Mostly the hotel provided the new towels around noon. Also, when I need just only one new towel in the evening (around 6 pm) because my towels were dropped down in the wet bathroom by accident, I called and talked to the front desk female agent, she refused to give me a new one. The young lady, Uyen, said \"the room service is only one time a day and the hotel don't have any new or clean towel.\" I had to go to buy the new towels by myself from the market nearby. I don't see the hotel manager at all. Guests are greeted by the bell men all the times.

Rooms are clean and decent but noisy, the windows are not completely sealed and no matter what floor your room is you will hear street noise unless you take room without window. in a premier room ( higher price) there is no place for luggage's you have to leave them on the floor and jump over it because rooms are very small, breakfast I would rate 2 out of 5.

Room rate is reasonable.

Bad:
Sound proofing of room was bad. Can hear people talking on the phone and playing games in their room in the middle of the nights.

Room and lobby has a stench.
Water pressure from shower head is not strong.

Breakfast was limited. Not much of good eateries near the hotel. However, can take Grab easily to all the malls.

Will be good if hotel can provide two room key cards.

A very good place to stay and enjoy your trip to Sgn. Close proximity to central market and shopping area. Attentive staff, especially Mr. Hung who is always outside attending to your transportation needs and to make sure that you're safe getting in and out of your ride. Hotel provides great breakfast as well. Will return for future stay.

I arrived early and was able to check in. I booked a room with a window with 2 twin beds. They only had a window room with two double beds which was provided at no extra cost. The room was on the back side of the hotel with view of construction, but less street noise. The staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Was disappointed to have such a bad stay with all the good reviews this place has gotten in the past. First night..woken at 6am by cleaning staff outside my door having an argument screaming at one another.. asked them to be quiet they ignored me! I called reception who eventually got them to calm down. Had to wait four hours for clean towels to be left in my room. 2nd night was woken by the guy next door snoring.. I know that's the not the hotels fault but man the walls must be super thin because it was like he was in the same room as me!!
Upon checkout I was informed that I had taken a travel adapter from the room.. which I hadn't.. I bring my own.. nevertheless they seemed to take a liking to my adapter and said it was theirs and took it out of my hands while I showed it to reception.. boss said it was theirs and they would charge me double if I caused any trouble.
I'd say this hotel would be reasonable if they charged a third less.. the room was comfortable etc.. apart from only 2 mins of hot water in the show before it goes stone cold. Great location and the place was pretty clean. Shame about the terrible customer service. Wouldn't recommend this place.

We had a room with strong cigarette smell. The staff who showed us into the room smiled when we point it out, and suggest turn the aircon on full to vent the smell quickly. The smell was still strong until we went to sleep.
Breakfast is amazing, the older staff outside the entrance is so friendly, he went above and beyond to advise us. The front desk staff are not as friendly as other hotels we stayed. They are on their smart phone all the time at work. Overall happy with the facilities.

Do I need stay here again

We came back stayed again, they gave us room 601,small room one queen bed, facing to street footage smaller( I stayed here couple time, anytime I came back to Sai Gon), this room having major problem smells deodorant from bath room to whole room, let it fix but still the same, they want move us to another floor, I don’t want move my belongings to much, and I decided open the window,all time, The management just ok not great 😕😞

It’s a very simple American standard hotel. No “frill frill” no clutter. This is my 4th times staying here. Too bad I decided to stay here in Saigon for 3 more nights but the no more room available and I have to go to different hotel. The staff is extremely helpful and polite.

Missing Hand Towel in a Great Location

Great location in District 1, HCMC, and near the Ben Thanh Market and other attractions.
Only drawback was quite noisy as I was staying in a room with windows overlooking the busy Le Thanh Ton Street, thus could hear all the vehicles sounding their horns right till the wee hours of the morning.
Room was clean, the only unhappy part was that the house keeping accused me of taking 1 hand towel, which was not the case, as I was only issued 1 for the entire stay... thankfully the front desk did not pursue the matter.

This hotel not bad, near to many market, hawker, restaurant, bar... The cleanliness of the hotel not bad, breakfast not many choices but taste ok. The staff very friendly and nice. The bed ok just maybe need to change the bed frame as there have a sound when u are on the matteress. At night there are a bar downstairs and have a lot of sound althought we are staying at the highest floor. Overall is ok, I will choose this hotel again for my next trip to here.

They definitely catered to the Asians with little consideration for Westerners. The only friendly staff member who took the time to speak with us was \"Uncle\" who was the door / security man.
Servers in the restaurant didn't come to our table to ask if we needed/wanted anything and spoke very little English when we got up from our table to go ask for tea or eggs.
Our reception upon arriving was very poor, we arrived and was in the middle of being checked in when another guest arrived and they put us aside to take care of him first.
Location was great, but would not recommend the hotel to others.

Fave of 5 Hotels in Ben Thanh Area!!

This hotel has super friendly and helpful staff! Amazing people!! They let us check in early which was super helpful as we stayed at five different hotels in the same area and needed early check-ins and all hotel check-ins are at 2pm.

WiFi is excellent!

Good air con but all the hotels cut off aircon and electricity to your room as soon as you remove your keycard, so you never come back to a cool room.

Water pressure is good for showers, which is important since Saigon is hot and you may be taking two showers per day as a foreigner.

Toilet water does the job in one flush, some toilets in Vietnam need multiple flushes.

The included breakfasts were really good and had good selection of Asian and Western items.

None of the five hotels we stayed at in the Ben Thanh area had breakfasts as good as a restaurant, but that's expected of hotel food.
It was good for what it is if you can wake up in time to enjoy it. Most hotels' breakfasts end by 10am, so if you sleep in, then you're out of luck.

Room is clean and looks the best in design of all five hotels we stayed at in Ben Thanh area.

The breakfast was good, it is close to main atttractions. But the street it is on is very busy and most of the noise comes into the room. The room could use a new paint job and good cleaning. There was a lot of smoke smells coming into my room despite it being a nonsmoking hotel. I complained to the front desk and they opened the door and windows on my floor and placed a plug-in air freshener which helped. The bed was also very hard like most SE Asian beds.

Awesome hotel to stay in

The hotel is very central and near Ben Thanh market. There's this uncle (Old aged man) who greeted us every morning and opened the door for us every time he sees us, without fail. Really commendable. The hotel stay comes with breakfast buffet and the spread is relatively good and tasty. Never regret our stay at The Luxe Hotel and will definitely recommend family and friends for their stay in Ho Chin Minh.

With the great value and facility, this hotel is very highly recommended. Give it try :)

This is my second time staying at the luxe. The first time was about 5 years ago when they first opened. Since then, I'm still amaze up the upkeep with the hotel. They have maintained it very well. Everything still looks new.

Nice Hotel at a convinient area but some downs

Overall staff members are really kind and would do anything to make your stay better. But if you are planning to stay over a long period of time just note the laundry service isn't the best. They send it out to another place to do the laundry and have it delivered back to the hotel which isn't very trustworthy.

The staff was not friendly when customer checked in. The room does not have hot water in bathroom. Asked twice but nothing changed. Buffet was included but was served not well. I had to go around to find spoon and bowl. I left the hotel after staying one night and lost my money for the other days since I did not feel comfortable. Overall, I was not happy with their service.

amazing service by one of the hotel staff. he always greeted us with a bright smile and cautioned us gently whenever we left the hotel to be careful of our surroundings. he couldnt speak much english but he left a deep impression on us. location of hotel is great too, walking distance to ben thanh market and other places of interest. Rooms were clean and well maintained. Hotel's breakfast also had a decent and tasty selection.

This hotel was great for a quick stay in Ho Chi Minh City. Very centrally located and easy to access, around the corner from Ben Thanh Market. The room was definitely small but very clean and the air conditioning was very strong. Breakfast buffet was very good and a nice combo of Vietnamese and western options. Staff held our bags when we had to check out earlier than our departure flight. A little noisy from the street, as expected, so we slept with earplugs. Overall no frills but I would recommend to stay here.

Our experience of arriving at the Hotel was good and the staff helped us feel comfortable even though it was very warm and humid.
The rooms were well appointed with the necessary facilities.
Laundered towels, sheets and pillow cases smelled good and clean.
