The hotel was very run down, with broken and dirty furniture. The dinner was not a proper buffet, but a very limited à la carte offering. Overall, the property is nowhere near the advertised 4-star standard.

Outstanding from start to finish. Great communication with hotel. Private transfer arranged by hotel for 65Eur. Warm welcome and clearly explained everything we needed to know at check in. The Junior Suite (high large balcony) was amazing. Very clean, had joined twin beds, nice seating area and kitchenette. The balcony made it extra special, amazing views, jacuzzi bath and sun loungers. The winter sun blazed on the balcony from midday to 5pm. We booked half board and there was a great selection of buffet and also a la carte for dinner. We were there for NYE where the hotel put on a 5 course gala dinner (with lots of wine too). It was such a nice way to celebrate. We used the spa once too, you have to book as it is quite small, but we were lucky and had it all to ourselves. It is a little dated but was nice to relax. All staff were so friendly and helpful. We rarely go back to the same hotel but we will certainly be booking here again for summer!

Excellent stay, thank you. Rooms were comfortable and spacious but could do with a little upgrade, particularly the bathrooms. We had superior rooms with a spa bath on the balcony which was lovely and would recommend. Bar and breakfast staff excellent, so responsive, however we did report an issue to reception at least twice with one of the room toilets which was not sorted when we left, this was disappointing. Finally, take advantage of the spa, had a brilliant massage. We would definitely return.

The breakfast was delightful, and the area has good public transport links with plenty of things to do nearby. The staff were so nice and lovely, which made the stay even better. The only downside was the number of stairs to reach the hotel but aside from that, everything was perfect

Rooms were nice and spacious staff were friendly, breakfast was really good enjoyed the cava with breakfast too, didnt have the room with the hot tub we had booked when we arrived but the room we were put into was identical only had a smaller balcony no hot tub or sun loungers and we were moved to our proper room 11.30 next morning, they gave is free evening meal with a drink as compensation, the negatives were a bit of entertainment at night would be nice, also i think the 3oclock check in is a bit late as the flights from edinburgh arrive early morning and we had to potter around for a few hours with our bags before we could go to the hotel to check in

Overall good stay except for the really bad shower area in the bathroom, not just the dirty looking floor but the shower head itself is extremely old and does not function properly. This was on room 307 which was offered to us as an upgrade mentioning the room we booked was not available due to hotel being fully booked.

The air conditioning was absolutely amazing staying at other hotels in the area with only a fan to cool down this was outstanding. Used the rooftop terrace every day to sunbathe this was always spotless and sun beds all tidy and in good condition

The hotel was gorgeous, clean and exactly like the photos. Not a huge fan of saltwater pools. Super salty. The food in the hotel was shocking. The breakfast was fine but we got room service one night and it was horrendous. How can you get chips so wrong. They were black. Overall i would absolutely stay again but only as a b&b guest.

Fabulous hotel, with very friendly staff. Reception staff were particularly helpful. Location is excellent, short walk downhill or down steps to the commercial centre... very doable. 10/15 min walk to beach. Booked a junior superior suite, with loungers on balcony... very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

Great hotel close to centre of Puerto Rico

Spent a week here in August and had a great time. Hotel has a great location very close to centre as long as you don't mind climbing steps to get back up to the hotel after a night out! Staff very friendly, especially Raphael at reception and Jose in bar/restaurant. Room on first floor was ideal with the patio leading directly onto the sundeck. Well-equipped room with nice kitchen area and great walk-in shower.

This is our second visit to the Casablanca and they've upscaled the facilities, putting in an evening rooftop bar into the solarium/sundeck. There is also 'happy hour' between 12 and 1 and between 5 and 6 with a 2 for 1 offer. Brilliant! Great pool bar if you like lounging by the pool or the sundeck. Pool towels are provided in room on arrival.

We really enjoyed our stay and will certainly be back.

Had read up on the hotel prior to booking. Great reviews which turned out to be spot on. On arrival we were given a glass of bubbly, which was a nice touch. Stayed here for a week with my daughter, we were delighted with the hotel and the facilities our room was spacious we stayed in the junior suite and room was cleaned daily to a high standard.
The breakfast was plentiful with a variety of foods to chose from and was delicious.There is a rooftop bar which was really beautiful where we had cocktails on the first night.
Pool was nice and clean and was cleaned daily, there was also a hot tub to relax in.
The main strip was about 5 mins walk from the hotel via 160 steps which was fine to go down but a bit of a climb back up which i managed, just about lol.
Overall, I recommend the Casablanca and would return without a shadow of a doubt, you wont be disappointed.One tip a must is to visit Minanas restaurant just 200 yards from hotel went there on our last night and the food was divine our best meal all week.

We had a terrible incident the first night we arrived. The bus driver dropped us at the wrong spot and our bag containing goods worth over a €1000 were still on bus! We panicked and jumped off bus because driver said this was it! We had to get a Taxi to hotel then and when we eventually got to hotel we were devastated! The girl at reception was nice but spoke very bad English and was more worried about getting paid for Hotel!! We stayed 10 nights B&B
We told the Hotel this was our 30th Anniversary Holiday and we were charged for our champagne on the morning of our anniversary. We travel quite a lot and have had a lot better service than this. The shower kept overflowing and there was holes in the roof!! The Bar Staff and cleaners were very nice! But this Hotel is not a 4 star rating. I never complain but we met other people at Hotel and they paid less than us an got a larger room!! The jacuzzi was filthy as there was scum floating in it when I went to get in. This is not acceptable for a 4 star hotel. Staff need to be able to speak fluent English. We didn’t retrieve our bag because the staff were not equipped to handle the situation. Photographs are very misleading of the Hotel!!

Loved the hotel. Room was large, modern and clean. Little kitchen, big shower. Loved the spa bath on the balcony. However the hotel is close to a very tacky resort. You need to walk down to the beach/harbor to find some nicer restaurants.

After taking time to research into where we wanted to stay for our 20th wedding anniversary we were really looking forward to our stay. 4th time to Puerto Rico but 1st time as a couple and to find an adults only with a spa, bar and restaurant complex all boxes ticked.

On arrival we went to check in to be told there was an error with our booking and we would not be staying there? Confused & tired and with no further explanation we get given a piece of paper with the name of another complex written on it. The receptionist did not offer a taxi nor the money to pay for it. We were told we could come back with a receipt & they would reimburse us, disgusting.

I want answers as to how this has happened and why I did not know until arriving? Why was there no letter of apology waiting at reception? No offer of compensation for the inconvenience.

I will wait to hear your response and the hotel's in due course.

Lovely hotel which we stayed Self Catering, speaking to fellow guests the food wasn't up to much so i'd recommend stick with Self Catering! Cleaned daily and decent size balcony. Lovely cocktails at the pool bar and plenty of available beds when we went - Start October. WiFi was excellent, only 2 devices per room though.

It's a 3 euro cab ride to the harbour in Puerto Rico or a 20 minute walk.
Its a short walk to the shopping centre, down 165 steps.
Going down is easy, plenty of taxis to bring you back up if you don't fancy the 165 steps back up ..

Big room with lots of space for all things you brought with you and gathered over the time you've stayed 🙂 With a spacious terrace with sun loungers and your own jacuzzi. Food was amazing and presentation of it would exceed presentation of food in expensive restaurants. Staff were friendly and very well mannered. Would we go back? Oh yes, if it was possible we would be already on our way 🙂

Fabulous hotel, even though, on arrival, we were sent to their sister hotel as our room had problems with the plumbing!!! They paid for a taxi there and back, when we returned the next day, they upgraded us to a superb premium room, with a terrace jacuzzi, put a bottle of Prosecco in the fridge and gave us a free Spa and massage day. Can't complain! The hotel was spotless and the facilities excellent. All the staff were very friendly and professional

Fantastic views over the bay

Having stayed end June / beginning July we had fantastic weather with amazing views of the bay and had a junior suite with a jacuzzi on the balcony. This is a great option and well worth it. The beds were the most comfortable I've ever had in a hotel and I've stayed in plenty!! Can't recommend this place enough for a self catering holiday, thoroughly enjoyed it and will be going back soon! There are a lot of steps down to the town, and seems like even more coming back up!! If you can't manage them though it is only about €2.50 euros for a taxi from town to the hotel.

Relaxing Holiday with excellent rooms

Very nice hotel, really modern and well looked after. We loved our room, it had everything we needed (Kitchen, comfy beds, nice shower) and because we booked a superior room we had a lovely balcony with 2 sunbeds, table and chairs and jacuzzi. The jacuzzi was amazing, great for cooling off during the day. Breakfast was better than expected with fresh coffee and juices (real juice not from concentrate) it did get a bit samey after a week but it set us up for the day. Food at the pool bar was nice too. The only thing we thought was lacking was the area itself, there were lots of bars and restaurants but we found them a bit tacky unfortunately.

Would definitely recommend anyone to go to this hotel. Staff were very helpful, good facilities, rooms were lovely! We had a Jacuzzi on the balcony. Loved it. Only downside (for some people) is there are 170 steps to get up and down from the hotel to the restaurants below.

Lovely staff, hotel stay a bit of a let down

Bit disappointed in our stay in October. We were hoping for a 'wow' holiday and although all the staff were excellent, there were several point which let the hotel down. Breakfast was pretty average (poor for a vegetarian, with little hot food options), The roof top terrace has no Jacuzzi and the Jacuzzi downstairs at the pool doesn't work properly (with jets only at one side). The jucuzzi bath on the terrace of our room was ok, but not that big and in shade. On the plus side the cocktail happy hour is excellent, wifi was great (although not sure why the limit it to 2 devices), room cleaning was regular and thorough. However we paid quite a lot of money to choose this location against others we have stayed previous in Puerto Rico and didn't feel this hotel merited this rate.

Awesome hotel with great facilities.

I stayed in this hotel for 5days. This hotel is clean, staff are very helpful and friendly, walking distance to the closest beach was about 10-15mins. They have great facilities, a lovely outdoor pool which was also clean and loads of sunbeds to relax and the hotel bar next to it aswell. Had a lovely jacuzzi on the balcony which i enjoyed using, you get to see the view from above too. Have really enjoyed my stay at Servatur Casablanca and definitely would be coming back again. On our last day, we got to use the courtesy room after check out which meant that we could still use the pool and sunbathe before we depart. Absolutely fantastic.

We were there for 6 days. The hotel was nice and located very close to the Puerto Rico beach. The only (main) problem that we faced was not refilling bath stuff such as body milk and shampoo which made some difficulties for us.

Well worth it's 4 star rating. Lovely clean reception, pool and public areas, bedrooms are modern, spacious, great kitchen area, daily maid service. Location is spot on - close enough to all the centre attractions to explore on foot, far enough away to enjoy the nightlife without too much noise. Many great bars and restaurants in the main centre, we found Da Pinocchio great value and along the beach Oscars great for a special meal, a little bit dearer but delicious food and fab service.

Stayed here for a week. Had read other reviews and thought it would be good. It wasn't it was GREAT. the room was amazing. Very spacious as was the balcony which had a jacuzzi on it. The bathroom was huge too. The hotel was really clean and the staff were amazing. So helpful.
The fact that it's adults only is a huge plus and made it more relaxing.
Yes it is 160 or so steps to town but it's only a 2.50 taxi ride so if you don't want to walk then don't.

Lovely modern suite hotel, but too far out

Overall we enjoyed our week at the hotel, it was nice and relaxing. Regarding the Spa, we were unable to use either sauna & steam as both were out of order but Massage therapist was great. Puerto Rico itself was very disappointing and lacking in atmosphere. We walked to Amadores Beach most days or caught the ferry boat to Mogan, both had a much nicer vibe. Unable to find any evening entertainment at all; no hotels close by to wander into, so it was a bit isolating in that sense and probably why we wouldn't want to return in the future. It's a shame the location lets the hotel down.

We would recommend these excellent apartments to anyone who wants to stay in Puerto Rico. We thought they were in Mogan (from the address) but couldn't fault the quality and standard. Pity they weren't in Mogan!

Overall, just brilliant,

I only booked the hotel 2 days before arriving and could not have asked for more from the staff and hotel. Me & my sister spent a fantastic 5 days at the Casablanca from 12th till 17th of April 2014. We were very impressed with everything especially the lovely big corner balcony where we enjoyed a glass of wine whilst admiring the spectacular views from floor 8. Many thanks to all the Hotel Staff and I can guarantee we'll be back soon.

Everything was wonderful except the pillows in the bed.. they were terrible, they had seen there best days and they give me neck restraint. So i was force to buy a pillow on my own. But everything else was perfect! And i will be back.

• Billigt i poolbaren/restaurangen
• Förvaringsmöjligheterna på rummet
• Balkongen! Boka rum på sidan närmast havet (våning 6 och uppåt) med spabad där ute
• Fin takterrass på våning 9, öppet till 00:30
• Jättefint rum, sköna sängar (två enkelsängar ihopskjutna, värt att veta som par!), lyxig känsla
• Otrolig solnedgång och natthimmel
• Det tar bara några minuter att gå ned då det finns en trappa raka vägen ned till centrum precis vid hotellet
• Bra mat/frukost
• Hjälpsam personal

• Möblerna hade varit med ett tag, skulle behöva uppdateras
• Lite slarvig städning, detaljerna saknades
• Sista natten upptäcktes en den kackerlackor, men det är ju så på ön
• En bit till havet utan bil eller cykel

Helheten är jättebra! Vacker utsikt, fint och stort rum och spabadet på den stora balkongen var underbar! Dock är det värt att vara lite högre upp i huset, på sidan med bättre havsutsikt, mycket på grund av närheten till poolen (en del insyn), men absolut mest för utsikten. Superior juniorsvit med havsutsikt, och be om våning 6 eller högre 🌸

Over all a nice experience, but for the price we expected a bit more. That’s why I can’t give the full 5 stars. 4 stars is still good though :)

The staff was friendly and helpful, the food was very good, the beds were comfy and room was clean. Lovely views and a short walk to the mall with lots of shopping, bars and restaurants.

However it felt a bit shabby nad due for an upgrade. We stayed in a junior suite and there were rust in the bathroom and the jacuzzi almost fell apart. There were no amenities in the bathroom as I would expect for a hotel of this price. I’ve stayed at hotels with lower stars and always gotten travel sizes with shower gel and shampoo, shower cap, cotton and q-tips and more. Small things, but it still elevates the impression. At this price I would expect this.
