The check in foyer was clean. The complimentary breakfast could have been better. The one in Dunnellon was much better a 5 star this location was a 2.5. The rooms were clean but some fixtures next to the bed had rust on them. Which to me is an easy fix. If they listen and read the reviews. The location of this property I loved. Close to very nice restaurants and entertainment. The staff was excellent and gave great recommendations in where to go and have dinner and lunch. So I give this location a 3.0

For me, the hotel serves two purposes: rest and maintenance. My only expectations are a clean room and a hot shower. When you book a room for six people, you expect everyone to be accommodated. Our room was stopped with four towels, and when I went to the front desk to request more, I was rudely told that the policy was each room gets four towels. We tried to explain that we had six guests and needed additional towels, but were told no extra towels will be given. Thankfully, we were family and could share towels, but this is unacceptable. In my opinion the rest of the day was fine, unfortunately days later this towel incident still sticks in my mind. our families needs simply we’re not met.

I'd also like to make note that the breakfast was good. The only issue we had was upon waking up and having the fitted sheet come loose we discovered the Mattress had numerous pee stains along with the padding. I mentioned it to the receptionist upon check out, and her only response was \"we'll get it cleaned right away!!! And she walked away. That suckes! Had we known the mattress condition we would had requested a room change for sure.

I didn't have high expectations of a comfort suite, but I will say this hotel was perfectly fine. We stayed as it was the only availability close to Gainesville for a concert. Nothing negative to say overall clean rooms were very spacious.

One night stay with my puppy on a road trip.
Pros: Staff was WONDERFUL! Christy at front desk was a delight. Lobby was clean and organized. Breakfast area kept clean and stocked. Room was cleanish - dark and needs an update. Easy parking.
Cons: Lots of trash around perimeter of hotel - not on their property. Website pics depict a much newer version of the hotel - rooms are worn and tired. Nothing fresh on breakfast buffet (fruit).

For what it's worth, it was a good spot for pets and traveling work crews (many staying there). Despite being close to highway, the room was quiet. The property in general is well-maintained. Not made for extended stay. Staff made it worth the stay.

well i have stayed here twice and for some reason it have been in the same room on the bottom floor. there are 5 floors and when i requested not to be on the floor cause i fibt sleep well as ppl walk by the window and he stated they have black out curtains!! ya so then i cant ever look out the window or have the blinds open!! then a month later and the hot tub still under construction!! i will not recommend staying here as they don’t have what they claim and the breakfast was the same thing every morning. very disappointed!!wouldnt recommend this hotel and there are plenty of other choices in the area!!

The bathroom had the most horrendous smell - like something wet had been left in there for weeks. We literally could not stand to take a shower and wore face masks just to go in. We would have asked for a different room but the front desk guy was so creepy we didn’t want to go down to the lobby. Breakfast was not good. Cheese whiz in the omelettes and coffee undrinkable.
The room itself was clean but all the other factors overrode the experience.

There is no hot tub it’s under construction the pool didn’t look like it had been cleaned dirty bandaid in it . The pool is not heated .
If I had known this I would of booked another hotel that had what I wanted

We stayed here for my mother in laws memorial services. My husband was treated quite poorly at this hotel. No one would help get Internet working, we had no towels at the pool, the hot tub was broken but not mentioned online and we had 3 towels in our room meant for 6 people. We had 5 in our group and the manager said guests in that room were allotted 3 towels. My husband insisted and begrudgingly she handed over 2 more towels. Our last morning - the day after the funeral - the very few breakfast items they had were awful - no waffle batter, muffins that looks like someone sat on them, \"fried\" eggs that were thawed and microwaved and lunchmeat ham someone probably also microwaved. Awful. Our biggest issue was the manager who talked to my husband like he was an idiot (he's IT and couldn't get the Internet working). She has no idea why someone is there and should be a little kinder when talking to people. The housekeeping staff was lovely.

The hot tub was closed, which was the whole reason I booked this hotel. The room was dirty, with large visible stains on the carpet, curtains, bedding, and couch. The toilet in the bathroom had streaks from previous guests and there were stray hairs throughout the bathroom upon entering. There was food/sauce on the floor of the elevator. I asked for a late check out to take a work meeting in my room before I left and I was told I could only have 30 extra minutes. The keys for my room continuously didn’t work so I had to have the desk staff fix them about four times in a two night stay (and no, I didn’t put them near a phone or anything that could mess with the card)

Breakfast was great cheese filled omelets, oatmeal, canadian bacon, bread, muffins, cereals even gluten free bread! The room was spic span clean. Furniture is scratched up. But I sleppt like a baby! Gym (I didn't use) was pristine. The greeter Kyle should be in ev every Comfort Inn. Loved it!

RED FLAG: Mattress is not encased. My daughter and I itched thru the night in room 410 in April 2026. Per-friendly hotel so who knows what creepy crawlers are lurking in this outdated hotel. When I asked the kind front desk staff if itching is a common complaint, one said no, the other said YES itching is common complaint but maybe it’s the cleaning products. I think not. Be warned.

The breakfast was good and the lady doing all the breakfast stuff was wonderful. My main complaint was the hot tub was down and that was one of the main reasons I booked that hotel. When you can’t use all the amenities that a hotel has I feel you should get some kind of discount. We were also missing a garbage can, but they did remedy that right away. The pool wasn’t very clean and it certainly did not feel heated as described.

This hotel was not clean, they reused dirty room key card holders that are filthy and disgusting, the food was not good at all and the floors smelled like people were smoking. The room bathrooms tub was not clean.

And when we checked out early because of this we were told we would receive a refund and a receipt and have not yet received either of them.

We went here during the winter and the temperature was in the 50’s. The heater was broken and was unfixable at the time. We were told there were no rooms available to move. And was told by very rude staff there was nothing to be done. My husband and I later went down to front desk to ask for a heater. They then moved us to another room, which needed up having bedbugs. Do not stay here.

Unfortunately, our stay was very disappointing. The room was extremely dirty, the bed linens had stains, and there were not enough towels for four guests as indicated in our reservation.

Breakfast was very limited and often ran out. We constantly had to wait for basic items like omelets, which delayed our mornings.

This was not the level of cleanliness or service we expected.

The lady at the front desk was less than patient and kind. She seemed to hate her job. Also the hot tub and pool closing at 9 on a Friday night was less than ideal. However, that’s whatever. Would’ve been cool to have nice staff. The pull out couch bed was nasty but it usually is in most hotels. I assume housekeeping doesn’t pull those out and check them. It wasn’t the worst hotel and wasn’t uncomfortable so I wanted to give it a few stars for that.

The bathroom fixtures had holes between the fixture and walls. There were holes in the sink. Bathroom wasn’t cleaned well. Curtains were stained. Unfortunately, it was worth over $300 a night. Look elsewhere. :(

The front desk was unattended when I arrived. After waiting for 10 minutes, the front desk associate had the demeanor that she was doing me a favor. In the room, the furniture was run down, scuffed, stained, and outdated. I wish I could compliment the cleanliness, but there were long hairs in the bed and on the bathroom towels. I would have washed my hands after that discovery, but there was no soap of any kind provided in the bathroom. When I informed the morning front desk associate of the circumstances, she vaguely apologized but didn't seem concerned. The entire place had an air of \"who cares?\". Also, the bed sheets were 100% polyester. I could watch in the dark as the static electricity glowed blue when I moved my legs under the covers. I shocked myself several times. The entire experience felt grimy and cheap.

The room was clean but the heating and air were not consistent. The staff were all friendly and helpful. We have a service dog and had no problems with that. The breakfast was probably one of the best features as it runs until 9:30 and...THE COFFEE WAS REALLY GOOD!!!!! The breakfast hotess, Molly, is truly a pleasure. She's a gem, hold on to her.

It did not start off well because I didnt have the room I originally ordered but, the staff at the front desk helped and figured things out for us. The rest of the staff did not speak a word of English and gave me a bad attitude when I asked if more eggs and sausage was coming out. I tried to get oatmeal and she told me no sorry. Then she brings some anyway. Staff was just very rude. They did not keep up on the breakfast. People were constantly complaining and waiting in long lines. That was by far the worst breakfast experience I ever had

The staff was very friendly. The location is extremely convenient to I-75. The grounds and building appear to be clean and well maintained. The included breakfast is acceptable. A nice mix of hot and cold options. Our room (318) was spacious. The one negative was the bed. The mattress was well used with a “well” in the middle.
