Very friendly service, excellent breakfast, did book a family room got 2 twin singles. They did bring another bed at our request. They don't have a pool however we were able ro use sister hotels rooftop pool just 2 doors down with nice city views.

The staff were happy, polite and eager to help.

However the photos on the listing do not match up with the actual room that they give you. I paid extra for a room of 4 even though there were only 3 of us travelling because I didn't want any of us sleeping on a rollaway bed. We were given one king size bed for 2 adults in the bedroom and a rollaway bed was squeezed in to the already cramped lounge area. We stubbed our toes frequently on the furniture legs when moving about in the livingroom.

When I complained about the small size of the apartment I was told that the hotel was fully booked and they would offer me a bigger room if one became available, which it never did. I didn't pursue the matter because I didn't want to ruin my holiday.

Visiting the city was the first time it was like traveling back into the 1960s. If you’re traveling from abroad bring an electric plug adapter, because the room didn’t have USB or western plugs. The room was very stylish, like a retro small flat. Comfortable bed. Wonderful staff. This is the perfect location because it’s right across from the main mall, it will take some getting used to learning the exit from the mall, it goes through the parking lot of mail. A very nice Hotel

The hotel was surprisingly nice. Check-in was fast, staff very nice. I needed some electric socket adapters (european to UAE) and they provided with no hassle.
Room (Classic Room) spacious and clean. It had a water kettle, for morning coffee or tea, every day new bottle of water. Bed was extremely comfortable, bathroom nice and clean.
Internet was surprisingly stable and fast.
The only things that bothered me was air condition which was quite aggressive no matter how you set it (it was not that hot anymore, probably in hot days it is a must and it would be different) and the selection of TV programmes, where only a handful of programmes was in English, also there were no music programmes but that is probably just me.
Hotel is located just next to the Al Wahda Mall, and the beach is not so far away, probably some 5 minutes with taxi.
I budget allows I warmly recommend staying in this hotel!

The property is centrally located next to the Al Wahda mall which is very convenient. The room was clean and the staff was pleasant. The room came with a kitchen which was not necessary for us but a unique aspect of this hotel and would be a useful feature for anyone staying longer or who needs to cook food at the hotel.

This property was booked because I got a great price that included breakfast. It is a great location right next to Al Wahda Mall so we only walked a few minutes to enjoy dinner at Paul Café. The big negative is our room was right next to the mosque so we woke up earlier than we planned. We will stay again but request a room away from the mosque. I recommend you ask where your room is located if you need to sleep in. The breakfast room is small with a limited selection but it was still good. They can cook eggs to order. Valet parking is also nice in a low cost downtown location.

Check-in was painless and quick and they gave us a free upgrade to a bigger room than we booked.
Breakfast was generous with options for cold/hot buffet, and continental options, and they kept replenishing everything even near closing time.
The room and bed were comfy and the bathroom very practical. However, I found the pillows to be too hard for my taste.
Wifi was good.
Whilst the hotel isn't located very close to downtown, it was strategically located near the bus station, which means there were plenty of buses going in all direction only on a 1-3 min walk.

Met all expectations

We got to the hotel about 1 hour before check-in time and we were kindly upgraded from a double room to a studio flat in order to guarantee an available non-smoking accommodation by the stated check-in time 2pm.

The studio was lovely - there was a king size bed, a little dining/PC table, a living area set up of a sofa, coffee table and a sofa chair. Our bathroom was clean and modern. The towels and bed linen were soft, crispy clean and looked new.

I'd definitely recommend the hotel to people who are visiting Abu Dhabi without a car. We had trouble with parking in the surrounding area. After about 20:00 it is almost impossible to find a parking space so if you have a car better leave it where you've parked it earlier and go to explore with a taxi.

We paid for a non smoking room! And got a smoking room, even tho i mentioned i had ashtma. The shower was leaking! I couldnt believe it. This hotel doesnt deserve 4.5 stars. Its horrific. Staff stole my stuff! Then it eventually turned up when i made a complaint. I would never come back to this hotel. They then tried to charge us extra when we were leaving, and they did not mention this in the begining. Breakfast was dry

It was a bad choice to stay there where I faced a lot of problems for first time in booking hotels with this hotel ,
1-they don't give the same room as booked and they said that we have specific rooms for hotels.com and it's a big contravercy because I booked two rooms one for friend husband and wife and one for kids and they put them apart one in low floor and kids on highest floor
2-paying extra fees to bring the kids in the same floor with the same type of room we had booked
3-extra feed was so high
4-extra fees for parking
5-it's unbelievable to kick the kids in high floor and that make you feel in way or in other is just to gain extra money
6-what they mean by what they say that we have spicific room for hotels.com and is that mean they put a room only one room in each floor for hotels.com or that means it's the lower class one or bad type one ,,,,it needs explanation

A quality hotel, perfectly located.

We stayed at this hotel on the 6th of January for 10 nights and it was a marvellous stay. Perfectly located in a nice area with good sound proofing. Behind the hotel is the Al wahda shopping complex with its great supermarket which has a bonus of selling hot food at reasonable prices. Right in front of the Al Rawda hotel is a bus stop and taxi pickup/drop off point. Fares are cheap and drivers are well experienced. Above all we felt safe and comfortable in Abu Dhabi.

Normal hotel with big room

This hotel is located on a fairly bland street, but has the great advantage of being right next to Al Wahda Mall. It's a typical city hotel in that it has a small reception area and small lounge. My room on the 12th floor was large and well appointed: large bed, spacious living area with a sofa and coffee table, decent desk with a lamp, large closets, and a small area for the water heater, magazines, and drinking glasses. The restaurant has an OK breakfast buffet and attentive staff. I took advantage of a package an Internet and breakfast package. WiFi really should be free instead of AED80 per day, but it worked fine on my phone and laptop simultaneously. The staff are ready to help, for example, fetching taxis.

Rotana is one of my favorite hotels groups, and I have really enjoyed my stay (for almost a month). This is such a convenient location due to the proximity of Al Wahda mall (with a large grocery store Lulu in the basement), and choice of restaurants and cafes. However, what really did it for me was the staff who are superb - friendly and helpful. When I arrived, my room was booked with a kitchen, but they didn't have one available the first 2 nights, by the 3rd, I was getting quite upset and complained. The same night, the manager immediately upgraded me to a 1-bedroom with a cute little kitchen. great service - keep it up!

Comfortable hotel in downtown Abu Dhabi

We visited in February 2013 when the weather was very comfortable. This hotel is in a downtown area next to the Al Wadha Mall, which is a modern 3 story mall. The hotel sits on a busy thoroughfare, but the soundproofing is good. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Our studio had a kitchenette with a compact laundry machine. The neighborhood is safe and convenient to transportation, although the surrounds are a blend of commercial business area and middle class housing. The staff are pleasant, helpful, and experienced with international travelers. We do not speak Arabic, but the staff were able to communicate with us in English, some more easily than others. The staff helped us organize a local tour, which occurred without any difficulty.

We chose this hotel because of the competitive price and we thought we got very good value. We were not seeking a resort or a luxury property. We were able to save by shopping for our meals at the Lulu Hypermarket in the Al Wadha Mall. Local restaurants are limited unless you are willing to eat at the Mall food court, which is filled with all the usual North American chains.

This property is suitable for business travelers, tourists, and families who are watching their budget and seek a comfortable lodging. If you are willing to use local transportation and are willing to prepare your own food you will value this hotel more.

We spent 2 nights in this pleasant hotel. The front desk people were really nice and courteous. The room was clean and pleasant also. The location was also good, it is right behind to the Walha Mall with good shops and one of my favorite shops is Daiso the Japanse store. Thr only thing I did not like was the parking. They do not have parking available for free. You have to pay 15 dhs per day to keep the car near the hotel and there is a guy standing at the door of the hotel to park the car for you. The rest of it was a really pleasant stay.

Stayed for 2 nights for the new year. Great value for money for this hotel. The rooms are spacious and clean. The food is well priced and tasty. The location of the hotel is very good, as it is walking distance to the wahda mall, and a short taxi trip to anywhere you want to visit in the city. Internet prices can be steep, but I guess that can be said for other places as well. Definitely enjoyed my stay, and would recommend it.

Just return, nice weather. Hotel is in centre location, bus stand just behind if you want to go to Dubai (only 40 Dh for return fare!), Sharja, Al Ain or other towns. Al Wahda Mall just one minite walk, mall have all, fast food, supermarket LuLu, bank, money exchange, Rolax etc. Hotel rooms have kitchen with nice fredge freezer, washing machine with dryer and you can bring your food, water from mall. Good helpfull staff.

The hotel is located next to the Al Wahda Mall which has a supermarket in the basement and then all the usual shops and a food court. As the rooms have a freezer and good sized fridge this means you can stock up on favourite foods and snacks making the rooms more homely
Reception staff respond to what you want but not much more and checking in was a chore as they hadn't read my request for a front facing no smoking room.
The rooms suffer from traffic noise at the front, construction at the back so if you want silence in your room to sleep this isn't the hotel for you.
Taxi's are easy to find so travelling to other parts of the city is easy and getting back is straightforward as all taxis know where the Mall is.

This apartment hotel offers good sized rooms with a small kitchenette. Located next to a shopping mall, you can keep a stock of your favourite snacks in the good sized fridge.

Front facing rooms face onto the busy Airport Road but traffic noise is no more than any other city hotel. The rooms on the back face the Mall which is being extended and construction noise goes on through the night, so if your a light sleeper, make sure your room is at the front.

Room service was good and reasonable priced however internet is extra at full European prices.

The TV was good quality with a decent range of channels, satellite gave a huge range of Arabic channels. Lots of taxi's pass the door so there are no problems with transport.

Aircon was good but slightly noisy.

I would recommend for you to get this hotel if you want four-star quality for the same amount. The hotel is conveniently located a block away from the Abu Dhabi bus station, where you can catch a bus to Dubai. There's also a nearby five-star hotel (Grand Millennium Al Wahda) and the Al Wahda Mall.

Inside the hotel, you'll notice how small the building is - the hallways are kinda cramped and the lobby is really small.

I had a small problem when I got there. I requested for a king-sized bed on a non-smoking room with my online reservation. When I got there, they could only offer me a king-sized bed on a smoking room, or a double bed on a non-smoking room. So I agreed to take the king-sized bed on a smoking room but I had to make sure it smelled good. So off the manager went with me to check it.

When I got to the room (808 I believe) it was a corner room with nice windows and a huge bed. It didn't smell too smoky, and it was cleaned gleamingly, so I took it. The room is really huge and lively. Nice amenities. Only thing is it didn't have a bathtub. But it's okay.

This Hotel Gets A 5 Star From Me ~ LOVE IT

This was my 3rd time staying at this hotel. I choose to stay here because I love the location, the service from the staff, and the feeling of a home away from home. I would certainly recommend Al Rawda Arjaan Hotel to everyone that wants a small, cozy, clean, peaceful, relaxing, warm, comfortable place in Abu Dhabi to stay. Thanks to all the employees that worked there, and made my stay a pleasurable, and memorable one, especially the girl at front desk, her name is Rowena. She is so warm, friendly, and helpful. Thanks a lot :) This will always be where I would stay every time I visit Abu Dhabi. It's a great deal!!!!!
