
Unfortunately there was a problem with the A/C system, that due to
the unexpected high temperatures in Paris, it could not cope with
the extraordinary demands for cooling certain number of rooms.
The hotel Manager has promised that by the beginning of 2019, the
problem will be solved.

Positioned Perfectly in Paris

These Parisians made me feel so welcome in their city. Upon flying all night, the last thing I wanted was to wait for my room to be ready - and the staff read my mind. They made a special accommodation for me, and provided me with a room upgrade. Within moments, this weary traveler was soon enjoying a delicious breakfast on the balcony, while looking up at the Eiffel tower and down at designer stores such as Dior and Hermes.

It is the best hotel experience I had in my life. We were in this hotel the day of our wedding. The staff did everything possible, from calling me when the groom was on his way to the room to make sure I (the bride) was ready, to guiding my hairdresser and all. They even went the extra miles with little attention for our wedding. We felt privileged.
The location was central and perfect for the photo shoot in Paris, we even took pictures on the balcony with the roofs of Paris in the background. It was perfect. We wish we would have stayed an extra night, it was so special.

Lovely hotel with extremely convenient location.

This is a beautiful hotel with staff who are exceptionally welcoming, friendly and professional. The location is excellent, being close to the Champs Elysees, L'Arc de Triomphe and Metro stations to access other sights. My only slight criticism is that, for me, the music in the Bar area could get a little too loud later on in the evening. However, other guests may like this, so this is just my personal feeling.

I expected more.

The good: Location, comfortable beds, usually helpful staff, large room and bathroom.
The bad: Room had a strange smell like wet cheap bar soap, maybe a sewer issue, notified the front desk, it wasn't resolved, we got used to it, we joked it smells like we're home everyday when we came back from excursions; expensive including the bar/restaurant.
Summary: I know you don't get much for your money in popular cities like Paris, Rome, New York but I expected better for the price.

the staff is friendly and always ready to help
the only negative issue was that i had the bad surprise of having my stay withdrawn by the hotel on my arrival date while it was already paid to expedia via a non refundable deal
they agreed on the mistake and Anna the lady in charge sent a nice basket of fruits and a half bottle of champagne to apologise for the incident (i am still waiting for the refund it seems it takes a month once done)
otherwise all was good

Hotel sobrevalorado. Pedí una cuna al llegar a las 9 pm y las sábanas llegaron 2 horas después; además el aire acondicionado no funciona bien y ni siquiera hicieron el turn down service. Viejo, sin amenidades, mal servicio con niños y un elevador inseguro; no merece 5 estrellas. Lo único bueno es la ubicación.

일단 개선문이 도보 5분도 안되는 거리에 있어 훌륭한 위치입니다. 직원들도 세련되었고 특히 큰 발코니가 있는 방으로 업그레이드받아 밤에도 샹제리제거리 야경을 즐길 수 있어 행복했습니다. 다만 아침식사는 뷔페식+주문하는 형식인데 사람이 너무 많아 서버들이 정신없어 보였고 주문한 메뉴가 너무 늦게 나왔습니다. 아침식사 빼고는 전체적으로 만족한 호텔입니다
