Location location location, very convenient in district 1. Despite being central to everything the room is quiet with decent sound proofing, couldn’t hear any of the noise from outside even though we were on level 1.

The hotel is located at District 1 which is just a walking distance to most tourist attraction places. We had a welcome drink during checkin, staffs were friendly. We stayed for 2 nights and had free breakfast like waffles, porridge, fruits etc. Hotel is clean and they clean the room daily. Small hotel but good place to stay for short term getaway 😁

Everything was excellent: clean facility, delicious breakfast, friendly and helpful staff, super location, reasonable pricing. One area could be improved: cleaning staff are unevenly performing their duty: one day they will miss shampoo or shower gel, another day they will miss facial towers, another day they will miss tea or coffee, etc... No big deal for us, it just something shouldn't happen. They should have a checklist to ensure a solid refill, resupply on everyday.

The staff were excellent - one day I asked for boiled eggs and they never appeared. The staff rang to apologise and even wanted to bring them to our room after breakfast had finished!

We ran out of toilet paper - I would expect a hotel at the bare minimum to ensure you have enough toilet paper for the duration of your stay.

Many eateries around and walking distance to many attractions. Room was on upper floors and was average interior. This room had two windows which overlooked a next door rooftop which at times someone was working that roof and could peer into windows. We closed the drapes which means no natural light. The room was mostly quiet but one night there was music from next door after 11 Pm. Breakfast area was small but good service and food. Overall reasonable stay for price.

Facilities are better now as they have done some long due renovations for the hotel.Breakfast spread is not the biggest but adequate and staff at breakfast is attentive and good.Only thing was I ask for a late checkout but the guy at the reception is arrogant and was not even interested to consider or discuss with me on this !!!

The hotel is fairly nice. It's clean and quite comfortable. However, it's noisy and there's very little protection from outside noise either outside the hotel or outside the hallway. I spent a good amount of my time inside away from the humidity and heat so I think it was a comfortable stay. The staff are somewhat helpful, although there was one point where they called me to deliver me a message and they couldn't tell me what the message was and kept putting me on hold and then picking up to dial numbers and hold again. It was quite irritating. I eventually just hung up and walked down. The location is convenient with lots of food stalls nearby, it's around the corner from the touristy Ben Thanh Market, but a lot of the tourist attractions are walkable.

Now this is a good hotel to spend your vacation

I spent one night here and wanted to stay longer. I arrived and was pleasantly surprised by the size of the room. I got the deluxe room without breakfast. Hotel was clean, bathroom was clean, good water pressure, aircon was very cool until I figured out how to turn it down a bit, good location, good restaurants close by, shopping mall, the Ben Thanh market, WiFi was sufficient, management was very courteous and friendly spoke excellent English, bell caps did a great job helping with my luggage to and from room, and getting honest cabs. I would definitely stay again.

Close to market,night market and Street Food Market. Good buffet style breakfast although the breakfast area is small and you may be expected to share a table. Helpful staff .Request a higher room as there is road noise. Lift to all floors. Walk in shower . Walking distance to most tourist attractions. Plenty of taxis from the airport approx cost 180,000 vd. Very pleased with my stay.

Clean nice rooms, some with great views (we celebrated NYE in our room with a fantastic view of the fireworks and a glass of wine). Good breakfast. Worth the price!

We stayed 5 nights in Sanouva Hotel, the staffs are very nice and helpful, the room with window is spacious and the bed is comfortable. In the morning the breakfast has offered a good menu with many delicious food, around the hotel there are many Vietnamese coffee shops and restaurants.
It's in central of Ho Chi Minh City with the reasonable price, we give this hotel 4 stars instead of 3 stars.

We stayed 4 days with Sanouva. The location is perfect as it is only 1 street away from Ben Thahn Market, but not in the super-high traffic flow. The street is lined with many food/bev options, so easy to walk from hotel. Several nice shopping and spa options nearby as well.

The rooms are clean and modern, but a little on the small side. However, the bed and bedding were excellent and we were happy with the layout. Wifi was good as was the AC. The staff is friendly and professional. Tran and her colleagues were helpful in every way and provided us a lot of great info about tours, taxis and other areas of interest. Tran especially has a good command of English and a wealth of local info.

The best part of our stay was breakfast. Although mostly Asian, they prepared us eggs on request. The pastries and coffee were outstanding. Since leaving Sanouva, we have sorely missed their breakfast. It's hard to find such a lovely spread in Vietnam. Really hard!

For the price, you will not find much better in the area.

Everything we wanted

We stayed 2 nights on our way home after 3 weeks of travel, and would happily stay there again. The hotel seems popular with experienced European tourists. We were pleased by the excellent location in short walking distance of several very good restaurants, lively pubs, Ben Thanh market and Dong Khoi shopping and sites. Street food, a mini-market and an ATM are virtually next door. The street is lively enough to be interesting but the sidewalks are not jammed with parked motorbikes. As to the hotel, the staff was pleasant, courteous and attentive. The comfortable, spotless room offered complimentary fresh fruits well as the usual amenities. Breakfast was pretty typical for hotels in this range; a tasty range of Vietnamese and western choices and lots of fruit. WiFi worked well! We had to leave very early for the airport for our flight home. The hotel checked us out the previous night, and called a cab and got us out the door the next morning in minimum time. This was a perfect choice for our limited time. We'd stay there again.
