The room was cleaned every day and towels were changed if left in bathroom. You could have beach towels with a deposit which could be changed every other day. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. All the staff were good and friendly very enjoyable stay

My 5th visit for short stays to Diplomatic and I love it. I live in Moraira but like to take visitors to spend a few days in Benidorm most years. I always recommend the Diplomatic to family and friends and nobody has ever been dissapointed. All enjoy Benidorm Palace which forms part of our stay.

Check-in procedure very easy with very friendly and helpful staff.
Upon going into the room however, there was a poor view from the balcony overlooking other apartments so privacy was somewhat limited.Due to this we approached the reception staff and they got us moved to a pool view, albeit on the next day due to having no available room. This caused us no problems and we moved the next morning. Try to get a pool side room it is a much better open view.
The food was good and varied (we were on full board) when we ate at the hotel.*for breakfast you could even have champagne(Cava)*
Bar prices reasonable but entertainment was for the older set and predominantly for the majority (85%) Spanish guests.
We went to Old Town every night and it is only 15 mins walk away. There is more than one side to Benidorm so if you haven't been don't be put off.
On the downside, the pool area end up in the shade for a while so you have to move a couple of times to keep the sun. The bigger pool is freezing but we are Brits and we can stand it !!

Experia must take very serious steps to take charge of the proper reception and hospitality of its customers or members by many hotels they work with , in particular in Europe and in Spain . Confirmation of hotel bookings made via Expedia are often disputed when they are not simply ignored and denied. Information and details of the bookings especially in Spain are not properly checked and passed to hotels, I understand , and always lead to major disputes on the bookings made, so therefore on the hotels prices , and added charges not disclosed or agreed upon on when making the booking and paying for it at the source. I had again a horrible experience in Spain this time again when I booked a room in Benidorm via Expedia, recently. My request were very specific: I booked a room for 2 Adults and one 17 years old + boy. I paid for it and a confirmation of the booking was emailed to me, and to the hotel concerned , I understand. The Hotel, a 4 star hotel (Hotel Servi Group Diplomatic) had not apparently received any of those details or confirmation. When we arrived at the hotel on the 01st June 2014, we were told, they were no booking for 3 people or 3 beds, and in any case the hotel does not have any triple room or large rooms to host 3 single beds at once....the worst part is it was a Sunday and most the Managerial Staff were off. The lady at the reception reluctantly gave us a room on the second floor (Room 202) with 2 single beds only, and with hardly any space to add any extr

we upgraded the room and is was so well worth it. Lots of space. Very comfy beds, and a settee for relaxing. Stay was early March, had to turn radiators off, it was so hot. Took full board because it was so reasonab;e, the food was superb, but would go half board another time, it was just too much good food.Not the best outlook but convenient for old town and beach.

Excellent hotel in good location for entertsinment

An excellent hotel. Friendly and helpful staff apart from the receptionist on arrival.She was very abrupt an unhelpful. I found her attitude to be rude and unnecessary. Considering she was the first member of staff we spoke to her attitude was wrong from the outset. All the other staff were very helpful and courteous. Wecwould definitely stay there again.

Christmas at the Deiplomatic

Staff always had a smile on their faces. Nothing was too much trouble. They really made an effort for Christmas and decorated the hotel beautifully. The bar prices were very reasonable so encouraged people to stay in the hotel and drink rather than venturing out because they felt ripped off.

Destacaría positivamente la comida del bufet, todo estaba exquisito. Lo único malo era la privacidad en el baño de la habitación porque la puerta era de cristal, no se cerraba completamente y no tenía pestillo. Además el marco de la puerta era de un metal que hacía efecto espejo y desde fuera se podía ver el interior del aseo, por lo que se te podía ver sentado en el sanitario o desnudo entrando a la ducha. También destacar que nos tocó una habitación bastante ruidosa porque estaba justo encima del muelle de carga y de la salida del personal que no tenía miramientos en salir a la calle hablando a voces de madrugada.

Overall, our stay was good. The open buffet is large with plenty of options, and the swimming pools are very clean. However, the rooms feel old and outdated and could use some renovation. Unfortunately, one thing that spoiled our experience was finding a cockroach in our room on the last night of our stay.

Støyende under jorda.

Resepsjon, bar og restauranter lå under jorda. Fryktelig mye støy og neonlys i restauranten. Maten blei rydda bort mens jeg var å hentet noe uten å være ferdig med å spise. Hotellet ligger i et rotete område med ingen utsikt. God frokost, stående bufe til middag var triste greier.
