Always clean. Comfortable beds. Good breakfast selection. The only things that let it down was the hotel bar closing at 8pm, and they never, ever tell you which of the 2 hotels you're actually staying at. No problem the first time, but the second time one of our party had severe mobility issues, and the walk to the other site wasn't a great experience.

We paid over £200 per night for two nights for what was a very small and dated room - we left after one night and checked into a hotel a few km away which was £175 per night including breakfast and was fabulous. We were very disappointed with Poseidon Resort hotel - when we checked out early nobody even asked why!

Overall a nice budget friendly hotel with pros and cons, the pros are location, fantastically located giving you the option of both new town and old town in walking distance, the staff were brilliant putting in a lot of effort for entertainment and communication, the pool and breakfast were really nice and clean.
A few cons are that the room could do with a update the walls had marks and other areas of the room could do with a freshen up (tv, balcony furniture , coffee making facilities etc) maybe look for beds that could be clasped together to avoid a gap down the middle when combining two singles)
Unfortunately the room walls are very thin so from 7am you can here the other rooms leaving and their doors slamming and the bin men outside but if you are not overly worried about lying in it’s not an issue.
Overall a very Nice budget stay which could be made better and encourage a return trip.

Beware there is two Poseidon in Benidorm

Travelling with friends but i booked the wrong poseidon. I wanted the beachfront. I ask front desk if we can transfer but not granted.beware therw is two Poseidon. The bed wasnt comfee only one very thin pillow. Toulet need upgradingThey focus cleaning more on the pool and the entertainment area. The are is near to restaurant and few corners away from the beach. Too crowded in the pool. The entertainment music is too loud. Too many people always sat and waiting in the llobby

Really Good, But Could Be Exceptional.

Poseidon Resort is made up of 2 hotels next door to each other. Guests get to use the facilities at either hotel. Breakfast is standard for Spanish hotels. Good selection but hot food wasn't really hot at all. Reception area a little dated but very clean. Again, rooms are clean but pretty outdated, but they are currently renovating floor by floor, so maybe they'll be better soon.

Very hot for the first part of the week, but they don't switch their aircon on until May, which seems ridiculous. No fans in rooms to counter this. Bar prices are good and Paco was great, really good fun!

First time I've stayed at a Benidorm hotel that didn't offer an iron or board. At all. No ironing service either, so we were a little crumpled at times. They should change that, it's a standard service in all other hotels in the town.

My review sounds negative, but it's not. My stay was a good one, and I would not hesitate to stay there again. However, a few minor changes and it becomes my first choice.

Oh! Ants! All over the bathroom. Not good.

Waited ages to check in, air con doesn’t work till June, you can hear neighbours tv as wall paper thin and trying to relax by the pool no chance , they were using a pneumatic drill around the pool for 4 hours and got shoved in the old part of the hotel as they like locals in the new building

Clean if slightly dated interior but with attentive staff. Stayed on a room only basis so cannot comment on other aspects of establishment. Used by Spanish nationals' so I'd treat that as an endorsement. Good location for old town Benidorm, the beach and other aspects of the town.

The hotel was very nice, we were room only so can't comment on the food. The pool and surrounding area looked clean but we didn't use it as the weather was a bit too chilly.
. The room itself was very clean and the twin beds were comfortable. The bathroom had a large walk in shower and bidet.There was plenty of wardrobe and drawer space and a very handy free safe for valuables.
Our room had a large balcony with table and chairs overlooking the pool, which is nice in warmer months to sit outside.
Maid service was every day if required, make sure you leave the ticket on the door if you wish to lay in late.
Overall we enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again. Great location also as it's half way between the old and new town, both a 10 minute stroll.

Parking costs 10 Euro / day extra.

Average and normal food options...remember to carry your own swimming cap and also even if you have small kids no water bottle is allowed in dinner.

Great find and excellent value - great location for old town and strip. Hotel if definitely orientated towards Spanish holiday makers but that didn’t bother me as did not use bar and went room only.
Staff were all pleasant and room was large, great bed and lovely pool view balcony - couldn’t really find fault with my stay . Would recommend and I’d stay again!!

Fridge was not very cold and technician said they were all like that. Radiators don't come on until 1800, had to wear a jumper in room during day. No kettle, tea, coffee in room. Bus stops nearby but bus system is very confusing. Hot food in palace restaurant was lukewarm with no microwave available but there was plenty of choice. The rooms and the hotel was kept very clean. The reception staff were a bit surly but adequate. The indoor pool was spoilt by un -checked children and irresponsible parents. An adults only session would be advisable. Outdoor pools were not heated and therefore unused. The hotel bar and entertainment was totally Spanish but it was an easy walk to first class entertainment on the strip.

We really thought the hotel room was lovely - But could do with some soft close hinges on the doors as alot of people bang them shut every morning and evening waking everyone up.
The pools are great - the loungers could do with cleaning as they look dirty some of them.
The drink prices are fantastic to we were half board.
I also noticed some staff don't always understand what is asked for such as one morning breakfast in a bag was needed but no one did it for us but It doesn't matter but just be careful that people understand what you ask for.

But we would love to come back was very happy.

Great location really close to the old town and new. There were two pools quite big. However not enough sun lounger beds. Found that they were reserved with towels early however nobody was lying on them for a good while. Found the staff at the front desk to be lovely and helpful. However bar staff and dining room staff were unfriendly and rude. This establishment is catered to Spanish holiday makers, the entertainment through the day and evening was solely in the Spanish language and found that the other guest were quite intimidating and staring all of the time. Rooms were cleaned daily no issues with the rooms however would have liked a kettle with coffee and tea. Found that this hotel and its guests to be predominantly Spanish and not very welcoming at all.

Would I stay again? No

Absoluty loved this place. Polite and helpful staff. We had a fantastic view from the balcony - we were on the 4th floor. Room was clean, bathroom / shower were brilliant. Set in an ideal location if you want to go to the beach or walk to the main strip. 3 swimming pools, mostly quiet even in June. It had a TV, Fridge plenty of space to hang / store clothes. Reception staff were very friendly and helped us out with our shuttle return ( they did not have us on the return leg of the journey so the staff helped us contact to travel company.). Many Spanish people were there, a lot of middle aged range so no noisy disturbances at night time. Definately recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a relaxing break away. Hotel activites were available but we did not take part, and also options for bed and evening meal, but we ate out. If I go back to Benidorm I will be looking to come back again. Excellent.

Very basic , run down hotel.

We didn’t get the hotel we booked. We were put in the tower block Poseidon Palace next door. Which was extremely run down and very basic
. No kettle for tea.Room was tiny . Parking was €9.00 per day. Uncomfortable bed. The floor of the bathroom was lethal once wet from the shower.
Luckily we only stayed one nigh as a stop over.
Reception staff were the only saving point for this hotel.

We stayed here for our annual weekender to Benidorm. It was conveniently located to all the bars, the beach and nightlife. The hotel had great facilities, breakfast included and two outdoor pools all for reasonable rates. The staff were courteous and helpful when needed. Our room was comfortable and clean. We will definitely return here for our stay next year❤

On arrival we were greeted by a very friendly person on reception.
Hotel looked dated and in need of a good refurb.
We were not welcomed in the restaurant for breakfast, we felt like an inconvenience!
Pool area needs a good jet wash as the floors look very grubby.
The highlights were the welcome we got on reception and the location other than that there weren’t any other good points. I do not recommend!

My bathroom had a rain style shower head (I love those).

Cons:
Pool was not heated
If you like a fried breakfast you're best eating out. It wasn't particularly tasty.
Pillows weren't particularly comfortable.

Lovely hotel in a great location for the old town and beach. Staff at reception were really nice and helpful and you felt welcomed. Room was clean and nice balcony overlooking the pool. TV had British channels, bed's were comfortable and the bathroom had a brilliant shower.
Room had a safe which was free and a fridge. We had dinner and breakfast. The evening meal was quite basic and not as much choice as previous hotel's I have stayed in. Breakfast was nice and enough choice, hot and cold.
I would use the hotel again but probably only go for the bed and breakfast and go out for dinner.

Cheap and cheerful, we booked posidon resort and got placed in the hotel that is joined to it,the posidon palace, the rooms were very old and the bath had some sort of gummy residue due to the hotel being over 50 years old?? There was a sign saying 50 year anniversary clearly nothing has changed. On the picture rooms were much more refreshed and done up but rooms have defo not been updated since, it did the job however. The heating was on as it was winter and we stayed on 14th floor so it was so warm

We had a lovely 4 night break, full board, our room was fine plenty of space & a comfy bed, we had a decent bathroom, tv needed reseting & was sorted very quickly, a good choice of food in the restaurant, with it being buffet some foods could have been warmer, but overall very good, decent bar & activities during the day & entertainment at night, nice pools, but to cold on our visit, we would reccomend this hotel as its a short walk to the beach & old town,

Warm welcome, & allowed in early, Plenty of space in our room, balcony over looking the pool, nice bathroom, small fridge included, enjoyed our meals, Full board, didn't think the choice of menu was as good as previous visits, but didn't go hungry, over all a good 4 night stay though we did have a complaint made againist us for noise, this was the TV, which has a sound control on it.

No air-conding as described on Expedia hotel information, little sleep because of hot room, humming noise constantly from hotel systems just outside my room.
Building work from 9a.m, drilling & loud radio on the floor I stayed on , staff unsympathetic . Where is refund? Lucky I only booked one night!

There wasn't anything I could fault. Well situated, close to town centre, staff all very helpful. Room safe wasn't working when I arrived, told them at reception, the maintenance guy was at my door when I went back to my room. Clientelle mainly retired Spanish, but they tried to chat with me & being on my own I felt safe there. Choice & food at breakfast excellent.

The stay from the beginning was a bad experience. On checking in found the staff rude the hotel was very dated the radiator in the bathroom was covered in rust. The breakfast was not worth the money the hot food was cold and the cold food warm . Save your money and eat out

Location not far from either the beach or the old town so easy access to what most people come here for.
The room was in good shape and clean. The walls rather thin so you're likely to hear your neighbours - and tiled corridors carry a lot of noise.
Breakfast wasn't bad, quite a few options available, hot and cold, which was more than enough for my short stay.
My frustration was with the wifi as to get access you need to register, including e.g. your date of birth, and agree to receive a third party's marketing comms. I thought these practices were thing of the past but here apparently they are not.

Xmas break

4day Xmas break lovely time .the staff were brilliant in all areas friendly and helpful .the animation team were great getting people dancing and entertained under very difficult circumstances due to covid .all in all a good break
