I requested a small laundry order the day before check out. Despite having a same-day option, the laundry was not ready the morning of my check out, so I had to leave without the items. There didn’t seem to be any real urgency on the part of staff, who instead questioned what time of day I submitted the request etc - which was largely irrelevant at that moment in time, give I needed to leave to catch my plane. The hotel should not offer a same-day service if they are unable to honour it. This request was made in good time and if the hotel felt unable to accommodate this request within the day, they should have left it in my room - particularly given it was clear I was checking out the following morning. I have sent an email to request these items are posted to my UK home address, but have not yet had a response. Phone calls to reception just seem to go unanswered. Not recommended at all.

Not sure were these crazy reviews came from but I enjoyed my stay.The breakfast bar was above average. The room was worth more than $100 a night. I would stay again without thought. If you are looking for valet to park your Bugatti Tourbillion, you need to get off this sight, call your assistant and have them book you at the Ritz.

Slow check-in (15 mins to get my room) was into a good start, though receptionist was pleasant and apologised for long delay.
Slightly tired looking hotel but comfortable and had nice buffet breakfast.
Nice downtime location . Taxi drivers all seem to know where it is which helps.

We had a pleasant stay overall. The staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. The breakfast was overall enjoyable with a good variety, particularly the custom made omelettes.

For the deluxe room, the room was spacious and the bed very comfortable.

My only criticism was that the shower floor drain was poorly designed, which caused water puddles and flooding each time we used it.

Additionally, the dinner buffet was disappointing — limited variety and food was not up to a high standard.

The neighbourhood area is the inner city downtown where you get lots of food restaurants within walking distance, not the bougie city side if that’s what you’re looking for.

Everything was as I knew it when it was a Holiday Inn.
All was fine except that one of the elevators was shaking slightly as it went up to the 14th floor in a way that didn't suggest anything major that need maintenance.. but it did aim to show its age. in addition to the fact that those who would use the gym had to climb to it from the 16th floor via the (non-air conditioned) stairs.

Room was comfortable, clean and spacious. Breakfast offered good buffet choice.

The property is located in a good location. They have valet parking although if room says sleeps 3 it will actually sleep 2 so just be mindful you may need an extra room.

Great location in the middle of downtown. Walkable to corniche as well as Abu Dhabi Mall. Hotel staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. Room was clean and all service was extremely prompt. I called the front desk because my iron didn’t work and they delivered a new one to my room in less than 2 minutes! Hotel isn’t the newest, but it is clean and well kept.

Shalie at reception was excellent. Friendly. Warm. Nothing was too much trouble. So was Allan, in Concierge. Everyone was so friendly. Housekeeping staff were very accommodating and friendly too. The guys in Valet Parking and in the restaurant - nothing is too much trouble. Every single one of them. Even the security staff were very warm and welcoming. Amazing team.

The Hotel Manager Amrou Tabbaa deserves a huge pat on the back as he too was hands on, warm and friendly. He made the dream team how they are by leadership by example. Keep it up, Amrou and the dream team.

Wouldn't call it a 4 star hotel, as the property seemed old and basic stuff like the buttons inside the lifts were not working properly to reach the desired floor.Basic amenities inside the room, nothing special.The breakfast waa also pretty basic with many items being stock outbon a regular basis.Forbthe price that's being charged, certainly it call for a major improvement.Overall.i was happy with the stay and the location is quite central.

Location is within the city with easy access to cabs. Hotel is presentable and in good condition aside from the the unpleasant smell from the carpets in the hallway. Staffs are friendly and accomodating. Our room was cozy and we were comfortable during our stay. Valet parking is a bonus!

I liked the location of the hotel and the breakfast was really good and location is close to everything.

I didn't like the room and the property. Almost most of the things in the room were not functioning well. The toilet water was not working and the water kettle when warm would steam all the water and you can't even touch it (very cheap brand). The TV is very old and most of the channels aren't even working. No fridge in the room and the room smells really awful. The hotel was good but the room was terrible.

Charming - a Home Away from Home

The ground-floor restaurant is this hotel is as good as any restaurant in Abu Dhabi - their salads are to die for! This is an older hotel but well kept and has an intimate charm to it. There is a \"basement\" bar that has a pool table and two dart boards, a great bartender and good, homey atmosphere. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Nice gym with Charles offering helpful workout tips. They have a very good masseuse on site for a relaxing deep muscle massage. Good location located in central downtown Abu Dhabi.

The staff was VERY helpful and went out of their way to make us comfortable. They helped us with late checkout as well due to our scheduling challenges.

I was very happy with the breakfast buffet as well- while some things ran out quickly, the menu was huge and had food from multiple cuisines. It was more than sufficient for brunch. Good value for money!

The location was also good, lots of eateries at walking distance, many tourist spots just minutes away on car, taxis and careems were very easy to get.
