I stayed here 7 years ago and gave the place 5 stars . This time they get 3.5 but that's not an option so 4 it is . Staff is SUPER courteous . Hotel and rooms were very clean . However , they need some updates . It's time for new bed linens and frankly , new beds . Fairly comfortable but definitely time for replacement . The breakfast sucked . Definitely not what I would expect for a Hilton . Food wasn't hot at all and just subpar at best . Tater tots on Sunday we're half cooked and cold . There should at least be either a sausage or bacon every morning but instead , on Saturday , there was pulled smoked chicken with all the fixins for a Mexican taco lunch . All my kid had was some tasteless eggs and cereal . She's definitely not gonna eat pulled chicken tacos for breakfast with pickled jalapenos and salsa Verde . For breakfast overall , they get a 1 out of 5 . I'll also be updating my Google review from 7 years ago . Overall a decent place to stay that's tucked away from the interstate noise and close to anything you could ever want .

Pros:
Large rooms, two thermostats so people on the pull out couch can be comfortable, ceiling fan in the bedroom.

Cons:
Rooms and decor are very dated, bathroom door opens inward almost touching the toilet so if the person in the bathroom needs assistance it’s not going to happen, shower curtains are just fabric and practically flooded the bathroom from one shower.

Overall a decent place to stay!

Others stated the breakfast was great. It was just par. Fine but not great. The hot tub blows cold if you turn on the bubbles - and no bubbling actually happens - just cools down the hot tub. Bummer. Otherwise, the room was nice and the bed was nice - both very clean.

We stayed at a Homewood suite in Orlando last year and it was awesome, maybe because it was new and everything was updated. So I thought maybe all Homewood suite were the same. Nope this one in Ocala Florida was terrible. It was old. We found 4 Q-tips in the unfold able coach. Ewww. It was disgusting.

We chose this hotel because we wanted to stay some place with a nice pool and unfortunately the pool was the one thing that fell short.

Overall the room and common areas were in great condition, clean and welcoming. The staff were super friendly. The breakfast was rather tasty with a good mix for everyone.

The pool was somewhat dirty and neglected beyond dumping plenty of chlorine into it. The hot tub was in disrepair and full of leaves. Right after we got into the pool a woman in a van pulled up and dropped her 6 kids off to swim. I'm pretty sure they were not staying at the hotel. The gate from the parking lot was unlocked so anyone could just wander in, and staff did not seem to do any policing of the outdoor amenities.

Other than the pool this hotel was very nice and wed stay again.

We booked this hotel because it had a hot tub but it was out of order during our stay. Property was run down, carpets not swept. I was sorry we were stuck there that night. Breakfast was the poorest on this trip and I believe we paid more for this room than any other on this trip.

The check in was easy, the room was big and spacious. While in the shower noticed no shampoo was completely empty and out of conditioner empty.. nor the body soap was empty.. The rooms do not have black out curtains so as soon as it gets daylight outside it's light in the room in the morning. The rooms are little out dated. But overall it's a great place to stay and very safe area.. lots of restaurants around and shopping in walking distance. Great breakfast as well.

Great Stay

We had to stay in a hotel due to an issues with roofers cutting our power accidentally. It was a late last minute booking. The host who checked us in was amazing and helped me get 2 rooms as close together as possible on such short notice so my family didn’t have to be on separate floors. The hotel rooms are very nice and the beds are comfy. I didn’t hear any noise from other guests in the hallway or above us.

The rooms are decent-sized and have a kitchenette. Some of the items were not maintained as good as they could be. The ceiling fan above the bed in our room was so wobbly it appeared it was going to break loose. Also, my wife really likes using the hot tub and we could understand if it isn't working for a short time, but it did not work the entire 10 days were were there and hadn't worked for some time. The reason provided was that they were waiting on a part. But really if they can't have a guarantee from their vendor to be able to have parts in short order, it seems they should keep spare parts themselves to keep customer satisfaction. The pool was nice though and the complementary breakfast was generally good - definitely above average.

The rooms in this hotel are in dire need of an update. The lobby looks nice and updated, so we were a bit put off by the \"oldness\" of the rooms. A friend said the same thing to me, so I know I am not off on this. We were in town for a swim meet, so we were unable to use amenities, other than the free breakfast which was quite good! This honestly was the main reason for booking with them, an early start for my swimmer and a good breakfast. That was great, and they had everything out really early like 6 am. The room: a little kitchen with super old appliances. There was unclean silverware in the drawer, dirty dishes in the dishwasher, and no dish soap for handwashing anything so I had to use dishwasher powder on a washcloth The bathroom had a yukky plastic shower with a terrible shower head. My daughter said it was impossible to get any soap out of her hair in the fine mist that came out along with no pressure. I showered and agreed. There is a tiny little basketball partial court right by the pool. We had to get some rest for finals and all we could hear was the bang bang bang of the basketball....we had to ask the dude to stop for a while. That was really weird. Bed is fine, pillows a bit flat, but I seriously do not expect perfection. I do prefer a more updated hotel for the price.

They had a nice variety but people seem to be used to acting like they are at home. I dont want to eat around people eating in their pajamas. The shower did not have warm/hot water at night but in the morning it did. We reported it and they offered to move us to another room but we had just unpacked and two of us took cold showers and were in our pajamas and decided since it was only a one night stand we chose not to move to another room. My boyfriend took a shower in the morning and the shower did have warm/hot water.

Second time this year we stayed at this hotel. My husband raved about it the first time. Love the space and full kitchen. Issue with shower head and the problem was resolved quickly. This is our go to hotel in Ocala. The staff there fantastic. Also utilized laundry and pool. Best hotel on 200.

The beds are very comfortable. Our room was clean. However, the shower and shower doors were full of mold and mildew. I suggested to the registration staff if housekeeping would simply use a bleach water solution at least once a month on every shower most of this issue could be eliminated. All the staff was helpful and friendly. Someone from corporate needs to visit this location and look at the grounds. Grass in most areas has not been cut, the shrubbery is in terrible shape with some dead and filled with weeds. It is not a pleasant view when entering or walking around the grounds. Some of the staff was actually outside trying to weed some areas!!!!!
