I asked for a peppermint tea bag and an extra bottle of water in the afternoon which never arrived, then I asked the cleaning lady again, they ended sending me all the other types of tea bags I did not need. The young lady at the reception also seems inexperienced, she shows willingness to help earnestly, however she did not remember that she promised to send some ice to our room which never happened. Alas, otherwise our experience would have been very good!

Shangri la is a little piece of heaven, by far the greatest staff I have ever come across, the place is spectacular, the amenities are perfect and 5 star, and the staff, every person from the time you arrive to the time you leave are better than a 5 star they would be the first 10 star rating!! in all my travels they have the finest and best staff in the world!!! The food is amazing as well, the place is so great you don’t want to leave the premises!!

This hotel is so beautiful inside, they have a nice garden with view of Eiffel Tower. The rooms are so clean and spacious. Staff are amazing, specially concierge. The only thing we didn’t like at this amazing hotel was the food and service at the Shange Palace restaurant, food is decent and service is not great. Everything else was amazing and we would definitely going back. If you are looking for a luxury hotel with great service and location this is the one. Also, pool is great too with the view of Eiffel Tower.

This place was EPIC!!
We have stayed at plenty of 5 star hotels in Paris and other cities and this really was beyond 5 star hotel experience.
From the reception area, to the guest relations staff who walk you into your room, to the amazing concierge, you will feel like royalty. The rooms were impeccably decorated with no details forgotten. We also appreciate how quiet the rooms were given how well situated the hotel was.

Special mention again to the Concierge staff who were so efficient and attentive with all our request and would follow up on every single reservation we had.

This hotel deserves 10 stars!!

HANDS down one of the best hotels with amazing services i stayed at. Concierge best team!! They handled all restaurant booking to car transportation! We came unprepared but they planned it for us and reserved the ticket .Always available all day! Overall each staff was friendly! The hotel was also very clean and close to eiffel tower! Highly recommend the private car service as well.

We were very unhappy with our stay. The hotel is not worth the price. The spa is not impressive with small steam rooms that are too cold and do not have enough steam. The concierge is out of sync with their colleagues and would double book or fail to book restaurant reservations without giving us notice. The initial man that checked me in was not very welcoming and did not give us a tour of the hotel or offered us any accommodations to make us comfortable while our room was ready. The staff was rude to us when we tried to sit in the garden restaurant patio with the view of the Eiffel Tower to watch it light up one last time before our trip ended. The room service was unacceptable and way overpriced for the quality. I simply ordered ginger tea with lemon and they could not get it right even after the second time. We did not know there was a converter hidden in a desk drawer as no one informed us. We even asked the concierge, I believe it was James for a mustache, why there are no working outlets in the room to plug in my curling iron. He said it should be the same converter we used in Italy and never mentioned the alternative one so I never got to style my hair this entire trip. Cleaning services were also not up to our standards - they would leave used coffee cups and empty pods in the room instead of cleaning it up and never replaced the coffee pods. This hotel was NOT a 5-star hotel by our standards. This does not compare to other 5-star hotels that are much cheaper.

It’s terrible experience at such a 5 star hotel. We stayed for 2 nights but the 2nd nights evening totally water for the bathroom was shut down due to the property problem. We couldn’t take a shower and even flush the toilet. The hotel knew the problem earlier but they just deliver a letter to the room “no water for the maintenance from midnight to 5 am” then, they continued to shut down the water afterword since they couldn’t repair. The smell was terrible too. They didn’t offer to change the hotel under the illegal conditions before that’s happened. Can you imagine no water at the hotel? They shouldn’t operate while maintenance. I want they refund for the night.

Gorgeous and historical property. Walking distance from Champs Elysees and very close to Eiffel and Trocadero. Also across the street from a great Asian museum. It was impossible to get an early checkin but that’s understandable. Service and staff are great though they don’t offer a hotel car within a mile or so within the vicinity compared this to Le Meurice. Rooms are beautiful and spacious. I requested for a quiet room. They have an indoor pool but I didn’t get to try it. The only disappointment is the impossibility of getting a booking from Shang Palace. You’d think they’ll have a spot for guest hotels but I only found out they’re fully book 1 week before my stay when they sent me a welcome email. Furthermore, though some room service are from Shang palace, the menu is very limited from them. They’re also a little slow in responding to emails.

I am blown away by this hotel. The hotel is immaculate and extremely clean. The staff are so helpful and friendly. Every restuarant recommendation that they gave us was a 10/10. The linen is so crisp and clean. This hotel is complete value for money. I will absolutely be back. What an amazing stay we had. It was an absolute treat to stay at this hotel. We travel very often and only stay at five star hotels and this was the best hotel I have ever stayed at.

Valentine’s weekend Paris

3 night stay for Valentine’s weekend in Paris with my fiancé. Exterior and lobby of the hotel were extremely impressive as was the indoor swimming pool. Very close to Eiffel Tower. All hotel staff were lovely and helpful with any requests. Botaniste bar was very cool and dinner in Shang Palace was good. Room was very average for the price, bathroom was nicer. Breakfast and the gym facility were both terrible and this is where the hotel really failed for me as both are very important wherever I stay.

Great location with a stunning view of the Eiffel Tower. Resort is modern and well maintained with a lot of amenities. Shangri-La Hotel in Paris is spectacular and surpassed our expectations everything was amazing the staff is well informed and genuinely helpful, i have never seen such a staff dedicated to making your stay enjoyable. Now to explain the rooms. Amazing! The beds are large, soft, and smell amazing. The room has space for your luggage and leave the room clutter free. We ordered breakfast and it was delicious my personal favorite is the red fruit plate.

I will return to Shangri-La Hotel in Paris for sure.

My Louis Vuitton wallet was lost in the hotel room. I left it in my suitcase and my suitcase was opened. I reported to the manager and waited for a month. No response or any follow up regarding the issue. Very disappointing.

It was my 6th stay here. So far so nice but suddenly, everything has been changed.

During first breakfast, waiter charged wrong amount so we corrected it. Next day, same waiter charged wrong items again and brought wrong pièces of food. I don't like to \"severe\" vetting the bill but i lost confidence.

Day one, the room was in \"turndown mode\" when we arrived. Next day, they cleaned up the room and made it half turndown mode at 4 pm. Day 3, they missed turndown service. (actually they came, I told them we will go out in 10 minute, but they came back 10:30 pm for the service).

When I asked some room amenity, it took about one hour, so I couldn't sleep because of waiting.

Yes, yes, each thing may be Something trivial. But all together, I lost my interest in the hotel.

Shangri La Paris is a.very beautiful, luxurious and historic hotel. A stay at this hotel should be on every travellers bucket list. Michelin Star restaurants, professional and friendly staff, big rooms for Paris which are most luxurious. Bathrooms are amazing and the indoor pool is incredible all with Eiffel Tower views. This is a very special place indeed think Louis XIV ...was in fact once Napolean's nephews mansion!

Wonderful stay in a beautiful hotel

Wonderful stay at this beautiful hotel, the staff was very friendly and we got the premier room with a king bed and view of the garden and Effie tower. The room decor was very elegant, the room was very spacious with plenty of space for our luggages. There are lots of attentive details that made our stay very comfortable. Breakfast menu had a large selection and the dining room is very quiet and pretty. Just 5-7 minutes walk to Palais Chaillot to see Effile Tower.

This was the best hotel I have ever stayed in. The room (and view of the Eiffel Tower) was perfect in every way and all the staff were extremely helpful and made you feel welcome at all times. I can't recommend this hotel enough and will definitely be returning to a Shangri-la hotel in future.

This hotel is not a true luxury hotel. We paid for an incredible Eiffel Tower suite & not only was the view obstructed but the room was nothing special. The POWER cut off & we had no lights, A/C, or even ability to close the power-operated blinds for an entire day. Front Desk offered no help & often forgot requests made. Concierge rarely can follow through on making reservations. Even the cleaning lady was inconsistent. The entry way is beautiful, but otherwise, this hotel is a basic one at best. If you are going to pay this much, try another hotel for better services.

One of the most excellent small hotels in the world.
Front desk staff / housekeepers / restaurant / gardening / concierge....all have excellent training and run this property to a very high standard.
The room outfitting was superb...wonderful little details from the stationary supplies in the desk to the type of hangers in the closet.
