Traveled with my young adult daughters who loved this stay because it is a little dated and a little old fashioned (sound of music vibes). The price was outstanding, but the breakfast reflected that and the overall facilities are a bit rundown. The staff was so kind and helpful and it is a very convenient location to the grotto and cathedral which is why we were in town. I would recommend it - only giving a four to be clear that it isn’t upscale or anything like that.

Check in at 3pm, check out at 11 with breakfast at 7am. No customer service, reception staff doesn't even look you in the eyes while you talking. Tiny lift, lots of stairs, if you cannot do stairs I would rather not book it. No hot water service, therefore no tea or coffee available. Dusty environment, reception room sittings broken. Smell of dump, old furniture, noisy at night due to old flooring, moldy toilets. Nothing like the pictures they advertise. Not a 3 star hotel more like a motel !

The room was adequate and reflective of the price. The hotel is a little tired but the staff were very friendly and helpful. My room was on the top, fourth floor, and had a sloping section of the roof which proved to be a head strike issue, but only once! The squeaky floor had me feeling a little sorry for whoever was in the room below.

A lovely character hotel, rooms are large (can be cold if the weather is poor outside). Loved the shower, lots of towels and amenities (soaps and such). I realize the hotel is older but I did think a little more cleaning is in order.

Not recommendable if u are tall their is a tendency to knock your head on the ceiling i dont understand d designed even if u are 5\"tall like me u will stay knock your head, like me had the incident twice my sister likewise in their room she felt a little bit dizzy. The only positive is near a Vietnamese restaurant where we always eat our dinner for the 3 days we stay in Lourdes we eat our breakfast with them good enough for the price and no other choice bec at this time almost all hotel and restaurants are close acdg.to the taxi driver only 10 hotel are open on winters and some will be open for a week b4 Feb.11 celebration for our lady of Lourdes.

The Majestic is a classic and lovely hotel, with a winding staircase all the way to the 5th floor (elevator also for those who need it). Very good customer service at the front desk; very accommodating to special needs or requests.Just as great is the hotel's location: about 5-7 minutes walk from the train station and just a few steps to Lourdes main street filled with stores, banks, post office and good restaurants. The cathedrals are also just a short walk away. I loved this place!

The hotel is 10 mins walk to Lourdes sanctuary, local carrefour supermarket, and you have some local cafes that are not too far. About 5 minute walk from train station, 15 mins bus/coach from the airport! Staff were very nice and accommodating. Breakfast was average, handy for me as food places were very limited in Jan. The only cons are the werid smell, which I’m guessing is the building/furniture and because of the wooden floors it’s very noisy and can hear people in the corridor. Not very sound proof. Take an insense stick to clear up smell!

Just a 5 minute walk from the train/bus station. It was prime location. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a lovely young lady who spoke our language and checked us in.

We got into our room and pleasantly surprised at house cute the room was. Only downside was that it was really small for two people- but it worked!

There were towels, and a hair dryer!! That was very helpful!

majestic did the job. It was clean, had a lovely breakfast offering, continental but good choice of items. Walk to the sanctuary area of Lourdes was doable. There was a lift to use to access the room. A bit of an uphill climb to the train, but by far, much closer than many other hotels we came across in our short visit. Staff were very good at helping us and answering questions.

It was pleasant to stay there. Locality very good between the railway/bus station (7minutes) and
downtown (5 minutes). Also the religion area is not too far (8 minutes). The comfort was good for this price. It's an \"old style\" hotel like in 1970, but very clean and cute. Reception crew was excellent, helpful and friendly.

Old and well maintained which is exactly what I looked for in a hotel, in a city like Lourdes. The room is spacious.
The location is great as well, few minutes walk to St. Bernadette’s Parental house. Also the Grotto and the church are walking distance through the market. The hotel is located at the beginning of the interesting part of the city. The staff is very nice.
I was lucky to find a parking spot in front of the hotel on the sidewalk, not sure this would work for all visitors tho. The hotel does not have a parking.
There are stairs 20 meters from the hotel across the street, you need to take those to get down to the street that leads to the grotto and the parental house.
If you need a place to guy some groceries. Stay on the upper street and walk with the hotel to your right, 500m or so there is a carrefour and before that there is a nice patisserie (well there are many, but I found those useful).

Hotel is located conveniently and close to main train station, just walking distance. The hotel is very old should score 1 or 2 stars. Rome was relatively okay but bathroom was very dirty. Windows had not been clean for a while. Towels were old and did not looked washed. We only stayed in the hotel one night, so we had to survive. No air conditioner in the room, we opened bathroom window and room window to create airflow.

I stayed at the Hotel Majestic in late Sept 2015. My review is delayed because I mistakenly thought that I had completed it (when, in fact, I hadn't).
The hotel is centrally located, and it is ~5 min walking distance from the Shrine. Upon check-in, my family realized that we were going to be on the top-most floor. My mother is unable to climb so many stairs, so we requested another room. The hotel staff were incredibly courteous and gave us a ground-floor room so that my mother could be comfortable. She also needed a tea kettle, and the staff were so kind and allowed us to use the tea kettle in the breakfast area at all hours of the day and night (despite the fact that we did not pay for breakfast service during our stay). Overall, my family and I had an excellent visit to Lourdes and a great stay at the Hotel Majestic. In fact, we will be back this September (2018) and have already booked our rooms at this Hotel again. We hope that this trip will be as memorable as the last one. We are also bringing a few more family members to visit Lourdes! :)

We had a hard time working the A.C. but luckily the weather was cool enough. I thought the building was cool because of the architecture. Desk service was awesome and helped us with laundry, taxis, and more. It is a ways out of San Sebastion but bus fare is reasonable and this would be my go to place again if we ever go back.

Pleasant hotel with cheerful and attentivei staff. The room was small but comfortable. Watch out for the low ceiling and exposed beam on the top floor!

Walking distance to Our Lady of Lourdes

The hotel is walking distance to the Our Lady of Lourdes and close to souvenir shops and restaurants.

The staff in this hotel are very friendly and the main receptionist speaks English well.

The newly opened restaurant on the first floor of the hotel had good food for a good price. We only had dinner here but they also offer breakfast but we did not get a chance to try it.

The hotel is clean and the beds are comfortable.

Overall, for the price that I paid for each night, I would still recommend this hotel.

Friendly and very helpful staff.

The hotel is very close to the railway station. Staff on reception were very nice,friendly and helpful. It is further away from the sanctuary than a lot of others hotels but is near to the shops in the town centre including three bakeries and a supermarket.You get to see a
French town that you may not if staying near the sanctuary. All in all a great little hotel. Also the beds were very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

On arrival the receptionist gave us a map and marked the hotel location along with several key tourist areas which I found to be really helpful
We had a 3 night stay in a comfortable clean room, and slept really well.
The choices of fruit, breads and cereal at breakfast was good, would have liked a breakfast tea to be available rather than lipton but the coffee was just right.
The restraunt was closed for two nights of our stay so we ate out. We had a really bad experience at an Italian restaurant the first night so asked the receptionist for pointers in the second night and she gave great suggestions.
