The staff is wonderful, smiling and welcoming. The interior design is unique. All items are vintage and a souvenir of old movies. There is even the bike of ET flying back to the sky. Every items posted on the wall is a journey back!! Location perfect in the 16th district. I strongly recommend it

I expressed to the staff that our shower was leaking and that it flooded the bathroom and a bit of the carpet. All they did was give us more towels! There is black mold everywhere in the room. The staff hardly spoke English,being a hotel you’d think they would.

Our family vacation was an excellent one. I would like to show my appreciation to the friendly staff.
The hotel is well situated near the Eiffel Tower, the arc of Triumph and shopping places. Our room looks Newley renovated and comfortable.

Fantastic location 5 minute walk to Trocadero 15mins to Arc Du Triomphe! Lots of cafes and restaurants. Hotel reception staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was same each day but adequate. Tiny breakfast room but coped as open 7-10am. Everything feels tiny but our triple room was fine. It was cleaned daily and we could not fault the cleanliness. The decor needs a little tlc in places but everything clean which was fine by me. You really only spend time to sleep as so much to get out and see around the city. Metro was easy to navigate once we got the passes sorted. They are not using paper tickets anymore so you can reload the plastic pass. Also Luckily didn’t see many scammers .. and managed to avoid the ones we did see near Eiffel Tower near trocadero. Wonderful stay and would come back to this property again!

A quirky reception area (think superhero art), good breakfast (hot food as well as pastries, yoghurt etc) and decent sized bedroom. The room is a little tired but clean and has a brilliantly powerful shower that functions much better than it looks. Great option for 3 incl a child if all you want is a place to rest and roam from. Heating meant room got warm, but easy to cool by opening the window. Hotel is close to a small supermarket and parade of budget friendly eats, including a creperie, as well as costlier option. About 15mins walk to the Eiffel Tower and 25 to Arc de Triomphe. Would stay again.

Will go back again one day. Super friendly staff that were very helpful and insightful. Short walk from most things. Area was safe and the bars etc in the close vicinity were all very welcoming. No issues whatsoever. There was a shop on the same road that was open late too. Loved every minute of our stay so much so that we wish we had stayed longer

This was an excellent hotel stay - we stayed during the Olympics. The location is close to many sites -Trocadero, Eiffel Tower, Champs-Elysees, Arc de Triomphe and multiple metro stations. The breakfast is terrific and the staff, especially Autelie, were all very kind, accommodating and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

There were pro and cons to this room. The pros were that it was very convenient to the Eiffel Tower and great cafes. The included breakfast was really well done with good food that fueled us until dinner. The staff was helpful too especially as we were leaving and I was stressing about getting to Orly with my injured husband. They found a cab after all. The cons was room size and lift size . The room was very small and no drawers to keep stuff organized. The bathroom was very small as well and made it difficult to function. I couldn’t figure out the air conditioner so I had to leave the window open at night and it got rather humid. I found a remote the last night I was there but there were no instructions. Overall it wasn’t terrible especially given the cons but if you are expecting even basic space fix isn’t it.

Hotel is below average and should be a 2 star hotel. Receptionist is good and helpful. Breakfast deal can be skipped, they are strict (can’t take to room, and a minute above 10am, they will tell you to leave).

This was the perfect spot to explore Paris. Just a short walk away from the hustle of the touristy area near the Eiffel Tower yet the area is very much alive. Hotel is small and quirky. Breakfast is great! Staff are friendly and extremely helpful. Plenty of hot water and everything is very clean. When you are here you absolutely know that you are in Paris. Walked the area morning and late night and felt very safe. Metro was easy.

This was a great place to rest our heads after long days of site seeing. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They even let us get breakfast early before we departed for the train station. The rooms are on the smaller side, but we didn’t go to Paris to see the hotel room. It’s a convenient walk to the Metro and to see the Eiffel Tower. Lots of dinning options a short walk too.

This is an average hotel. Location is safe & clean. Metro station Trocadero 2-3 blocks away. The hotel is cute, but small & nothing extraordinary. The rooms are small, but have everything you need for a quick stay. There is a small elevator. Breakfast room is tiny with only 4 tables. Come early & be prepared to wait. The AC almost does not cool. I can only imagine how hot it will feel in the summer. We visited early April & had to open the windows. The noise & light from the street made it challenging to sleep & rest. Overall, very average hotel for $250 a night. I'd stay elsewhere with larger rooms & bathrooms, AC that actually cools & ample breakfast space. This place does not have that.

Nice, cozy hotel near Eiffel Tower

Very nice place near the Eiffel Tower. The rooms are small but really cozy and have a French feel to them. The bathroom was tiny but enough to get by. The neighborhood is beautiful with lots of shops, restaurants and bars nearby as well as two subway stations within walking distance. The staff was very helpful and breakfast was great. Would definitely recommend staying here.

The staff is very helpful and friendly and they speak English as well as French. The hotel is compact and the bathroom needed a deep cleaning, and a descaling of the shower head. The breakfast is very simple and the weekday service was far better quality than the weekend, because the food was refreshed and the staff explained everything.

5 mins walk to Trocadero square, which offers amazing view to Eiffel Tower, 15 mins walk to Eiffel Tower, and 15 mins walk to Arch de Triomphe. Absolutely no complaint to the location of the hotel. There are many restaurants and pastry shop options within a few minutes of walk distance. A laundry mat and a convenient mart around the corner is also helpful. The room is clean, beds are comfortable, the bathroom is of decent size, and the room is very small but to be expected. Overall we are very happy of our three nights stay in the hotel.

My friends and i really enjoyed our stay here. The room was really clean and really nice. Everyone who worked there was really helpful and friendly. The room was small, but i knew that when i booked having read the other reviews. We were fine with it, since we knew we would be out exploring. But it was still a great place to come back to at the end of the day.

Also the location was perfect! Super close to the eifel tower and not to far from the arc de triomphe. With metro stops really close by.

This was one of the best places that we had booked as a group. Not even a 10 minute walk to the Tower, and it was easy to get around with an Uber from there. Front desk knows English well, and was super polite! Next time I visit Paris, I will definitely rebook with this location again!

The room I stayed in was small (bed and not much space otherwise), but was more than sufficient as a solo traveler, just keep in mind if traveling in two or more. Room equipped with AC, which was welcomed during the heat wave. No issues with bathroom either. Breakfast was fine as well, decent selection of food and beverage. Great location as it's walking distance to multiple landmarks and public transportation.

One of the gentleman who worked at the front counter, Jude, went above and beyond to help us with all kinds of situations, including translating a telephone conversation in order to get a backpack returned that had been lost and then found in Brussels. He was genuinely friendly and gave us directions, recommendations for places to eat, bus schedules, etc. He made our stay in Paris even better.

Our room was behind the registration desk in a tiny closet. We wondered if they kicked out the maid from her room so they could rent it. Carpet was hideous! Looks like spilled greese, dirt, vomit, poop, and piss. Had to step over toilet to get in shower/tub which was cavelike and had a bit of peeling paint and mold on ceiling in shower, but bathroom otherwise clean, good water pressure, hair dryer and liquid soap that produced good suds. Bed and pillows comfortable. Incuded breakfast which was delicious. Good location for sightseeing.

The staff was more than eager to please you. Frank ,Jude, and Aureilla were very helpful in answering my many questions.My credit card was stolen in Montmarte and Frank and Jude were there to help me in anyway possible to resolve my problem. The hotel is small ,23 rooms, but my room was very clean and quiet. It could use new carpet and paint,but my stay was very pleasant.Bed was very comfortable as well. Little supermarket just a short walk from hotel made it convenient to pick up small snacks. Close to Trocadero Metro Station and Eiffel tower.

This is a great place to stay !!! 5-10 walk from the main Eiffel Tower and 4 min walk from plaza Trocadéro. A lot little shops for yummy food and to experience the day to day living in Paris. The best experience was the helpful staff friendly and always a smile !!!! Anne the receptionist was amazing always trying to help you. She speak 3-4 languages and try her best to orient you around. It is a a little couisy comfy place to stay. Great value !!! The reautarant next door the food is very good the mango passion tiramisu was amazingly delicious.

Diana on front desk was incredibly helpful in booking a tour for me and translating French. I stayed in much more expensive hotels all throughout Europe and Diana and this hotel were the absolute best in terms of customer service. We were also very happy with the beds.

Great location, nice staff. Apparently all Parisian hotel rooms at the 3 and 4 star level are small. This one could have used a little updating since we were paying nearly $300 (290) for one night's stay and breakfast for three. For example, the carpeting needs to be updated, and wall nicks could have been dealt with. It is charming, and provides a good ambiance. Nice flat screen TV, though. Additionally, they did not always bring fresh drinking glasses.

The receiptiohist was a bit surly, the bedroom was compact and clean, but it was near a heating unit that went off every 10 minutes, so this loud gaseous sound would declare itself every 20 minutes. Plus, the room was super hot, the air conditioning unit wasn't wokring well, and the smell of cigarette smoke would waft through the vents during the course of the evening. Between the heating unit, the lack of air flow, and the smokey smell, I was pretty disgusted. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.

Nice base close to Eiffel Tower!

Stayed for my wife’s 30th birthday and it was a pleasant stay. Room was clean and tidy and is a more than ample base to be able to see the sights of Paris. Very close to Eiffel Tower and arc du triumphe and the metro is a short distance 5 minutes walk. We did not have breakfast as the patterisse and local shops sold coffee and pastries for 8-10 euros. Trocadéro is one of the wealthiest parts of Paris and is so beautiful. The hotel is clean tidy and we had no problems at all. The bedding was clean the towels were clean and the bedroom was clean. The shower was powerful and the bathroom was clean also. Staff were friendly and helped a lot with our questions. All in all if you are looking for a decent place to stay and looking to be close to the main tourist areas then this hotel is great. The best way to get to the hotel is via the RER then the metro as it costs 10.30 euros per person per way. Much cheaper than a taxi costing 58 euros per way! Would recommend this hotel to anyone and have recommended to my parents who want to visit Paris soon. Thank you again!

We arrived early and check-in not till 3pm. We were greeted with a smile and our room was ready. Big plus to the hotel. As expected, room was small. This was a girlfriend trip and we managed to move around our little room. Remember, this is Paris. Get out of your Holiday Inn, USA mentality where everything is big including bed bugs. Hotel Etoile is easy to find and perfectly located in the heart of city center Trocadéro on the Right Bank.
Breakfast was included in our stay and it was perfect to start our day. The eggs was cooked to perfection and coffee of your choice divine. I will definitely come back to this hotel again. Staffs are nice and speaks perfect English. Definitely recommending this hotel.
