I thought the hotel was so so. I arrived early morning and my room was not ready. As hotel was full, they could not offer me a place to relax. Receptionist called me back about 1 pm that the room was ready: to my pleasant surprise, I was upgraded to a suite. However, in the suite, there was only one vent to the bedroom area, none for the rest of the unit (bathroom, hallway and mini-kitchen, which was cold). It would have been ok if the weather was not so cold (it was 0 to 5 degrees C). Lobby was ok and the restaurant was just a place to eat. Staff were nice and helpful, but that did not make up for the lack of ambience and comfort. IMO, this property does not merit a 5-star rating.

A gem of a hotel. Ideally located near the arc De Triomphe this hotel offers fantastic service, delicious food and the room was very clean and well stocked with everything needed for a stay.
The reception was always available and happy to help with any requests you may have from hotel requests to sorting bookings for meals and events you might want to attend while in Paris.
I would highly recommend this hotel for a bit of luxury to enhance your visit.

If Paris is the city of love, then the Majestic Hotel is the hotel of comfort! From the moment we arrived, everything felt effortless and welcoming. Our room was surprisingly spacious (a true Parisian unicorn 🦄) with the softest beds, pillows, and sheets—basically the kind of setup that makes you want to cancel sightseeing and just lounge all day.

The details here are chef’s kiss: big fluffy towels (not the tiny ones you usually get in Europe), a shower with actual water pressure and perfect temperature, and elevators that don’t leave you waiting an eternity. My kids are still raving about the pool! Such a nice extra when traveling with kiddos.

The location couldn’t be better—just steps away from the Champs-Élysées and countless dining options—yet tucked in a quiet spot so we actually got peaceful nights of sleep. And the staff? Kind, helpful, and genuinely delightful.

All in all, 10/10. A rare gem in Paris that manages to be both luxurious and family-friendly. We’ll be back! ✨

Room is larger than expected. Love the shutters makes sleeping in so easy.

The property was located in a great area closed to the Arc of Triumph so was very easy to walk from and to the hotel. The room was very comfortable and clean, big and with all the needs I expected.
The prices at the mini bar were extremely expensive, for example just a tea was 8 euros, which is outrageous
The day we did the check in we decided to get breakfast at the hotel, that was a big mistake because was not included for that day, we paid 38 euros per person -the rest of the days our breakfast was included in the rate.
The last day we did the check out very early and we couldn't get breakfast but the hotel did not want to recognize that. Overall it was a nice and safe hotel. Well kept and comfortable.

The room was very spacious and the bathroom was great with tub and shower. We also had great service from the lady who cleaned our room every day and provided us with plenty of water bottles!!

However, the breakfast was the worst we've had for a 5 star hotel... Our eggs were cold 3 days out of the 5 days of our stay, and/or the order we placed was wrong. The omelettes barely had any ham or cheese... What a disappointment especially since the breakfast was 38 Euros/person!

The hotel is in a nice area close to the arc and great restaurants. It is not a hotel with a busy lobby. It does have a bar. But in the 20 days I was there I never saw a guest or a bartender.
The staff is very friendly. They do not have a concierge. The pool is perfect.

The Majestic Hotel lives up to it's name with beautiful rooms, passage ways and reception. The staff are very friendly and professional. It's location is a 5 min or so walk away from the Arc De Triomphe, with many small street cafes in the area. The room was immaculate and was everything we could have wanted for a special birthday and 30th wedding anniversary break.

Had a fantastic family stay here. We stayed in the suite and there was plenty of room for all of us. It was in a great location and was very clean and comfortable. What made this stay extraordinary was when the Chef Concierge Yannick Tonnellier got on his motorbike and personally delivered one of our forgotten bags to us at the airport. We were so thankful for this act of kindness and this exceeded our expectations of hospitality. Would never stay anywhere else in Paris.

Sleepy spot a couple blocks from the Arc de Triomphe. We were hoping to get a chance to use the pools - but you had to book ahead of time at the front desk and the hours seemed not so convenient if you are trying to see the sights during the day. Wish it was easier to access and that they offered massage services etc.

This property was extremely disappointing. Our room wasn’t what was represented to us in the picture when we booked. There were lights out in the bathroom, shower wasn’t working, the TV remote didn’t even have batteries. Called to get coffee at 6am and said sorry have to wait until 7am. Mind boggling to me when you’re paying 700$ a night. We were traveling with children and in the bathroom there was a rack to hang things. On the bottom there were 2 metal anchors to hold the rack and one had a plastic protector and the other was exposed in which my son banged his head on the metal. Light switches were dated and faulty couldn’t turn certain lights off. The spa was closed as well. I am not one to complain but when you’re paying as much as you are per night you expect better. Wouldn’t recommend staying here to anyone.

The room did not match the description, I know that it is not always like the photo but it needs a serious refresh (furniture, carpet, curtains, and bathroom).
We arrived in the evening and the staff who did our check-in was so new he didn’t know which building our room was (nor did the person who helped with the luggage) so we lost 15 min going up and down looking for our room.
There was no bottle of water so I had to boil water in order to take my medicine with tea (and no bottle was left during our stay) which we mentioned at checkout and at least we were told that it was unacceptable

I’m very disappointed regarding commitment.
I’ve asked for parking and I was told will cost €60 per day on the hotel carpark. First day was all ok on second day when I came back to the hotel after a day in the city with the car i was told that the car park its full and I don't have to park. I left in the middle of the night with no parking when I booked for 2 days. Very unprofessional.

I have stayed at this property several times in the last five years including my honeymoon. This time I was staying with my wife, my new baby and my best friend in a two bedroom suite. The service by the front desk and concierge people was amazing. Problems with the hotel that can’t be fixed.. The nice rooms face the road where the Peninsulas service doors are. Constantly from 11pm until 6am they have deliveries and workers come in and out. It’s about 25 meters across the street, we could not sleep. The heat is controlled by the building. It was scalding hot the entire three days. We asked to turn on our ac and they said it was off for the winter. Lastly the electricity went out four times in three days. Each time we had to call down to have them come fix the problem.

Lastly, the manager of the hotel is extremely disappointing. We heard it from several people that work in the hotel that he has made long time clients look elsewhere.

As great as the employees are, I could never stay here or recommend this hotel to anyone based on the facts above.

Very disappointing to be woken up by a drill in the room next door at 7am. Also the tv is working erratically and I mentioned the annoying harsh blue lights that flood the room at night. The hotel ‘remedied’ by sticking a white sheet of paper on top which didn’t help at all. Shame because the reception staff is friendly. However I would have expected some kind of gesture on departure rather than being asked to settle for the few euros of extras. I wonder whether this room was earmarked for Expedia guests...

The first room did not have an internet connection, the second room had no headboard with a very uncomfortable bed and the third room had a bed with two bed bases and mattresses making you fall in the middle with a poor internet connection.

We stayed in the suite, 2 adults and 2 children. The children had the sofa bed in the living room. There was still space for us to sit round a table for dinner. There is a small kitchenette behind some doors with basic plates and cutlery. The main room was huge with two wardrobes, one large spacious bathroom and another toilet by the door. The water pressure was strong, bath filled quickly. They even provided the dog with a bed and bowls. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Location is quiet but a stone's throw from the arc de triomf and the champs Elysées. Valet parking available. We couldn't fault the place

I would not give this hotel a 5 star rating. The front desk staff were not especially friendly when we checked in. Our bathtub plug didn't seal so I couldn't take a bath. We brought this to the staff's attention and nothing was done about it. Even though we had booked a family room for four people, they kept stocking the room with 2 of everything every morning and we would have to phone to get 2 more glasses, 2 more cups, etc. Finally, no coffee machine or espresso maker. Only instant packet of decaf coffee!! Not a five star experience at all.

Perfect Urban Five Star Boutique hotel retreat . A little sister to the Grand Penninsula Hotel ,(across st. ) yet not number 2 in importance. A little bit of a vacation can be had in the hotels relaxing and perfectly appointed Pool and Spa. Whilst I was lucky enough to set up a massage( five star quality ) in the serenity of this little urban haven, I could also use the hotel as base for some great dining, near by. The obvious, Raphael hotel, rooftop in the summer, was brimming with views of the Eiffel Tower and only a step away from my hotel, whilst the Lilly Chinoise restaurant was across the street, also at the Penninsula. Now, the Majestic is not a foodie haven, but so what? what you get is real personalised service from the front desk. .. like no one else was in the hotel, William would call antique dealers for me, make sure my makeup and massages were set up for a night on the town. For the area and Prices in Paris, its going to be rare to find the large rooms, and SilENCE that this hotel provides.. Quiet, spacious rooms and a Pool that is decent enough length to swim laps . I picked the hotel as I swim daily. I love personal service and that is what you get. Room service was brought to me in within 10 minutes during a morning rush. most hotels could take 45 minutes. you feel at home, which is a cliche but you are really pampered and for a single woman, we love that ! and I loved Majestic! Amenities, first class_ by Bottega Veneta. flawless, personal and style.

Without doubt one of the favorite hotels I stayed during my time in Paris! Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the staff and general manager, our names were mentioned upon checking and we were upgraded to the Paradise Suite. The staff was extremely friendly, the restaurant and bar very flexible (appreciate this!) and the restaurant supervisor deserves a special thanks. The receptionist Ali, the lady who greeted us upon check-in, Concierge, the two ladies at the bar were just amazing and provided one of the best customer experience you can have. The rooms were gigantic compared to any hotels in Paris. This was an awesome living space with two kids and my wife. We had two great evenings here, which obviously also added up to the experience.

Ali has such a warm personality and highly motivated guide (recommendable!). I truly enjoyed him providing my family and I the guidance of restaurants and touring sites around Paris. The hotel room scenery was beautiful and it was a relieve to walk in such a quiet and peaceful environment. The natural bath (and amenities) were phenomenal. We were close to everything.

Note, the atmosphere and location is so special that it really felt like home to me. All respect for staff members who engaged and did does an excellent job here; a true sample of excellent hospitality!

Great location near the arc de triomphe and well appointed rooms but too hot & difficult to adjust AC. Best aspect is the spa. Worst aspect is the different lifts you have to get in to access different parts of the hotel. Also poor to have so few UK channels in this day and age . WIFI very weak

The rooms are spacious and clean... it is hard to find a good size room in Paris, especially at a decent price, and the Majestic's prices are a good value for the space. It is in a good location and easily walkable to the Kleber Metro stop and the Champs Elysees. The staff has always been helpful and friendly. The spa area is nice as well, though we did not use it this stay, we have in the past, and the pool area is very relaxing.

Luxury but...

My wife and I had an enjoyable stay at the hotel. We did find the neighborhood a bit far from most of the really hip and busy areas. Everything was a least a half hour walk and there is very little going on around the hotel The staff was super helpful and the stay was very nice.

Had a very nice stay here for 5 nights with my husband, very quiet & great location for walking to Eiffel Tower or shopping @ Champs & other areas ..The only thing that needs fixing is the grout around the tub/shower had some mildew which is an easy fix & for the price they charge I expected better for the bathroom.. Breakfast was good, lots of yummy pastries & eggs & bacon/sausage available on Buffett table. I would recommend this hotel
