Stayed as a family of 4 for 3 nights to get to the Women’s Euros in Geneva.
Not impressed by the cleanliness of the room - someone’s dirty socks under the sofa bed when we pulled it out and full of cobwebs.
The room was small, dark and very basic amenities for the price.
Breakfast offering for £48 (for 4) was very limited buffet - not at all value for money.
Was astonished when enquired about potentially staying another couple of day a for convenience - if we could get tickets for the final) to be told it would be more per night than we had paid originally when we could book the same room through Expedia for considerably less.
Parking was advertised as free - in reality there were a handful of parking places that were free but to guarantee a parking place it was an extra €3 per night

Unfortunately we did not enjoy our stay very much. We got in late and had notified the property we would be late. They did a good job communicating instructions on how to check in. I do wish information on parking was included though because I’m still not sure I parked in the correct spot. I did not like that our room was on the -1 floor (basement), it felt a little creepy. The walls were very thin allowing me to hear the neighbors up until 2am. We also had the window cracked because it was hot, which in turn let in the cigarette smoke from the neighbors until they went to bed (not appreciated for a non smoker). Kitchenette would have been nice had we had time to grab groceries before arriving.

We really loved this place. The view over the lake was amazing, and staffs were friendly. Recommend if you are driving. 2 bedroom APT was spacious for 6 ppl (including 2 kids) You can't complain to stay in this place for this price.

Elsa and other staff do a good job on my case. They are nice and have sufficient patience to explain everything. Moreover Elsa could sit in customer’s chair, thinks the way that us concern mostly, and figure out the solutions together with the customer.
Will recommend all Chinese to stay at this hotel for lake view at a cheaper budget. The location is close to the train station for morning movers. 在依云住店如果不租车需要一定体力和毅力爬山😄

The accommodation was a bit dated and would benefit from a facelift. However, it was very clean, spacious and well maintained. The room had a kitchenette which had enough equipment for guests to be able to prepare basic meals and keep food in a fridge. This came in handy, as the time of year we visited meant that not many places were open in the evening, so we bought food from nearby supermarkets and were able to cater for ourselves when we wanted.

Due to Covid precautions, the room was not serviced every day, which is normal for most hotels these days I think. We do tend to keep things tidy so it wasn’t a problem for us, and if you did need anything, the reception staff were on hand. The reception desk isn’t open 24 hours a day, but unless there was a major emergency, I wouldn’t think this would be a problem.

The location is a little out of the town centre and although it is walking distance (about 20 minutes) the return journey is up steep hills, so bear that in mind. We booked knowing this, so not a problem for us, and we had a car in any case.

All in all, we were very happy with the hotel and enjoyed our stay. It was good value for money and served our purposes well. There are other places closer to the town if you don’t want the steep walk, but we would consider this hotel again, if we return to Evian in the future

The hotel is badly in need of some updating as the carpet, fixtures, etc are exceedingly outdated and worn. There is no AC and it was unusually hot for the lake Geneva area when we stayed there. I would suggest that they put standing fans in the rooms to help with this as the cost for AC installation would be too high to justify the need/cost.

The other thing is that in order to utilize the sofa bed it requires a great deal of furniture moving as the space is not large enough to fit the sofa bed and the table and chairs.

The staff was very nice and helpful.

The carpet in our room was smelly, with bkach stains on it. The furniture needs to be updated.
Check in at 4pm, check out at 10am is very unfair.
We booked a room with lake view. However, we were looking at the building in front of us.

Stopped there on our way and booked as the only place available in the area. The furniture are outdated and the place just looks like it hasn't been touched for a long time. On the floors, the carpets were sticky and a big area of dust could be seen along the walls where the vacuum doesn't reach, in the bathroom were two soap dispensers which no one had bothered to refill.
The sofa bed was so uncomfortable that our kids couldn't sleep, which means the parents didn't sleep. We checked in just before the reception closed and could not address our comments. Due to the short night sleep (not helped by the noise from other residents but I'm not blaming the hotel for this as that can't be helped) we decided to be on our way at 6:30 am before the reception opened.

Its location is beautiful but this apartment hotel is a major disappointment. The decor is dated, the furniture overused and dirty. The sofa had two big stains. The kitchen smelled. Overall I had a feeling that the place hasn't been thoroughly cleaned for a long time. The outside area needs improvement and the pool was dirty.

Very nice family spot for reasonable price

This is a very nice location. One bedroom unit came with small kitchenette and pull out couch. While it was very clean and the staff are very nice. The price was very fair given the general amenities and cleanliness of the place

The pull out couch was very old and mattress was worn and ripped. It was super uncomfortable for our adult sized children. They can usually sleep anywhere. We did tell the front desk after the first night, but they did not follow up with us or take any immediate action. This could be a language barrier. Regardless. We could not stay more than a couple nights because of this lack of decent slee. This is the first and most basic reason to stay somewhere.

With two good beds this would be an excellent spot and we would love to stay longer. We would come again and next time be more forceful to get a good bed.

Our intention is to be helpful and hope this will be taken this way. Overall a great place with nice staff.

Good size rooms and lounge/kitchen area with kitchenware etc provided. Pool area clean. Staff helpful. Feels quite closed in and overlooked by other rooms but wouldn't be an issue if you specified a lake view. We loved Evian itself and hotel is really close to a supermarket. Handy walk into the town from the hotel but very steep hill to get back up. Only there a couple of nights but could have stayed longer.

Nice hotel near Evian

Nice little residence on the hill overlooking Evian and the lake. Our room slept comfortably 2 adults and 2 kids and it came with a kitchenette and a balcony. If you feel like home cooking there is a supermarket 5 min walk from the hotel. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. You can probably walk to the downtown but a car is definitely recommended to visit the region.

If you have a car, the location is excellent. It is in a nice residential area. You can drive to the nearby funicular and ride to the town center for free, thus avoiding paying for parking downtown. The units are spacious, but some are obviously cleaner/newer than others. We got a rather bad one, and I don’t know what is the trick for getting a good one -- the price is the same.

it was worth the location buy what an uncomfortable stay. the hotel is within 5 minutes of the town of Evian and Lake Geneva. But, man, is this hotel dated and rather uncomfortable. By 7 at night, it ran out of hot water and I had to suck it up. you are nickeled and dimed for everything. if you don't clean their glass: charge. want an extra pillow for your kids: charge. want to leave your trash in the trashcan: charge. if you're a family, pay the extra 40 dollars and stay somewhere else. overall, we would not go back. and the furniture is quite outdated... from the 1970s.

We had such a good time at this hotel. The only thing we're concerned is the phone system. There's a phone in the room but we cannot use to dial out or even to receive local calls. My friends, who want to call us, had to call the office (in office hours) to leave a message for us. Then, the staff will call us to relay the message. If we want to call our friends back, we have to go down to the hotel lobby (office) to use their phone. We were concerned about in case of emergency (intruder, illness ... etc.) how can we call the police/or paramedic?

Pleasant staff, dated hotel, too many wasps!

This hotel is in quite a remote part of Evian up the hill. The area is very beautiful but there is a long walk down the hill to the resort where all the restaurants are, and a very long hike back up the hill. The hotel is clean and comfortable but very dated, could do with a makeover. The shower in the bathroom wouldn't stay up on its own and some of the furniture was a bit tatty. However the main hotel areas were very pleasant and the staff were very friendly. There was a lovely view from the balcony, however we were tormented by wasps as it was the middle of summer and you couldn't sit outside without them swarming around you. They were causing havoc in the breakfast room and this did spoil our stay. But probably not completely the hotel's fault, although I think they maybe need to look into how to control this. I was a little puzzled to be given a cleaning kit to clean the room when we left as this doesn't seem to be part of the service the hotel offers!

The apartment is spacious and well equipped and the hotel has plenty of parking places. To walk to the town centre takes about 25 minutes, but a Lidl supermarket is close by. Staff members were welcoming and helpful.

Very nice hotel, close to Evian centre

We stayed in one of the 2 bedroom apartments - the rooms were a good size, comfortable & clean. Reception staff were helpful, and the pool was a good enough size - the main part was probably about 15m long, with another 5 m shallow section for small kids. The complex was pretty quiet most of the time, and made for a very relaxing stay. It was handy having a Lidl less than 5 mins down the hill, so daily shopping was very easy, and walking down into town was about 15 mins - though bear in mind it's quite steep when you're coming back!

The hotel is located in Evian, about mid-way along Lake Geneva (Lac Léman) on the French side, so it is convenient for day trips into Montreux and Geneva. It's on a hill, so if you're facing the water you have a nice view. We did not, but we had a \"backyard\" which was great for the kids. We weren't crazy about the fact that there was carpet (which can get musty and is hard to clean) but it was clean enough and there was no smell so they are taking good care of it. The kitchen area was not large - no oven or dishwasher (there was a hob and a microwave). The sofa bed was terrible but okay for young children without too much mass (the normal bedroom bed was fine) The eating area was smallish - you couldn't have the table set up and the bed out, for example, and there was a dearth of easily accessible plugs. But these are details and overall, it was good value for the cost. If you want to eat in, there is a Lidl a block away. The staff was friendly and between their English and my French we got on easily.

what I liked the most was the comfort as we had 2 seperate rooms one for the kids and the other for us. The location is very nice as it is very close to Geneva and it took us only 30 minutes to reach there. Of course, if you are planning to stay in Evian, then renting a car is the most convienent thing you should consider for transportation.

-nice group of apartment style residences located just up from Evian. Provided everything needed for a comfortable stay, although a little out-dated. Had kitchen and appliances needed if choosing to eat at home. Did not love how we were expected to do the dishes and take-out garbage upon leaving, but if this helps to keep costs down than it's a small matter.
-also appreciated that we were able to access the World Cup games on the tv - as we struggled to find it in a lot of the Italian places we stayed.

The hotel location is a bit hard to find, but a good GPS will help. The two bedrooms appartment is actually one bedroom + living room/ kitchen, and a same category of room may have different layout concerning bathroom/ living room area, so ask if you can see the appartment layout if you have a choice. The appartments are clean, beds comfortable..The buffet breakfast is worthwhile.

We were very pleased with our appartment at Les Terrasses du Lac in Evian-les-Bains. The view of the lake from our balcony was really nice. A very good option for families. Lots of room, very clean and comfortable. Very good service at reception desk. The only down side was the noise coming from some industry nearby in the morning.

Dont Expect too much

The Resid Hotel in Evian has a good location but needs some renovation works. We spend a couple of nights and were satisfied with the place but units are small and there is no reception staff after 2000 or during lunch hours. You are on your own with a key to your apartment.

The employees of the hotel were ready to help us anytime, if we had a request and they speak English. The only thing we missed was the wifi internet access. If you would like to have internet access in your apartment, it has an hourly fee and it is still not wifi, but you need to use a unit to connect. To summarize: we spend a nice three days there, I would reccomend this hotel to others.

Nous avions un appartement 1 chambre, bien équipé, spacieux, avec vue sur le lac. Le linge était propre. Le mobilier est par contre vieillot.
Le personnel est accueillant.
Le petit-déjeuner est correct, avec un bon choix.
Seul bémol : certains bâtiments sont au bord d'une route passante à partir de 6-7h.
Il y a peu de places de parking par rapport au nombre de chambres. Donc pas évident de se garer gratuitement. Mais il y a un parking souterrain à 3€/jour.

Très propre, bonne literie , emplacement top ! Ils nous ont changé pour être au rdc avec notre chien avec accès direct à l’extérieur. Tout était très bien !!
