I’d like to thank Mohamed for making our stay better by bringing all the necessary things to our room, but unfortunately other staff, especially at reception is pretty ignorant - even with the smallest problem they promise to help but do nothing - happened couple of times during our stay.

There is a club in the hotel on the second or third floor. I was on the fifth floor and both the bass and treble were easily heard in the room. It went on until 3am. I tried calling the front desk, but it was always engaged.
It’s a shame because the room itself was very good as was the food in the restaurant.

Had a check in time of 2pm, but due to an early flight arrival i arrived at the hotel a few hours early.

Hotel staff were gracious to allow me to check in early for no extra cost & couldn't have be more helpful.

Room was very spacious, with it's own private balcony which was awesome.

Overall i was beyond happy with my stay, & if I'm ever able to get to Abu Dhabi again, I'll for sure stay at this hotel.

There was a face towel in my bathroom left with several yellow stains in my room. When I raised a compliant I was told there was some maintenance activity and the maintenance guys may have used the towel and let there. They made it appears as if it was something minor mistake.
Although the service was good I personally will never use this hotel again due to cleaniless negligence.

The quality of the interiors really needs a revamp, the furniture and finishes feel old, and the colors/overall look in my room did not match the photos. My room as well as Towels had a damp, musty smell.

The room itself was much smaller than what was advertised and felt cramped, with poor lighting that made it feel even tighter.

Parking is also misleading, it’s not really free.

The only real positives were the location and the front-desk staff.

Only the Philippino Bar at the top made us wait for food for 2hrs then food turned very bad even to look at so the manager apologised and refunded us. If only that can be improved the hotel itself and the staff are welcoming and very lovely 😍

The bathroom needs attention it smelt musty the whole 3 days I stayed. You need to wash the shower curtains they stink or replace them with glass panels.
We had two bathrooms and one was out of use as it was giving out orange water so we couldn’t use this bathroom. The room smelt of cigarettes and music blasts from the bar till 2/3am. I wouldn’t stay here again. This is not for visitors who live in the west it’s more for south Asian country visitors and the hotel is full of them

All the staff were super friendly, helpful and professional. We booked the hotel last minute so I chose whichever room is available in the website. When we check-in, Alisha upgraded us to a suite at no extra cost. Alisha, you have no idea how this gesture have made our day. After a long day of going back and forth from Dubai to Abu Dhabi, receiving this type of treatment is such a treat. All the staff, Ranshini, Maham and even the valet person always wear their smile and always ready to assist you. I will definitely stay again in this hotel.

It was a nice stay, except when I asked to extend my stay the front desk declined and said it was sold out. I was shopping for another property to stay at and found that it was available just at a higher cost. I would have paid the higher cost but I did not like being lied to about being unavailable.

The bathroom ceiling was leaking. Cleaning is subpar - surface of garbage had seaweed on it and wasnt removed throughout stay. Sound of the AC located at the entrance was so loud, like it was broken so i had to turn it off all my stay. Positive note, room was roomy and comfortable

Very conveniently located. Walkable distance to pretty much everything. 5 minutes walk to Corniche, restaurants and shopping. Budget friendly. Parking was a hassle because there is no parking at the hotel. Our options were either use the public pay parking or valet parking. Valet parking was quite cheap and effectient so we opted for valet parking. All the staff from front desk to housekeeping to concierge to restaurant upstairs were incredibly nice. Although I didn't feel, (but my wife mentioned that ) the music from 3rd floor restaurant was little too loud until after 3am (our room was on 5th floor). But overall we enjoyed the hotel. We will certainly stay here if we are in Abu Dhabi again.

The hotel is located in a good location, several restaurants and a supermarket can be found nearby.
We had a very pleasant welcome, the staff was friendly, we received all the necessary information at the reception.
we felt as if we had arrived at some American Hawthorn hotel.
the room was clean, and we evaluated the balcony positively.
we only had a problem with the air conditioning, because it barely cooled the room. fortunately, it is not very hot in March or in Abu Dhabi, so the open balcony door solved everything.

First, I order food (pasta), it came heated in a microwave, so part is super hot and part super cold, and the pasta was sticking to each other. Couldn't eat it.

Secondly, I got electrocuted in the bathroom by touching the small mirror over the sink. I don't know why, but apparently there's a fault in the wirings.

Third the internet is really bad. The network keeps connecting and disconnecting so I couldn't work well until the next morning.

Terrible attitude from the staff. We spoke to the hotel before arrival and they confirmed early check in, which was also repeated through Expedia. Upon arrival, the check in clerk was extremely rude and unprofessional - asking us to pay for one night to check before midday.

He then had the audacity to start negotiating with us, saying if we check in at midday he will only charge us AED 100 extra. Absolutely ridiculous - we were accompanying someone getting surgery at a hospital nearby and this experience ruined our trip.

Parking has to be paid for as well which is highly inconvenient. Hotel is noisy and busy at night.

Overall do not recommend this hotel and will never be staying at any Hawthorn Suites or Wyndham since their staff seem to have ZERO training or manners.

It was a terrible experience. Had to change rooms and ended up the one with a broken balcony.
Went to the Gym and found out nothing is working, the treadmill is damaged with used tissue paper stuffed inside.
Steam and Sauna wasn't available as disclosed in the brochure as I believe it was kinda false marketing.

The staffs are nonresponsive and have no knowledge in handling simple tasks. Especially the evening lady, she was rude and unfriendly. Certain basic amenities were not found in the room and that I have to request.

Not worth the time & money for the 2 nights I paid for.

I hope there will be change and be better next time, until then I would advice my colleagues and friends that this is inadequate

We were placed in 4th floor. With the night clubs in below levels. No sleep till 3am every night after 3 long days of work.
Also the hotel is in a residential permit parking area which I didn't know about until I got there and so the only option was to give the hotel valet which was AED 25 per day which I thought was not fair for a guest who is staying at their property for 3 nights and that too just to sleep for 7 hours
A request had been made not to charge and change the room to a higher level and it was denied.
I will not stay in this property next time due to both the above REASONS.

Do not even THINK of Staying!

First problem is they did not have hotel parking and all public parking spots was marked as “Residents Only” so one can imagine the horror of coming back from work from the ship in hot summer and finding no place to park. There are 2 unmarked parking places in front of the hotel and the front desk told me that it was for emergency purposes for maximum 15-20 minutes and I saw a Mazda car parked there for whole evening until next day morning.

Secondly room was not done first day and the second day I reminded the reception while leaving the hotel in the morning for work, that room has to be tidied up and to my surprise it was not done when I returned in the evening! No drinking water was kept too! Had to make some noise and the reception sent the cleaning boy at 20:00 for cleaning up who hurriedly did what he can in 5 minutes and scooted.

Mawaqif paid parking is 15 minutes away near to Sheraton Corniche & good luck getting smelly & sweaty!

I stayed in this hotel from 17-20th August 2020. I am an frequent visitor to Abu Dhabi and have always stayed in Sheraton (Khalidiya & Corniche) and this time thought of trying something new and thanks for making it disastrous Hawthorne!

This is my last visit to this place! I am done!

Property need an upgrade...rooms are dark and curtains are old. Old hotel smell and horrible television channels. The best comfort is ok not really soft but not hard as a brick.
