This hotel is located only 300 m from the world-famous Baha'i gardens, which were declared a World Heritage Cultural Site by UNESCO in July 2008. The hotel is situated next to restaurants, cafés and a shopping mall, and it is only a short walk from the sea.

The hotel is situated in the German Colony, the restored historic centre of Haifa, in a unique preserved 103-year-old building that was completely renovated to create a boutique hotel offering luxurious rooms and mini suites of the highest design standards. In addition to a lobby area with 24-hour reception and check-out services, a hotel safe, currency exchange facilities and lift access, facilities available to guests at this family-friendly city hotel include a newspaper stand, bar, restaurant, conference facilities and WLAN Internet access (fees apply).

Room and laundry services are available, and guests arriving by car may use the hotel's parking facilities. The rooms are furnished with state-of-the-art furnishings and accessories.

In addition to a private bathroom with a bathtub and shower and a hairdryer, in-room amenities include a cable LCD TV, free Internet access, a mini fridge, safe, coffee making facilities and a direct dial telephone. It was a perfect hotel, very comfortable room, nice restaurant and delicius breakfast. It is located in a beatufil area and a perfect view of the Haifa Gardens. There is parking spots tight near the place. Service is excelent.

Hi. We stayed at the hotel from January 12th to 14th. We liked the hotel. The breakfast was a buffet, everything was fresh and delicious. The room was nice and comfortable, the bathroom was clean and bright. The hotel location is very good.

Rooms need some repairs. Bed, mattress and pillows are of low quality. Furniture has a lot of wear and tear. Breakfast was ok. Overall too expensive for what it is.

Everyone was very friendly. We came early in the day, but the clerk let us check in anyway. Our luggage was lost by the airline, and the hotel staff helped us locate the delivery van and secured our bags until we returned to pick them up. Breakfast was good. The location is convenient to trains, buses, and downtown.

The staff was wonderful and the breakfast fantastic. Guests are required to be checked in for breakfast. Available parking behind the hotel was great to have but complicated to get to due to one way roads. Ear plugs are a necessity if you want to get to sleep. Very loud music nearby can be fun or a deterrent, although the proximity to great restaurants is nice.

The place is very nice and nostalgic . It gives old vibes from the outside but fresh and new inside still with the touch of the authenticity of the old building. It was very convinient with all the necessaities in the room and they were nice and welcoming and we had everything as we ordered. we even had netflix . The food was delicoius and clean. The hotel was clean and we really enjoyed our staying in the room. we had access to the dinning room 24 hours for water coffee and tea which was a nice addition,the hotel is located in a great place and we had all kinds of stores and resturants around and there was a near by free parking for the car. there is bus stop near also. I recommend this hotel very much and comparing to other hotels it is cheap and great.

The staff was exceptional!! They were always kind courteous and went beyond our expectations. Location was exactly what we needed. Our room view was perfect to be able to see the Bahá’í terraces and Shrine. Bus transportation was close, plenty of restaurants available. I can honestly say I miss all of them.

The best part of this property is actually the breakfast, it’s outstanding. The rooms are decent but a bit small. The staff is great and helpful. Whatever you do, try your best not to get a room facing the main road. He gets very loud at night with the traffic and the kids on motorcycles

Very pleasant experience.

The hotel is excellently located with great restaurants around. Not much parking but we got lucky and never had a problem. The staff was super friendly and accommodating, breakfast was peaceful and delicious. The hotel is on the older side but, for us, that just added to its character. With the exception of some water damage on the walls the room was very clean and comfortable. Would highly recommend.

The Bahai Garden is walkable. We chose this hotel because we afe hoing to Haifa port for cruising. If you came early they can hold your luggage until 3 pm
Or unti there’s an available room. The breakfast buffet was superb. I recommend this hotel .Restaurant everywhere , ATM is accross the street. We are couple traveling for the first time in Israel.

This is a quaint boutique hotel in the heart of the German Colony. Everything was clean. My only complaint was that the air-conditioning in our room was not working. We notified the front desk, and they sent a repair person. However, it still was not working. The staff shoukd have verified that it was fixed. It was very warm in Haifa that week and this is Israel after all!

This hotel was situated in one of the former German colony buidings. It was in an ideal location close to the Bahai Gardens and the main tourist centre with lots of restaurants within close proximity.
Staff were helpful and friendly. The room was large and quiet with everything we needed.

A very basic and clean hotel in the German Colony with a good staff, good breakfast in a very nice location on a street that looks directly into the Baha’i Gardens with many excellent restaurants.

It’s a great street to have dinner and take a walk to see the gardens lit up at night which is spectacular.

Otherwise the hotel is just basic. It’s also a close walk to the train station and the bus to go up the mountain to the top of the garden and sites.

The Colony Hotel is a very clean and comfortable hotel in in interesting area of Haifa. There are many places to eat near by. The breakfast was excellent. There did not appear to be any assistance available for our luggage, and as the parking is not next to the hotel this may be an issue for some guests.

Room was loud. Fans were open to outside in two directions so could hear housekeeping staff at work as well as outside noise. It was a cold night and the air was rushing through as well. Unacceptable maintenance shortcuts.
Staff called our room at 9 to ask if we wanted housekeeping after the housekeeper had knocked on the door and we had asked for them to return later.

From the moment we arrrived early for our reservation, the staff was helpful and accommodating, which we truly appreciated, as we had a long travel day from Toronto, ON. The breakfast was spectacular, and Felix the chef, was very attentive the entire time. Flavours were fresh, unique and yummy!
Location is perfect - plenty to see and do within walking distance. Would highly recommend!

The Colony was a very nicely done historical renovation of an old Templars building. It is in a very walkable location in the German Colony at the foot of the Baha’i Gardens. There are some good restaurants right outside the door of the hotel but the newer places in “Downtown” Haifa are just a brief 15 minute walk towards the port.

Weekend at the Colony

Beautiful building, spacious room, great and abundant breakfast. Well located. Didn't get to use the rooftop unfortunately. Wish there were shuttles or guides offered to the top of the nearby gardens. Got there with a taxi but I was confused as to were the entrance was of where I wanted to go
