Great stay here - all the staff went above and beyond to be helpful. Rooms are excellent and breakfast is delicious!!

The hotel even made an event of my birthday with a cake surprise in the bar and balloons in my room.

Will be back here on my next trip to Abu Dhabi

The room was exceptionally clean and well maintained. We made good use of the shower facilities, particularly the large bath, which my wife thoroughly enjoyed. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. I genuinely could not fault the hotel in any way and would happily recommend it.

The hotel is in the best location, easy to reach many places by foot, public transport or taxi. The checkin process was smooth and my room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The breakfast was varied although very busy at times. The helpful staff made up for the crowd, as they were patient and attentive. I would definitely recommend the Marriott Downtown when visiting Abu Dhabi.

Clean room, staff, amenities are all good!
Only complaint is the shower/sink water temperature hard to control, too sensitive. If one person is taking shower, another person uses the sink water or even flush the toilet, the show water temperature would change suddenly.

I had issues with my key from check in until day two when they had to call in maintenance to change the lock thrice. However, the staff at this hotel are really helpful especially the concierge and the breakfast is unlike anything you’ve ever seen. Truly amazing

Hotel management came to rescue for what could be a worst marriot experience into an excellent stay.

Rooms are huge and love the ameneties. The club in the hotel made the stay little unconvinence because of the type of crowd you get to the hotel.

The property had been well maintained and according to the Marriot standards, the breakfast was awesome. The staff was welcoming and had a good sense of hospitality towards its customers, whether it was the bellbou, cleaning, breakfast staff, front desk or the car valet parkers.
Munib, Sanjeev & all other staff members were well mannered except a bit of attitude by the front desk Salona. Rest of everything was great and we enjoyed our stay & shall definetly choose the same hotel in our next visit.

A very good hotel with multiple amenities.
Spa and Sports bars are good and the restaurant at Mezzanine floor is very good and the food variety and taste was amazing.
Staff are very helpful and friendly and they support you to their best abilities.

Swimming pool is not too big and gets crowded and the surrounding is city life. But quality of the hotel is definitely 5 star

Great hotel. Very comfortable large room and comfy bed. Nice shower and toilet. Great view of Abu Dhabi. Close to major shopping mall. Buses will take you everywhere. Plenty of taxies nearby. Gym was very well equipped. Swimming pool also nice. Friendly staff everywhere.
I recommend for you stay in Abu Dhabi. Restaurants serve good food.

Housekeeping helped to put a few floor mats on the floor as it was slippery after my kids had their bath in the bathtub. Hotel was located within walking distance of Al Wahda Mall which was very convenient. Breakfast spread was good with plenty of options.

Booked a Jr Suite and the room was huge and spacious. When someone books a room of that size, you would obviously expect guests to ask if they can provide different bed configurations like either a single king bed or 2 queen bed which the room has space for. We had 2 four year old kids so we had that obvious question but the answer was that they only have the single king bed configuration. The obvious next question was that if they can give us a small extra bed that the room had space for despite the 2 huge couches and the 2 extra large chairs and the answer was that we need to pay extra. I would say its common sense to accommodate that request without charging as its a terrible waste of space with all the unnecessary furniture in the room. However, the answer was no. Imad at the front desk initially said they can give it for free but later another manager just wouldnt entertain the request. The hotel was good and i would rate the property absolutely 5 star but small things like this kill the experience. Its not that we couldn't afford it. Its just how much the property would do to make a customer happy. A crib was offered which was falling apart and doesnt fit a 4 yr old, though the hotel said it fits upto 5 yrs of age. It was just flimsy and too small and we said no.
The food was great. Maybe the manager who was on staff while we checked in was just not the best. All the other staff was great and helpful.

After three days during our stay we were transferred to another hotel owned by the same owner in AbuDhabi. The transfer was smooth and to a newer hotel with better facilities.Credit to them that we must honor all our reservation terms were surpassed to higher levels.

Stayed at this hotel for a week in Abu Dhabi.

Staff - very friendly and helpful cannot fault, welcoming and smiley. Extremely professional.

Amenities - for children there is nothing apart from a small pool on the roof top, which is actually mostly covered.

Room - we stayed in the Junior suite which was brilliant, very very spacious for a family. The rooms however I think need some kind of ventilation system to get rid of any smells

Location - literally 3 mins walk from the Mall which has amazing shops and a play area for kids in the 3rd floor.

The hotel is great for a couple or people on business or even with older children, if you are looking for a hotel with younger kids to have activities then this would not be a recommendation.

Outstanding hotel. Very friendly staff. Great location. I must have mentioned to one of the staff that I had stopped smoking a few weeks before. On my last evening they had delivered a bowl of fruit and a personalised card saying congrats on not smoking. Insane level of service.

The hotel is located in a convenient area in the downtown area, with a big mall just across the street.
Staff were very friendly and accommodating! I felt welcomed the moment we walked into the lobby.
Rooms are spacious, clean. We got a room facing the mall/crossroad area but it was not noisy at all.
Make sure to ask for a higher floor room if you don't want to be facing the building across.
The breakfast buffet was decent with a good variety and selection of food. Room service was good.
We also loved chilling out at the Shisha bar located on the top floor of the hotel - you need to try their Premium shisha selections!
Overall a great place, great value. Will definitely return.
