This was a very cute and accessible hotel for my first trip to Paris. I wish I had gotten names of the front desk staff who assisted me, a female worker at check in upon my arrival was very sweet and informative. A younger male employee who was at the front desk a couple times was also very sweet and helpful, he arranged my taxi ride to the airport as well. He also gave me restaurant recommendations, train schedule suggestions etc.

There were three other gentlemen who weren't as helpful or not sure if they were as willing to assist with questions, but I made do.

My only \"negative\" points are that I wish the TV had more channels or a way for streaming services so if you did watch TV it could be in another language but not a big issue just something I noticed. Also, the bed in my room was too soft I felt like I was sinking, some guests might enjoy this but thought I'd mention it if it's not something you like but it was a bit difficult to sleep.

As mentioned, this was my first time in Paris and this was a great safe and quiet choice that is walking distance to the major sites. I will recommend it to others.

A lovely boutique hotel, very clean and centrally located. The nearest Metro is Bossiere, lots of shops and cafes nearby.

Room was very small - while that's expected in Europe, this was smaller than most. The room was clean and had enough basic amenities for our needs. The staff was very nice and accommodating. Their English was limited in some cases, but we still managed to communicate well enough.
Location was walking distance to the Arc.
The hotel offered room service, but we didn't use it. I think the kitchen was downstairs - no restaurant to go and sit to have a meal. There is a small selection of snacks to purchase in the lobby, but nothing really healthy. There are a few markets nearby within easy walking distance.

The Hotel is in a good location. The condition of the hotel is also good. The breakfast was not good. The eggs were terrible, and the other options weren't great. My room was nice but there is no safe or mini fridge. There aren't a lot of amenities in the room.

Hotel Pastel was a great stay, the only issue is the size of the room. Paris is tricky because most rooms are very small anyways.. but this was difficult. We were two people and there was no room to open our suitcases unfortunately. Otherwise the hotel was clean, decor was beautiful, bed was comfortable and it’s in a good location.

The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The Air Conditioning was not working during our stay, and we were in Paris during some of the hottest days of July 2025. The staff were very “hopeful” that the systems were getting repaired and would work, but it never got to the U.S. standards of A/C. The rooms were small but comfortable. Rest assured, it does cool off at night and the windows open to allow cooler air to help out.

The check in process went well. You have to leave your key at the front desk each time you leave the hotel which we found odd. Everything you enter you have to give your room number and receive your key again. The hotel is about a 13 min walk from the metro station, which is convenient. My husband found women’s hair rolled into a ball in his clean towel (this was not mine). There is no safe, which is a must when traveling (passports and extra cash). We were supplied with one bottle of water in the room when we checked in. I assumed they would replenish it daily but they did not.

Hotel is pretty much what we expected. This hotel gives you all of the European charm you could want! The rooms are small, that's the way they built them so many years ago. What we originally thought was a closet turned out to be the bathroom. We are not small people, just normal for older american people, but we made everything work and we had a great time. We want the European feel and definitely got it. The hotel is clean, staff is alway pleasant and helpful, the included breakfast was really good, always the same, but the variety made it easy to enjoy something different all the time. The elevator is small but it's there and it works for 2-3 people at a time.

This is my second time staying at Hotel Pastel and I absolutely love it! The decor is so beautiful, and the staff are very polite. I even got an upgrade this time to a beautiful junior suite, which was amazing because it was my birthday trip. I love that there’s so many cute restaurants around and Trocadéro is not that far within walking distance. I will definitely continue to stay here whenever I come to Paris.

It felt like a family business in a good way, the staff was so friendly and they seem to get along with each other and I really appreciate that. Room was tiny tiny as expected for Paris in this location and price range. I loved the location its near the subway and main touristic spots. If room was a bit larger I would give a 5.

A very, very small room, even by Parisian standards. Our bed was too small for two average sized people. The carpet smelled and needed replacing (or removal), and the bathroom was tiny.
The receptionist was very nice. Location was good.
Breakfast was average. The usual bread you get everywhere in Paris.

This hotel is a gem! It’s quaint and beautiful, and it’s located 1 block from the metro. A peaceful retreat away from the noise but still so many really nice food options all around. We were placed on the 2nd floor (which is really the 3rd floor) and they gave us a gorgeous street view! Our window swung open and it was magic below. Also the rain at night was a delight beckoning up the sweet smell of Paris and the sounds of life below. It was so peaceful. Breakfast was amazing in this place too! The lady who prepared was so lovely, remembering every day how we enjoy our cafe. We had a great speed of all the foods you could want and the pain du chocolate (oooh la la!) was the best thing I tasted in Paris! The staff here were really helpful and extra hospitable. A wonderful experience! Thank you!

The room was terribly small. The carpet is so old that it has an odor. Had to sleep with the window open each night. The tub does not have a shower curtain so the water leaked on the floor so bad that you have to use your bath towel to dry. The towels were so old, dinghy and thin. Would not stay there again

The Property/Hotel was very nice. It was central, allowing access to the popular site seeing areas. Lots of nice cafes close by. The staff were very attentive, polite and ready to assist where needed. Communication very good, and English spoken by all when my French let me down.
The only problem I had was with the shower which was attached to the wall in the bath. There was no shower curtain or screen. This unfortunately made the bathroom floor very wet.
Apart from that enjoyed my stay.
Would certainly recommend this hotel to others.

My husband and I stayed for six nights. It was a mostly quiet atmosphere. The staff was extremely kind and helpful with any questions we had. Everything was very clean. The shower/tub ceiling was slanted and so low that we had to crouch during showers. The beds were very small and comfort level was acceptable but could have been better - any movement and I woke up. The AC was ok on mild nights but not sufficient during very hot nights.

Great location! Close to metro and walkable to multiple lines, and to L’Arc de Triomphe. Would stay here again for sure. The rooms were super cute and clean. The staff was helpful. We really really loved it!

Very friendly staff. Check in was super quick. Room was nice. Bed was comfortable, pillows ok. Downside is the noise from other rooms as every step can be heard. 10 min walk from arc and 10 mins to tower. Fab location. Would stay here again.
