Emailed numerous times prior to arrival but got no response. On arrival at the accommodation I was greeted with numerous bags of rubbish outside my apartment, which never got moved for 3 days. The water in the apartment wasn’t running I got advised from to use my families room who had 4 people in it. With very little running water. To use the shower you had to hold the shower head as the clip to at held the shower head in was very loose… No air conditioning in my room, but know some other ones I’ve stayed in had air conditioning. Pool clean. No sun loungers on balcony but other family members did.

When i got to there apartment i was told there was no booking it had been cancelled this was all over the phone number provided on the door of a so called reception . Even though i had my booking on my phone , the phone number is for the Nido del Aquila hotel , I then got in a taxi to the Nido to show the reception my booking,

The location is perfect ,just across the road from the main commercial center.The staff were great especially Juan who ran the pool bar but unfortunately the apartment was dirty and shabby, lights were hanging off the wall, the shower screen was cracked, the bathroom smelt like a dirty drain,we had a leak through the ceiling in the kitchen from the shower above which was fixed but took me ages to get in touch with somebody because reception was never open and didn’t advertise opening times or a contact number. Our bedding wasn’t change at all during our 7 night stay in sweltering heat but towels were changed about 5 times!!!
We had 1st stayed here in 2018 and it was perfect then, hence why we thought we’d try it again but it has definitely gone downhill.

Wow... checking in was quick and easy by a lovely guy... apartment was fantastic.. above and beyond what we expected.. downstairs loo.. fully equiped kitchen and spacious lounge with large tv, although we never used it. Balcony was large with table , 5 chairs and a handy clothes drying rack.
Upstairs were 2 bedrooms and a bathroom with large shower. Everything was immaculate. Beds were lovely and comfy.. we couldnt have asked for more.
There was a welcome pack of washing up liquid cloth and sponge.. large bottle of water.. and liquid soap in the bathroom.
Would definately go back to these apartments.. the only downside, if in fact there is one.. is that you can hear the noise from the centre across the road.. however with the doors and windows closed you struggled to hear it and it didnt bother us at all.. in fact its location saved us at least €5 per day in not having to use a taxi to get back fo the apartment... most are located at the top of quite steep roads..

Enjoyable time at Monte Carlo Apartments
Always enjoy my stay at Monte Carlo Apartments. Friendly and helpful staff. Apartment is typical Spanish decor but has all that is needed. No air conditioning but not always needed. I have stayed there for the past three years and have always been happy there. The location is very close to the entertainment centre on the flat which saves on taxis or long walks up the hill.

On arrival the recpetionist was great and really helpful. We went on vacation with our friends but had booked separately, so they were very accommodating in putting our apartments next to each other.

The only issue we have with the whole apartment is that when we went to the pool, there was a ball in the water. The four boys (12,12,9,9) all went to play with the ball and within two minutes we had a man (owner? manager?) yelling at us \"NO BALLS!!!\" pointing to the signs and literally having a go at the kids and us. We were shocked as it was their ball, no one else around the pool.

The hotel is directly across from the busiest part of Puerto Rico resort. So be prepared for noise until 4am. But if you are ok with noise then it is fine.
If the pool hadn't been such an issue I would have rated this apartment much higher, but the way we were treated (with a ball that was already there) was appalling. We spent 0 days around the pool. I wouldn't rate this a family hotel if you want to use the pool. If you aren't fussed then it's great.

Exceptionally clean and wonderful staff. Basic, but what do you expect for the money! Across the road from all the bars and restaurants, great if that's your thing, but elvis impersonators until 4am does get boring after a while. Would we go back, yep but not in high season as I think the noise from the commercial centre across the road would be too much, but off season it's OK and as I said the apartments are exceptionally clean and presentable and a bargain.

Friendly welcome in the thick of Puerto Rico
Just be sure you want to stay in the thick of Puerto Rico and these apartments will suit you. Staff were charming and welcoming. Good value but the apartments are adjacent to a busy street and a commercial development so there's potential for a lot of noise. Their best apartments are the ones set back from the street. Nice pool. Over Easter weekend all parking slots at the hotel were taken.

Enkelt og greit hotell som ligger meget sentralt ved kjøpesenteret.
Rommet vårt hadde ett stort bad med toalett oppe mellom de 2 soverommene, og ett lite bad, med toalett nede, ved uitgangen.
På grunn av sen ankomst var ikke resepsjonen bemannet, men vi hadde på forhånd fått oppgitt at vi skulle ringe nummeret på resepsjonen.
Da vi gjorde det, fikk vi vite vårt romnummer og nummeret til en nøkkelboks som var montert ved døren.
Problem Fritt dette, og så gikk vi bare i resepsjonen dagen etter og betalte.
Servicen både i resepsjon og ikke minst ved hotellets basseng bar, var uovertruffen, og maten i basseng bar kan anbefales.
Her tok vi frokost og lunsj.
Nøkkel til parkeringen får du i resepsjonen, men du kan helt sikkert også få lagt den i nøkkelboksen om du ankommer utenom åpningstidene :-)
Vi var fornøyde, og vi kommer nok til å benytte dette hotellet flere ganger :-)

Montecarlos is a little bit old, but good price. Just over the street for shoppincenter with loud music. 1 floor is with the main street, we stay 2 floor its better. Blankets in bed to thin, freezing in winter time. Sun at terrace only some hours at afternoon. Pool area with nice pool bar is great. Hotel is close to everything, but not stay if you want it quiet.
