Not used this trip (March 2026) but did last August. Outdoor pool and attached whirlpool is not heated, so both were 'refreshing' but still nice. Indoor spa has a fantastic range of hot pools and facilities - but has to be paid for and gets booked up quickly.

staff were great room was clean but far too hot everyone complaining reception said they were sorry but aircon is set for winter I thought aircon was aircon that you decided what you wanted advised to open door which we did all night long so then lights and noise kept us awake. only 2 lifts working so alaways a long wait especially in the mornings Breakfast times one lift evidently has been out or order since last year

Location was great! Right in the middle of Old & New towns. Breakfast had good choice - always managed to get something to suit. Room was clean. We were there four nights and kept our do not disturb sign on the entire time. One day around lunch time the maid/housekeeper knocked on the door and immediately entered our room while we were there relaxing. We didn’t have time to get up before she entered. She looked shocked to see us. No apology was given - she left again straightaway. Not sure why she entered but it all felt suspicious to me

The room advertised on Expedia is not available at the Sandos Monaco, and I have been advised that Expedia have been informed to amend their website.
the staff at the hotel were amazing and went out of their way to give us a room upgrade to a suite, however the room we were moved to had building/maintainence work going on on that floor and it was really noisy and the amazing jacuzzi bath the jets didn’t work (disappointed)
Food in the hotel was amazing, location is ideal, would definitely stay again if they had a room with separate bedroom

Hotel itself was immaculate and all staff were friendly and helpful. Food was plentiful and of good quality. Similarly the bars with good variety of drinks including cocktails.
Only criticism was the bedroom. Though very clean with comfortable beds it hardly can be described as \"de luxe\". No writing materials, only one small bottle of water (which was not replenished), balcony door was extremely stiff (my wife could not open it and I struggled). Expensive \"extras\" - safe (3 euros a night) parking - 18 euros a night. No tea/coffee making facilities though there was a kettle and provisions could be obtained from the bar.

Hotel Sandos Monaco is a beautiful and clean hotel with excellent service.
The bartenders are great and the food was good. The only downsides were the lack of air conditioning in the restaurant and bar area — it was stuffy, and I felt uncomfortable there.
Also, I’m not sure how often the bed linen is changed — during my stay, it seemed like the sheets were not replaced. However, the rooms were cleaned and towels were changed regularly.

Fantastic hotel with attentive staff. We went away as friends for both of our birthdays and loved this hotel. Room was clean and looked after daily by housekeeping with a lovely view towards the Levante Beach.

The rooms were not very clean and cleaning lady’s just did the basics. The food was okay, nothing special, just normal all inclusive food. But there was plenty of it, and you could always find something to eat at any time of the day. The service varied—some staff members were indifferent, while others were very friendly. Raul, a waiter from the restaurant, was particularly kind. The animators were very nice and really put in the effort. The animations were diverse and engaging.

It seems to me that there aren’t enough staff members, and they are overworked and under a lot of pressure. And i wouldn’t say it’s 4* hotel.

We have been several times to this property and there are so many positives. Easy access to old and new Benidorm. Excellent food choice, something for everyone. Staff work hard and are brilliant. We tipped regularly especially in the dining room, where they are rushed off their feet and the bar. We did notice that the outside sunbathing area to the left as you exit the bar wasn't cleaned very often and we twice stood on broken glass and discarded food and general muck from the night before which was unusual. My feel were black from walking barefoot so I kept my shoes on. I hope they're not letting this slip it would be a shame! The internal parts of the hotel are spotlessly clean. The rooms are spacious especially the bathroom. Great hotel if they improve the poolside cleanliness that would be perfect.x

Only minor niggle during our weeks visit was the wait time at lifts as one of the three lifts were not operating all week and if you were staying in one of the higher floors you could wait for a long time.

Excellent food options that are really well cooked. Extremely convenient location for getting the Alicante to Benidorm bus. The drink options were very nice with the all inclusive spirits and cocktails being rather pleasant especially compared to other hotels where the drink can be hard to stomach.

We spent 3 nights. Had a fantastic time. Very clean and pleasant atmosphere. We went all inclusive but because of our flight times we arrived at 23.50 and bar closed 24.00 sharp and we had to check out at 06.40 but nothing in hotel information to let you know you could visit restaurant early for a light breakfast or a coffee it was only as we checked out at reception that we were told but by that time it was too late so. Food was excellent but probably wouldn’t do all inclusive if I stayed again would opt for half board. Staff were pleasant but not well informed about things as when you asked them a question they opted for an I don’t know answer but I am guessing it was because they didn’t understand English

Hotel was nice, hairdryer lasted about 20 seconds before triping out, food was normal hotel food, before putting yogurt on fruit noticed it was 9 days out of date , gave this to staff, got no apology , front desk sfaff were friendly but restaurant staff couldn't even smile

Staff not very helpful. No help taking bags to room. No wait service around pool. No minibar included in the all inclusive. No robes in room. Have to pay deposit for pool towel. Snack bar near pool was horrible. Worst chips ever. Restaurant is only buffet style. No menu. Poorly designed property, no sun on most parts until late afternoon. Woyldnt stay here again and definitely wouldnt recommend.. way too much money for very little!

The hotel is perfect, it’s adults only, it’s in a very good walkable location near to the beach front. The food is outstanding with a lot of choices to suit everybody. Great snack bar outside by the pool for lunchtime if you don’t want to go down to the restaurant. Hotel is very clean, the staff are very polite and friendly. The rooms are lovely. The hotel is quite central for all the bars and shows and is a very short taxi ride if you want it. Thoroughly recommend this hotel.

All-inclusive package was great. Room was very clean and comfortable. Staff were welcoming, courteous and very helpful. Food was served in buffet style - wide variety to suit every taste - particularly liked homemade soups, and carvery style roast beef and Yorkshire pudding, baked ham, pork belly and rib of beef (served on different days). Cabaret varied each evening on the terrace and was a lot of fun. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Stayed here a few years ago and it was great, not so good this time, they have now decided to create queues! For example: to get food from the pool area you need to queue at the drinks bar, obtain a piece of paper (not eco friendly) and go back to queue to get a burger …even though you have an all inclusive band. Complained to reception about this and they just stared at me!
If you love unnecessary queues then this is the hotel for you, nowhere near as efficient as before

You can’t fault this hotel. Centrally located, 2 minutes walk to the beach and less than 10 minutes walk to Old Town. Excellent food, however I have had better paella. Friendly and hard working staff . Twin room was with 2 double beds. Not sure why people go for the select option. We will definitely return to this hotel

Glad we found this hotel

Just back from a lovely 5 night stay. Hotel is central to old town new town and a few minutes walk to beach. Very clean and comfortable had room on 12th floor with amazing views. The staff were fabulous they could not do enough for you very professional and helpful. Food typical all inclusive good variety. Some days very good other days just alright. Tended to have lunch from snack bar at pool which was cooked as you order the usual burgers hotdogs pizza kebab and fries on offer with fresh salads. Tried out the spa which was amazing. The select package is good value for money if you like branded drinks and you get 2 free entries to the spa but weigh up the options before you buy. The sun goes down at one side of the pool late afternoon but if you lounge at bar area you get the sun all day long. Overall I had a fabulous stay would definitely recommend this hotel and I hopefully will be back soon.

Room small - especially shower room. No butteries in tv remote. No tea or coffee in room. Towels in room like sand paper. Definitely not 4 star accommodation. On site parking was not made available. Been to many better hotels that were 3 star so no idea why this is 4 star.

From the moment you enter the hotel you’ll feel welcome from reception to bar and restaurant staff ,all very helpful.
The rooms are a great size and well equipped even a kettle.

Amazing staff however hotel not worth the all inclusive or wellness upgrade. Was suppose to receive a bottle of Cava and got a cheap €2 wine. Restrictions on drinks and times. Snack bar food was terrible however main breakfast, lunch and dinner was nice. Spa was amazing definitely 4 star with the pool features was lovely, however the rest of the hotel was like a 3-4 Star. Rooms very noisy especially with cleaning but nice rooms, clean and balcony see view great. Location nice and close to beach 5mins walk. Overall nice stay.

paid for a week for two all inclusive and got charged 15 euros a night for parking,endless paperwork info and signing required at check in , no proper invoice ,for customer... entertainment very noisy and mediocre.. apart for one news channel no more english tv in rooms..food average usual breakfast greasy streaky bacon...dining room staff very good..room average poor light in bathrooms ,, would prefer shower cubicle to bathtub , not good for pensioners

It's a nice hotel and all except for a couple of the barmen, the staff were friendly and helpful.
My issue is that this was my firsty experience of an all-inclusive resort, so I was a bot disappointed to find that in fact not everything available at the hotel is included.

This hotel is one of the best hotels I have stayed in.
Staff were lovely, especially reception staff Kamir and Mario who were always professional, friendly and helpful. David bar staff was great, always cheerful. Food was excellent with lots of choices and hotel was spotless.

The staff were so friendly and tolerant especially with some difficult guests. Reception staff were extremely helpful and assisted us with an error we made regarding our booking. We decided to celebrate our daughter's birthday at this hotel after been really impressed during our stay last year. Some of our guests inadvertently booked at the Sister hotel. This was sorted out by management, even though it was right at the last minute. The animation lady lived the days with various activities. Will definitely visit again.

Can find no fault with this hotel. Excellent in all areas. Food was very good - the meats especially so, and......crispy bacon (a first for me in Spain!). Staff were responsive and friendly although the evening entertainment bordered on patronizing at times. Would highly recommend.

Loved this hotel, wouldn’t hesitate to go back, however two things slightly off putting. 1) beds are very hard and 2) there was a cigarette burn in my bedspread. Seemed a small thing but really ruined the ambience for me! Sorry!
