The room I booked didn't have a beach view as those rooms are more expensive. I came for one night as visiting a friend who lives nearby. We came by car and used the hotel parking. However I was not warned that we had to pay for parking. We checked out of the hotel at 10.30 athough could have stayed until 12pm. This was because we wanted to explore Benidorm and have lunch and collect the car about 2.30pm. We returned to collect the car and was annoyed to find that we had to pay €25 for parking even though the car park was virtually empty ! It seems this was because we collected the car late even though we had explained our plans to the hotel and had vacated the room at 10.30am.

Having stayed in a Barcelo Hotel sometime ago , I wasn't surprised to find that we had chosen the right hotel in the right location. Our room was spotless , it was superbly decorated and appointed . The bed was super comfortable , it was two single beds pushed together, but it was fine . Huge TV , Super huge shower and bathroom area. Breakfast this morning was literrally the best i have had in any hotel . it catered for so many cultures and tastes . There was nothing missing, the honey straight from a hive, a chef cooking any egg dish you wanted . One top of that all the staff from Reception to the Restaurant staff were amazing.
Special praise for the guy who was at the door of the restaurant . I am sorry I didnt get his name, cut a guy with a beard. The most friendly, kind and helpful staff member. So kind to every guest . He did everything with a smile.
I have one problem we only booked for one night .

The hotel is perfect and in a great location close to the old town. Our room was lovely and very clean. We stayed on B&B basis and the breakfast was fabulous. There was plenty of choice available. If you come out of the hotel and then right you are only a couple of minutes away from old towns headland which is stunning. We will definitely be back to this hotel

The hotel is in an ideal location for the old town and access to the new town is not difficult. It is ideally placed for the beach and the access to shopping and dining is exceptional.

The premier room that we had was roomy, large sized bed and fantastic views from the balcony of the beach and sea. However although the room was serviced daily with clean towels and bed making, the hard surfaced floor really required mopping with disinfect everyday to remove dirt and debris from everyday usage. Most people usually walk around bare feet in their rooms and after a few days, this was not ideal due to the dirt on the floor.

The breakfast was nice and wholesome and there was a large selection of juices and hot drinks to go with it. A few more daily choices added to the menu would not go amiss as the breakfast became quite repetitive if you stayed for more than about 3 days. They also do an excellent Omelette but the choice of filling needs to be increased.

That being said I would definitely stay here again and hopefully these things would be addressed before my next stay.

Crazy lifts though
Only one button so you couldn’t select up to the pool or down to reception
The lift stops says going down but we want to go up to the pool when that one leaves you have to press the button again and hope the next one is going where we wish to go

This hotel is great, but we were treated poorly upon arrival. Staff tried to move us to another hotel before we even checked in because it was one of our birthdays and they 'dont book celebrations'. To rub it in, we then saw two stag groups staying at the hotel with no problems.

Superb hotel, poor management and terrible customer service.

Breakfast is good, the pool on the roof is cool and the rooms are decent, but the trip was tainted by staff telling us we were not good enough for the hotel.

The best breakfast buffet we have ever had, they had everything possible, so many choices and all very nicely done. The restaurant staff, also very nice, and professional. The front desk, only Victor was very nice and kind, the rest not so much, very unfriendly ladies.
The rooms very small, even though we had an upgraded room ocean front. The sink kept clogging even though some one came to fix it. The shower water leaked out. Overall the rooms need some upgrading.
The hotel location was great, very nice beach.

Spanish cold shoulder in full force, but nice hote

The hotel is in a nice location, with a small supermarket next door, directly opposite a beach (which can get busy so you need to be there for 7:30am to get sea front loungers), and in the old town for nicer restaurants and nicer streets etc.
The hotel is clean and tidy, with well cleaned rooms and each room is large and comfortable. The room service staff are friendly and offer room service daily.
The roof-top bar , seating area, pool and sun bathing lounger area is impressive and will be a major selling point for guests, Offering complimentary clean towels and a good selection of drinks and food.
The breakfast is of good quality, freshness and a large choice from traditional English sausage and beans etc. Through pastries, fruit, salad, cold meats and cheese, cereals, breads, juices, proceccio, coffee and more.
Great so far, and I have to say it is a very nice hotel to stay for a few days but with a few problems.....
1) The Spanish cold shoulder! Its well known that the Spanish would like to be rid of British tourists, and as most regular travelers will know, they just ignore you. Spanish people will be taken from behind you in queues to a free reception desk. You will be ignored at the rooftop bar and despite 3 people working, they will serve everyone else and then go and do something else like fold towels before they serve you 🙄. This is pathetic, and whilst I understand they blame British tourists for not being able to buy houses in local towns (much like UK media

Mir hat vor allem das Gesamtpaket gefallen. Es ist zwar im Vergleich nicht das grösste Hotel, aber wen interessiert das schon. Klein aber fein ist hier angesagt. Die gesittete Atmosphäre im Hotel, der Pool, mit Sonnenliegen, bequemen Sitzmöglichkeiten und der Bar auf dem Dach, das tolle Buffet (vor allem der frische Orangensaft!) Auch die Lage direkt am Strand, mit einem Katzensprung in die Altstadt, zu Shoppingmöglichkeiten und kulinarischen Köstlichkeiten.

Also wenn ich wieder nach Benidorm reisen sollte (die Chance ist gross), dann werde ich wohl wieder im Barcelo Benidorm Beach einchecken wollen.

The hotel is in a great position on the beach by the old town.The breakfast was ok ,but badly layed out.The cleanliness of the room was not up to 4 star rating.Bed was comfortable but the room was smaller than most 4 star hotels in Benidorm.Coaches cannot access the hotel,so something to keep in mind that the drop off point may be upto 600mts away.If your in a car access is easy ,but parking is limited at the hotel and costs 25 euros per day if you can get a space.The public parking is a good 5 mins walk

Had breakfast included which was superb. There was so much selection probably the best breakfast i have ever seen in a hotel. Will i visit again? Probably as early as April next year.
