Unbelievable property first time visiting, would recommend to anyone I will definitely revisiting in the future. Only 1 downside was blood on one of the unused bed sheets that never got changed even though cleaners were in every day. But the rooms were huge especially in the Royal with a large balcony that catches the sun all day long. Beautiful views looking down the valley towards the sea! 15 minutes walk to the beach. And perfect location bang across from the shopping mall and shopping centre which both have loads of food and drinks places.

Nice hotel built into the side of a cliff. It’s clean and well maintained, if a little dated. The rooftop pool is excellent and has lovely views, the bar is also first class and well priced. Rooms are dated, aircon wasn’t working but other than that it was comfy.

We booked this on recommendation from others however we were very disappointed. The apartment is tired and looking old. We stayed on the 2nd floor. Paint was coming off the walls and the shower cubicle was mouldy.
We were also told that no noise could be heard from the main Puerto Rico complex! We doubted this and were correct! It was noisy!
However it's in a good location and the terrace was huge and great for sunbathing on. But the complex is huge, busy and sadly not what we were looking for. Also you have to pay for air conditioning! We won't be staying there again and there are far better properties in the Puerto Rico area for a similar price. It's definitely not as plush as the pictures show!
We even tried the pool area at the Terrazamar and that was noisy too.
Our other concern is that the sunbathing terrace is not very private and other people can jump over onto your terrace as the dividing wall isn't complete, which is worrying from a safety point of view. We even had a woman peering over!! You are looked on from above due to the staggered design of the apartments.

As regular clients of this complex, we had originally booked the Royal apartments back in February using a refund from a cancelled stay in May 2020 but when we arrived in September, the Royal complex was temporarily closed so we were allocated an end of block upper level apartment in the SunSuite apartments instead. We have stayed in the SunSuites before and like them too but you get free TV in the Royals so we asked reception about that and they quickly sorted it out so that we didn't have to pay for it like you normally do staying in the Sunsuites. The one small issue was that the bottom Terrazamar gate was locked until our second week there so we could not use the lower level Terrazamar block lifts to get down to and back from the commercial centre level for the first week. It meant having to use a long flight of steps down the road instead which was difficult for my wife, who has arthritis in her right knee, to cope with. The Royal apartments re-opened the day we left in October. Purely coincidental though.

Second time I have stayed in the sun suites, The apartments are well maintained, fantastic large private balcony with 2 sun beds & table chairs, great to sunbathe in peace !!! Bathroom and bedroom are also a good standard. Kitchen is basic with microwave, fridge/ freezer and 2 ring electric cooker, no oven. Enough for us as we are out a lot !!! Cleaners are friendly and work hard to keep them spotlessly clean. Reception staff are always kind and willing to help. I love the place hence we returned !!! Would definitely recommend.

Good location and lovely big balconies, have stayed here many times so apartment exactly what I was expecting. Clean, friendly, welcoming staff and in a great location for all day sun on your own balcony. Only down side was the suites part of the hotel was closed for refurbishment so there was no access to the lift to get down to the CC...bit of a hike with a toddler and shopping. Otherwise everything else was spot on as usual. Back in December 👍

Our stay was good as the rooms and balcony are very spacious and relaxing. The only problem we had was on checking in we asked if there was air con in room told yes. Not told we had to pay 6 euro per day. Also asked if tv remote in room again told yes. was not told had to purchase card from machine to watch. Hence we were back and forwards to reception. The worst thing was lack of sunbeds as due to Spanish holiday pool was packed with locals and no sunbeds on day of arrival . Second day there was plenty available.

We booked in for 1 night at the end of a holiday in another place. The room we were given was really tired and in need of complete renovation. The plastic table outside had been melted at some point by maybe a pan and needed throwing away. There were broken, loose floor tiles in the bathroom, the inner frames had sharp veneer peeling off them and the air conditioning kept turning itself off and not coming back on when the room warmed up so the room was really hot and the €6 a day charge for the a/c was a waste of money.

good stay....but???

our 3rd stay at the terrazamar and probably the worse, we had a good stay but will not come again over easter. on our 2nd weeks stay we had to wear blue wristband's because a lot of local's/spanish holiday in the resort and what they tend to do is use the pool although they are not even stopping there and also they let there friends/family stop in the rooms, rent free! this goes on all over puerto rico. next door to us over 3 days there was a large family, they were very noisy, dragged all the furniture onto the balcony and when they vacated just left it there! we love the terrazamar and will certainly stay here again but not over easter and i believe august.

They have upgraded the apartments in the past year and this has certainly enhanced the visitor experience. Ideally situated being very close to the main commercial centre but still in a very quiet location

Location is very good and the room is spacious and clean, but the patio was untidy and the parasol was broken. We had building work going on in front of us ( not the hotels fault ) but they could have cleaned the patio and sun beds before we checked in. We stayed here last year and paid 40% less and then it felt a value for money experience. This year the substantially higher price made us feel we did not get value for money.

This hotel is amazing. The balcony is to die for. Huge with a nice patio set and sun loungers to relax on. Artificial grass covers the balcony. The apartment is a good size too. Separate bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and living area. All of a good size. Kitchen has a full fridge freezer which i like. Fan in living area and aircon in bedroom. Location is great. Out back/bottom gate and commercial centre is right there. I'd highly recommend this hotel to anyone. I love it

Fantastic hotel - our only choice in Puerto Rico!

Having just stayed here for two weeks for the third year in a row, I have to say this is likely the only hotel in Puerto Rico we’ll ever stay in! Okay, so it’s not a 5-star property, but we don’t want that stuffiness while on holiday. The location is perfect (not too far up the valley, but far enough for peaceful evenings), the staff are friendly and attentive. The hotel is very well priced and acknowledges returning customers. Rooms have recently been completely refreshed, with new furniture, fully-equipped kitchens. Ceiling fan in the lounge, and optional aircon in the bedrooms. But the best part is the HUGE balconies, which get the sun all day! These have also been newly-furnished, including with artificial grass which is a nice touch. This hotel is amazing value for money, we highly recommended it!

Nice hotel with brilliant astro turfed balcony that my 2 kids 2 and 7 loved. Say in the sun suites couldn't fault it at all especially for the price we paid, lifts in the hotel wasn't the greatest always 1 or 2 out of service, hotel located near commercial centre where there are some gr8 restaurants but starting to look a little dated now, hotel wasn't much of a kids club or entertainment but as a base with massive balcony and lovely big pool a gr8 hotel if staying in puerto rico. Will probably be back!!

very disappointed sent email to request air con offered to pay extra never acknowledged my request 11 days of constant jack hammers and construction traffic dust and noise from 7am till 7pm had i known i would have booked somewhere else have posted this on trip advisor to avoid this area as this is on going for a few years at least and people should avoid this area as an operator it is your duty to inform your clients about this you should also be made aware of this and pass this to any future clients so as not to disappoint them

Great hotel. Central to commercial centre. 2 mins out bottom gate and you're at the shops and bars. 20 mins nice walk to the beach.apartments are lovely. Very clean and in nice condition. This is my fourth stay here and it is great, central to resort centre no taxis required. Rooms spotless and spacious. Big balcony if you don’t fancy the pool loungers on balcony too. Pool area lovely. All staff very friendly and you are made to feel very welcome. Hotel shop and bar reasonable prices, good wi-if, and we paid for air con as very hot 35c during the day in early October

The hotel, breakfast and pool were really good. I would strongly advise visitors to avoid booking any trips via the Thomas Cook rep at the hotel. We booked a trip that did not happen - we were left standing waiting for an hour to be picked up from a location 20 minutes away from the hotel. Complaining to the rep about this experience (which effectively ruined a day of our holiday) was like water off a duck's back.

We checked-in at 11pm and found cockroaches inside the room as well as outside in the corridor. The room was also on the lowest level and had no views from the terrace, We asked to be moved and were told several things (a)'cockroaches are quite normal - nothing to worry about', (b) 'we can move you but there will be an extra charge' - which we said okay to.(c) 'we can't move you until the next day as the rooms that are available have not been cleaned and its too late to get them cleaned', (d) 'we are fully booked now and can't move you as we've just sold the last free rooms, Come back in the morning at 9.30 and you will be moved.' We were back at 9.30am the next day and was then told 'no can do, we don't have any arrangements to clean the room as we had only planned to do four moves today, and we can't do any more. Come back tomorrow morning'. We finally got moved on Day 3 of 7, and the additional charge was waived. The new room we were moved to in the Sun Suites had a decent view from the terrace, but the bathroom was quite tired. On one of the mornings we tried to print a tour voucher using the pay-as-you go booth in the lobby. The machine took money but failed to print, we were asked to forward the email to the hotel email address for the voucher to be oriented by reception. After quite a while waiting they could not print either. We were then sent to the Terrazamar Lobby to collect over there...over 45minutes for a 5 min task. Less than average experience in all.

Good location

Good location near the top shopping centre which has lots of bars and restaurants, and only a 20 minute walk to the harbour. Not too far up the hill so not a massive climb up steps. Lift in hotel between floors. Good size swimming pool. Beds very comfortable. Kitchen and bathroom are all you need for a holiday. Could do with a little upgrading but clean, just starting to get a little old in a couple of places, but fine really.

It's advertised on Expedia site as having a fan in the room with air con payable locally. There was no option for air con and the room was warm at night as the fan didn't make a massive different which made it a little uncomfortable.

Good location for catching the sun from early in the day. Private terrace with sun loungers were excellent. Easy access through the hotel and down to the back of the commercial centre, saved tackling the hills all the time especially with a baby/pushchair.

Great accommodation in the heart of Puerto Rico

A great place to stay. The accommodation is clean and spacious, with the most amazing sun terrace. There is a choice of two pools, both with a poolside bar offering a choice of snacks and refreshments. It's a 20 minute walk to the beach and a 10-15 minute walk to the bus station.
We would definitely recommend Servatur Terrazemar Sun Suites and would love to come back and stay here again.

Excellent Hotel, polite and helpful staff, rooms very clean and spacious with huge balconies. Only 10 to 15 minute stroll to shops bars and beach 10/10

Amazing

Great hotel. 5 minutes walk from the strip. Shop and cafe in reception.. Cafe had the best bakery. Staff were friendly and helpful. Huge balcony on every floor but in my opinion floor 9 is the best because it's closest to the beach an has the best views. Floor 6 has biggest balconys. Elevators were a bit dated, but acceptable. Hotel wifi worked sometimes, sometimes it didn't. Air con was great. Rooms were practical. Everything was supplied in the kitchen. Large flat screen TV with CNN CNBC and some other English speaking channels (extra charge tho). Close to the bus stop.

Overall it's a great hotel and when i go to gran canaria again, I'm 100% staying here.

Utrolig bra bosted. Stor leilighet og stor terasse. Rent og ryddig. Flott poolområde. Bra renhold. Kan absolutt anbefales og vi kommer gjerne tilbake.

We have stayed at +10 places with kids, from infant age to young teens, this is the only hotel we have repeatedly returned to. It was s down to its strength;Roma have a large sun terass, family friendly, heated and nicely located pool away from the buzz, still Mogán mall and that buzz in only a few minutes away. We prefer the upper section, properly overviewing the Puerto Rico valley with decent glimpses of the sea, we will return!

Fin beliggenhet med nærhet til sentrum. Mulig å ta heis ned til bakkenivå like ved det nye shoppingsenteret. Kjøkkenet er utstyrt med det man trenger om man selv vil lage mat. Gode madrasser. Stort, egen terrasse med solsenger og badekar. Egne slåbrok og store håndklær. 3 forskjellige bassengområder på hotellet. Litt slitt på bad & fellesområder (toalett /dusjrom ved basseng) . Utrolig hyggelige ansatte 👍 Veldig stille på hotellet selv om det ligger nært sentrum. Gratis parkering i gata eller garasje . Vi vil garantert bo der igjen 😁
