The staff in the dining area were all very friendly and hard working but sadly it goes downhill from here. The room was okay but a little tired in places (Aircon unit dripped onto bed, TV very old). The pool now has a cover on so to swim you need a swimming cap. The photos completely misrepresent the current situation and while I appreciate (or at least I've been told) it's law, we specifically wanted a hotel with a pool, not some shaded, covered setup with restrictions. Location wise it offers convenient access to both sides of Levante and Poniente and in about 2 mins you're in the heart of the Old Town.

The hotel is always beautifully air conditioned and smelled fresh. It is clean and modern and the staff very helpful. It is ideally located for exploring both the old town and the beach front and promenade. It is a short distance away from the bus station in Benidorm when travelling from Alicante airport. Although our room was lovely, the only major flaw was that it had an adjoining door to the next room which had no soundproofing. This was the only room on the floor that had this feature which is great for larger families wanting ease of access to sharing rooms and space but not when sharing with strangers. The family next door had a young child and we could hear everything from screaming and crying to loud shouting and singing. Despite this, the hotel did offer to re-room us but given our stay was short we didn't take them up on this. It was appreciated that they would try to accommodate us in another like for like room in the circumstances.

Lost phone + bank cards on this trip. Reception wouldn’t allow me to use the phone to contact my bank.

Hotel room was an upgrade but was a bit shabby round the edges, and wouldn’t say was worth the money.

Amazing hotel, staff were so friendly and attentive. Hotel is very central for going to old town, 5 minute walk away. 10 minute walk to the strip. Air conditioning in the room worked, but not very well. Enjoyed our stay and will deffinelty be back.

Spent a week at the Hotel Benidorm Plaza and found it to be overall an excellent hotel. The restaurant staff were outstanding with a special mention to Miguel Angel, Rocio, Mauri and Patino who were always welcoming and looked after us amazingly well. The reception staff were all excellent but again a special mention to Reguar who assisted with a late checkout.

The food in the restaurant was always good with a great variety of dishes available at each mealtime. My only grumble was that the veg were a little over cooked.

The hotel has a lovely pool and several terraces you can use if you are not a fan of the beach. If you do like the beach it's only a ten minute walk away.

Originally booked in sister hotel the Belroy which has a slightly better location but wasn't too much of an issue. This hotel is of similar standard to the Belroy, however slightly cheaper in cost. The room was clean and didn't look tired. Would recommend

Great location close to the beach and located ideal for nightlife and Old Town.

Rooms were small but beds were extremely comfy and the air con worked sufficiently too.

Breakfast was below average but catered for all and the dinner had a great selection both nights. Plenty of options for all and a chocolate fountain on Saturday night.

This property is in a great location, clean and tidy. Staff were friendly and the breakfast was good.
We had felt the rooms were a tad small as we upgraded and the bathroom facilities were quite cramped. Also wish hotels would just include the safe as it seems petty to bill on top? But all in all a good hotel.

We only stayed one night so didn't use any of the facilities except the bedroom which was clean and spacious. Plenty of towels,soap etc. Breakfast was included and was standard buffet breakfast,plenty of choice.

Stay was good several problems in room headboard was not fixed to wall or bed so made a noise when one turned. The fridge had a constant buzz which was annoying so i pulled the plug over night. Wardrobe doors did not slide properly one would not even move did report this issue at reception on leaving room 719 overall would use the hotel again as its a central position for amenities.

Only small issue is you can hear people in the next door room when they are watching Television or loudly speaking. Small issue as it seems to be quite normal in Spain.

Top class hotel.

First off, the location was excellent. Only a 5 minute walk from the Old Town and Beach.

We parked on-site for €10/day, and car was right outside the front door.

Reception staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

Room was absolutely spotless, the cleaning staff do an excellent job.

Room was a good size, and everything was great.

Swimming pool is enclosed and heated, and was very big and everything very clean.

There is a small gym in the hotel, and even high security bike storage with a full set of cycle repair tools.

Breakfast was excellent. Large choice of cold meats, cheeses, fruit, cereals, pastries, cakes, and all the English cooked breakfast ingredients, everything you could want, and best of all served as buffet libre....eat as much as you want.

In the evenings there is entertainment in the bar area, for example one night a singer performing various English and Spanish hits, and everyone on the dancefloor, great fun!

Will definitely be returning here, and fully recommend to everyone.

Good location and about 10 to 15 mins from bar strip area. So quiet enough but close enough to busy strip. Close to shopping area. Hotel was surprising lovely and good sized room. The only slight problem is walls are paper thin so you can hear everything from next door.

Paper cups in room of a 4 star hotel not good 4 star requires good room crockery.
Room smelt of smoking unfortunately.
Pool and entertainment really good.
Excellent location and drinks fairly priced.
Bbq ribs one night were the best i have ever tasted.
On reception wasn't given wi fi password or offered safe.
When i attended reception re safe the rude gentleman just said later later later much to the embarassment of his lady colleague.
Much more positive thsn negative.

Stayed here for 10 days and have used the hotel previously so knew what to expect. Nicely positioned close to old town and Levante area, the rooms are fine with nice balconies however, if you get a room overlooking the road rather than the pool area there's not much of a view especially if you're not on a higher floor.
the rooms have tea/coffee making facilities ie a kettle and two cardboard cups and a couple tea bags which to my dismay were not replaced after day 1. On querying this I was informed that if you wanted replacements it would cost 5 euro's a week, ridiculous and obviously didn't bother in principle. There is a small fridge which eventually will chill down your water, I put some water in the ice cube tray and it was still water 4 days later so gave up with the ice idea.
Breakfast was buffet style and typically spanish with a large choice but like any hotel breakfast can be a little dull after a week or so.
Staff friendly enough in the bar and reception helpful, all in all not bad for a short stay

I’ve been to this hotel on 4 other occasions each time with my elderly mother.
The hotel and staff are great and the rooms although not hugely spacious are more than adequate.
My only concern is the food. It mainly consists of various fish dishes which is ok if you love fish but there is not enough variety in both main courses and sweets.
My mother has been going to this hotel for over 30 years and this time even she said the food was poor!

This hotel caters for mainly Spanish guests now which reflects in the catering.

nice hotel for comfort and clearness, but poor food for a 4 star hotel :-( I have stayed in many 4 star hotels in this area, but this has to be the poorest food on offer. Don't get me wrong, its all edible, but they just serve cheap cuts like: pigs trotters / lambs cheeks / chicken thighs etc etc, and breakfast items like sausages are the lowest grade sausage you are likely to buy. 'I also have never seen chicken nuggets with a light brown paste inside them !! Because we had an early flight home they said there would be an early breakfast laid on for us, but when we went to the restaurant it was in darkness and no food and no coffee ?? Most 4 star hotel I have stayed in have there dinner and evening meals ruining for about 3 hours at a time. This hotel only gives you 2 hours, and never opens the door until after the stated time, then start packing the food away about 20 mins before the end time !!! 'Clean hotel, but would I go there again' = NO :-(
