Very nice apartment unit. Close to everything. Front desk staff super friendly but it was not available for 24 hours which was a bit inconvenient. I booked a non-smoking room but the unit had very strong smoke smell when We first got in. It was obvious that the previous customer smoked! It was terrible, we had to open all the windows for a long time to get rid of the smoke smell. We couldn’t get a different room because we were told that was the last one available.

The Suites Gran Via is well situated to walk to many of the major sites in Granada: the Cathedral and Royal Chapel, the Albaicin area, and the Alhambra. Our room was clean and we really liked how dark it was at night when we closed the shutters. The bed was comfortable and the shower had good pressure. However there were a series of small issues that diminished our experience: the cooktop shut off if we tried to use both burners at once so we could only use one at a time. The fan over the cook top didn’t work. There was a pod-type coffee machine but we were only provided 2 pods for a 4-night stay for 2 people. We were to receive a bottle of wine with our stay but had to ask twice before we received it. Our toilet paper was never replaced (used the last bit just before we checked out). There was no hand soap in the bathroom so we had to step into the shower to get soap from the dispenser when we wanted to wash our hands. And when we arrived the room had a very strong air freshener scent that did not dissipate till the next day. Nothing major but just small things that were annoying. But the location was so good that it made up for these things - almost. Supermercado and the Mercado San Augustin are close by, as well as a great little bodega with generous tapas directly across the street.

Grrat location and spacious suite.

A great location and spaciois suite. Comfy bed and pillows. Fabulous shower. The only bad thing was the overpowering smell of floor/furniture polish. It gave me a terrible headache. Also there's no soundproofing as stated. Reception staff were very friendly.

As a Gold member that booked a VIP Access property, I was to receive a Gold Exclusive of 1 Free bottle of wine per stay, which I was never offered, but the last day I reminded them of it and explained that since I don't drink alcohol, that I would accept juice in its place, which they refused. All the could offer me was water. How is water even remotely close to replacing the value of a wine bottle? Very disappointed. I also booked an additional day as a Gold member, and guess what? Still no offering of the Free Wine bottle, not even water.

This hotel was a life saver! Myself and my friend originally booked a hotel in a different place and had to change hotels at the last minute. The Suites Gran Via 44 had an open room so we took it, and we were not disappointed! The staff were very friendly and the accommodations were very well cleaned. The room was nicely sized with a small kitchen, dinning table, medium size bedroom, and medium sized bathroom. The room overall was very nice and clean.Will defiantly be staying here again!!❤️

Very convenient for major attractions and very close to numerous bus routes. In spite of being on a major road it was very quiet. The apartment was very spacious. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. It was nicely decorated.

Very dated and dark apartment. You can hear outside.
As soon as you entered, the apartment smelled awful, not sure if it is because the apartment was on the first floor. The bed was also uncomfortable. They leave used dishwasher sponges. The only good thing was the lady who checked us in who was very friendly.

Fantastic stay! Check in was easy as I had filled out the forms ahead of time. Communication with the staff was also quite good. They responded quickly via Whatsapp and the check in staff was nice. Room was also very comfortable and had everything I needed. The internet connection was a little slow (5 mbps upload, 1 mbps download) but it was enough to complete a Zoom class without problems.

We arrived later than 7pm when there was no receptionist so we received instructions to access the hotel. The instructions were initially provided in Spanish through Expedia which I had to translate. As part of that process, we also had a portal where we had to fill in some information and the bank details which didn't work so I had to contact the receptionist. Luckily Maria replied really promptly either else I would have to worry about whether we were allowed access to building.

We only realised after the trip that there was mention about breakfast across the street at a bodega, but it doesn't mention whether it was complementary or not.

Overall the space is really practical and we stayed in a suite with one bedroom, bathroom with great water pressure rain shower, living room with open plan kitchen. It's a bit of a mystery where we would hear water dripping sounds at night because it got so quiet.

It's situated on the main street of Granada. You can't beat the convenience as everything was practically on your doorstep including buses, 20-25 mins walk to Alhambra, food choices are ample and all the other well-known landmarks are within 5-15 mins walk.

The apartment was spacious, well equipped, and very comfortable. The pillows were, in particular, spectacular! This was an excellent value for the money, and I would have been happy spending much more time there.

The front desk's hours are unfortunately very limited, but the self-check-in system using the lock box in the lobby worked well. The mobile check-in and mobile key were buggy, so I would skip that next time and just use the lock-box.

The staff were friendly and helpful by email and during the time they were on site.

Great place in a great location!! The man who checked us in was so friendly and helpful and spoke English. He suggested a great flamenco show and we bought tickets from him. He gave us a map and told us how to get around and great things to see. Room was very clean and beds were comfy. There is a room on the bottom floor with coffees and teas and pastries. Al Hambra is within walking distance but all uphill. We took a taxi there and walked back. Again the location couldn’t be better and we would definitely stay here again. There are amazing shawarma places a block behind too!!

We enjoyed our spacious, clean and well-appointed one bedroom suite. The staff were very helpful - providing orientation upon arrival and recommendations about local sites and restaurants. Although our apartment faced on the busy Gran Via, it was very quiet. There is bus service on the Gran Via, but most attractions (other than the Alhambra) are but a short walk.

We were pleasantly pleased with this place. Upon arrival, even we were early the room was ready for us. We booked superior unit for 2 adults. The staff were very friendly and polite. Our unit is facing the main street with 2 Europian balcony windows in the bed room. We had a lovely separate living dining area with an open kitchenette. Location of this place was very convenient- airport bus & city buses were right outside few steps up or down. Walking distance to many places to shop, visits, eat and with a small grocery store close by. You will hear the street traffics but we didn’t mind too much. I think updating completed cookware and to provide paper towels & Kleenex can be a plus. We definitely recommend and would book this place again.

The suite was spacious, comfortable and clean but we had to change rooms because of a horrible odor. The hotel was accommodating and changed our room. However, there was still somewhat of that odor in the new room, which was on another floor. Perhaps there was a temporary sewage or plumbing problem. The staff was very nice and helpful. The free walking tour (although tipping was encouraged) was great.

If you like noise and graffiti, this is for you.

A large residence converted into a hotel in 2005. Not a penny reinvested. Dated furnishing, very noisy, in a part of town ten minutes from the center, but certainly in the wrong direction. Graffiti filled area with noise all night from local clubs that never close. Groups of young men outside in the alleys from dusk to dawn. What are they doing besides making noise? My rating is generous. There are two separate rooms, although the sitting room had a pull out bed that was very, very uncomfortable, Sometimes there is staff, sometimes not. It's best quality is the price. At $125 per night for a two room suite - warning bells should be ringing.

We arrived by car and the gentleman from the front desk helped us back the car into the tight parking space. Unfortunately we had to wait for two extra hours to check in because the water heater was not working. However the staff were very apologetic and we checked into the room at the promised time.

We had a two bedroom one bathroom apartment. When we booked it was not clear how many bathrooms there were and it would have saved time in the mornings to have two bathrooms. The breakfast was included in the rate and included bread, croissant, pan au chocolate, hard boiled egg, yoghurt, orange juice and tea/coffee. Decent breakfast and delivered to our room at the requested time.

Wonderful Hotel Suite

Very comfortable bed, A/C and cute bathroom and kitchen area. Modern Decor and located in the heart of the city. We loved our stay here and were happy that it also had an elevator since we all had large suitcases with us. Great cafes just across the street and within walking distance to many locations in Granada. Great customer service too-we were looking for the hotel and were lost so the front desk woman actually walked down the street to find us and have us follow her back to the hotel!! We will definitely return if back in Granada.

We stayed just for 1 night to visit the Alhambras driving in from Seville. We are from the US so missed the signs on the entry of the main road which prohibited private cars. The hotel staff was very helpful to manage the situation and also help us with parking. Our room was modern, clean and with a pull out bed for the 3rd or 4th person to sleep. Shopping and dining is close but you have to take a cab or a mini bus for the Alhambras. Amazing place

The hotel is very cozy and comfortable. It is very quiet also. The lobby has a fountain in the middle which makes the atmosphere amazing. The rooms are good size and clean. The staff are nice and very helpful. The only thing that all hotels usually give complementary water, at least for the first night except this one.

The location is central and within walking distance of all landmarks but also accessible by taxi as it is on the main road. We did not have any problems with noise due to shutters. We had a two bedroom suite which was well furnished with an excellent shower room and very comfortable beds. Housekeeping cleaned and provided clean fluffy towels every day. We were very grateful for the air con as we went in August.

Great apartment hotel close to Granada centre

We arrived at the hotel by car and there is an unloading bay by the Hotel. The hotel has just 2 or 3 parking spaces and we were lucky enough to get one. If these are full then the check in staff will take you to the nearest public car park.
After a friendly and efficient check in we were taken to our 2 bedroom apartment room. We were pleasantly surprised by the size of the room and comfort level. The bedrooms were large and the kitchen/lounge area was comfortable and well equipped.
The staff were extremely helpful in guiding us to all the sights in Granada and recommending restaurants etc.
The hotel is within easy walking distance of the centre of Granada with all the sights. The Alhambra is within walking distance but is uphill. It was in the high 30's when we were there so we drove.
Book for the Alhambra online well in advance and you can pick up your tickets at a ticketmaster machine in the centre of town avoiding the queues at the main ticket office.
Take the in room breakfast as it is great value for money and portion size is large.

It was like we walked a block or two and stepped into the country of Morocco! We didn't discover this till our 3rd day there. Stayed in a 2 bedroom suite for a night. The suite was nice, clean, and the rooms are very spacious. The staff was very helpful during check-in and very accommodating. We were able to store our luggage there for several hours as we toured the city waiting for our evening train departure.

Dirty dishes were left in the sink for the entire stay, the bathroom was not cleaned, etc. otherwise, fantastic experience. We'd definitely visit again. The hotel is in a great location for walking to all the sights.

The best nights sleep ever

I was really worried about being able to get to sleep in the middle of the city, but it was great, really quiet and so comfortable. The staff were wonderful too.

Well located hotel with large living space.

The rooms also included a large size living area with dining table , couch and little kitchen which was fantastic .The hotel provided extra communal living space with tea and coffee available. Friendly staff . The only negative was a small double bed .

Family break in Granada
