The room was clean, there was a large scuff/scrape mark on the floor in the room near the tv, some poor repairs in the bathroom, crack in bathroom sink, crack in frame of mirror and poor drywall repair around the shower surround. Beds were comfortable. No breakfast coffe cups were tiny and lids did not fit. Front desk staff had airpod in and was in no hurry to end her call when I approached the desk and I gave her time too. She did not have a warm welcoming attitude. When we checked out that person was different and polite.

We got our reservation through HOTELS.com and arrived at the check-in time (3:00pm) to find out room was not ready and would not be for another hour. The staff was very professional and courteous. We had to leave for a volleyball tournament and was unable to check-in until after 8:00pm. The room had a \"100% Smoke Free\" sticker on the doorknob, but upon entering, we could immediately sense the stale smell of smoke and must in the room. We looked for any other option for us to stay where my wife's allergies were not affected, but the area was sold out due to the local volleyball tournament. We opted to stay, and I was told that was indeed a non-smoking room by the night staff. The room also had several scratches and scuff on the floor by the dresser. Some of the wood tiles were warped and shrunk from water. The lobby was very pleasant.

The first room we were assigned was smelling mold badly, the toilet was not clean from previous guests, toilet tank was not refilling, there also was a stain on the linens. The evening manager helped us as best she could, she changed the room, & even swept the carpet by the hallway at this second room -cause it was visibly dirty. The second room was clean but overall neither the beds nor the pillows were comfortable. We understand this was a last minute pick, but there's absolutely nothing that deserves an 8 on this establishment.

Check in lady was sweet, but confused. Was hard for her to check anyone in at 4pm. I ended up switching from a king to a queen as it was the only room ready….by 4:15 at this point. Room was clean but bedspread didn’t seem so much, plus I needed a blanket but too late to ask for one, plus the toilet wasn't fastened to the floor properly.

You have some expected maintenance upcoming, for the most part in the bathrooms,... Exhaust fans , bathtub drains and shower curtain mounts. Oh and you might want to address updating 3rd lock on the top of the Guests room doors.

I was about 60 miles south from the hotel when my car stopped. It was after 5 pm, and I tried to let them know that I wasn't going to make it. I called and got no answer, I messaged on their website, and received no response. I contacted Expedia and they tried and got no response. Ended up being charged for the room, and still haven't received any response. I drove by the next day after my car was fixed, and was not impressed with the building.

Lack of security.

Once again the total absence of security is an issue that must be addressed. People in the parking area, in the lobby and on all floors that are not guests. No one asks if they are guests. Several lamps in the parking lot are out or dim. Not exactly at ease during recent stays.

Disappointing and Sad

Staff at the front desk not friendly at check in. Gave us a room that was in the process of being cleaned. Had to go back to the front desk and let them know the room was not ready. The room that they gave us, while clean, half of the light bulbs were burnt out, toilet seat was only secured by one bolt, security chain on the door was not secure, Bath tub was nasty. All outside trash cans were over flowing with trash. The experience was very disappointing.
However, i stayed at this same hotel only a week before and would have repeated a previous 5 star rating.
Someone, was having a bad day.
There seems to be a lack of security there at night also room maintenance seems to be lacking.
Someone need to turn this place around.

Very nice, large room. Although check-in was a bit of a challenge as the front desk person told us that the stay was booked through Hotels.com, but it was booked for the next day. That was truly not the case as we always double check before we hit the payment button. Luckily the front desk was able to get us in since “the same room was available”. That feels wrong somehow. She said that it had happened before on that same day to another couple but she couldn’t get them in because the room they’d booked wasn’t available that night, so they just left. This was a non-refundable rate. I think if it hadn’t worked out for us I would have gone up the chain of command until I got resolution. Nice stay for just an overnight.
