I did not have a positive experience during my stay. Upon arrival, I observed a delay in my check-in due to a hotel employee not properly assisting another guest with a room issue caused by a hotel error. When I was assigned my room, I immediately left because it had a strong odor of marijuana. After informing the staff, I was moved to a different room, but it was not the one I initially requested, which was a room with a king bed.

The kindness of the staff is awesome. Their professionalism is impeccable. Housekeeping smiles and is attentive. The server at breakfast keeps the area clean and filled up. Horrible experience. The sole attendant at the facility exited the door as we entered and left us stranded for several minutes not knowing that he was the attendant until he returned. The facility is worn and dated with poor cleaning. I was shocked at the condition.

Don’t stay here if you can avoid it. Nothing like the photos. The bed was very uncomfortable and our fridge had a horrible smell. The maids are only available early morning so my confidence in the cleanliness was nonexistent. Beautiful area, great food, DO. NOT. STAY. HERE.

The feeling this hotel gave me was truly awful. The moment I stepped in, I regretted it. As soon as I entered, a suffocating stench hit me. The dirty counter, the shabby coffee machine, and even the staff looked like drug addicts. The room was also filled with a musty smell. Water from the refrigerator was all over the floor. The bed sheets and covers seemed never to have been changed. There were hairs left by previous guests everywhere. I was woken up by bed bugs in the middle of the night. I left this place as soon as it was light. If you see my feedback, please don't stay at this hotel. Otherwise, I guarantee you will regret it just like me.

My son and i Booked this hotel,based on past reviews.First opened the door smelled like sewage,2 it felt wet in the room the whole time i dont think the air con worked properly
3 the beds were like sleeping on the floor ,went to office.and was blown off 4 it was terribly dirty and the bathroom was so small just terrible all around for.what i paid.

The room was an appropriate size for 4 people, but the sheets had stains on them. When I went to the front desk to ask for new sheets, the lady said that we dont have new sheets to give. I ended up going to walmart to buy new sheets to use instead. Only half of the usable outlets worked in the room and the mini fridge was inoperable.

So check in was suppose to be at 3pm. I arrived at 2:50 pm. And then stood in the lobby until 3:15 pm and was told that the house keeper still was not done cleaning the room. By the time I did get into the room it was a mess and then the house keeper came back like 20 min later to finish making the bed. I will not stay at this location ever again.

Property has a “pardon our dust” sign, but across the week there was not much indication that anything was happening.

The walls in the rooms are paper thin; I could hear everything in neighboring rooms.

Over 5 nights there was never a freshening of the room done; I thought something like that should/would be standard, at least midway through; as it usually is at other hotels.

The tiny shampoo, conditioner, and lotion bottles were refilled; this is fine to save on waste of tiny bottles, but even worse was that the shampoo seemed intentionally diluted with water, which seems like a really strange way to expand the life of it. The tub wouldn’t plug. You also had to basically stand hovered over the toilet or in the tub to get the bathroom door to close.

Having a fridge and microwave is nice, but the rattle and hum of the motor made noise, though not enough to muffle sound from the neighboring rooms.

Breakfast was ok at best, but was just a rinse and repeat of the same cereal, yogurt, and waffle batter.

The facility is located right next to a bus stop coming from the metro, with one across the street that goes in the opposite direction to the metro station. This was of immense value to help get around.

There are a couple of food options, convenience stores, and an Aldi market within reasonable walking distance.

I didn’t have too many interactions with any staff.

Even if upgrades do happen to the facility, I likely would not stay again, and would look for other options.

Room was better than some reviews here write. It was clean, the bed was fine, everything worked.

There are indeed some noisy and sketch-looking types sometimes in the parking lot.

Friendly breakfast tips: (1) Don't believe the 2-1/2 minute timer on the waffle-maker. They come out with partly raw batter. Instead, let your waffle cook 3 or 3-1/2 minutes. (2) When they run out of stuff (syrup for waffles, yogurts), INSIST the front desk clerk tell the assistant to get more. They don't like to be bothered. (3) Although breakfast is officially till 9 am, they start taking down stuff 10-15 minutes early. So, get there by then if you want breakfast.

No drinking water in property. Only a vending machines was the source of drink water but no water bottles in the vending machine. When tried to raise the issue, no one picked the phone in the reception. Had to find the hotel phone number and reach them and raise the issue. The person in charge raised his voice, was confronting, said that he is not the owner.

We had to stay somewhere else because this hotel lacked on cleanliness. The AC system was falling out of the wall in the hotel room. There were stains on the sheets and bedding. The bedding had cigarette burns (in a \"non smoking\" room) and smelled like smoke and other substances. The bathroom was extremely dirty. You could see right into the top of the toilet because the lid they put on the back did not fit. We did not stay because the hotel was very dirty and we did not feel comfortable or safe.

First of all I had to wait about 30min before anyone came to the front desk to check in . Second I had no house service my room was not dented to my entire stay . I had to go to the first desk for clean towels every day of my stay . When I ask the front desk person about why my room wasn’t clean up , I was told they do it every 2 days . I was there three day and still no one cleaned my room .

Overall, this was fine and I would stay again if I was just looking for a place to crash for the evening (which I was!). I was able to check in early which I very much appreciated, staff was courteous, cost was very reasonable, and I liked the proximity of the IHOP and public transit.

My complaints are that the walls were very thin and you could hear everything from outside your room, the TV did not work well, and the vending machine room looked like it had never been attended to and did not feel very safe.

the highway divider made it dfficult to turn in drive when coming from the north. hd to Uturn or use neighboring driv e to get in. good hotel breakfast IHOP next door good. small strip mall up the hill alittle came reccomended from family member. not enough room for feet when closing or opening door in batrroom from the inside.

Poor service and bad room quality

The room we stayed in had a heavy bad smell as if years after years someone smoked strong cigars in that room.
In the morning they started drilling walls next to our room at 9am when we barely woke up. Checkout was at 11 but we wanted to sleep as much as we could before checkout since we checked in after midnight.

I paid extra $20 to get the breakfast included. However, their breakfast is really poor quality compared to other competitors like super8, days-inn, etc. All I could eat is corn-flex with milk. No egg, no banana, no bread, no bagel, nothing else. They had a waffle maker but that takes too long and many people in the line. I could have great breakfast at a TimHortons with $20 for both of us.

Dirty!!!!!!!

Well I will begin with the rudeness of the employees they over charged me at the office as well. The room was dirty hair on towels, gum stuck to headboard, what looks like rodent droppings, floors were dirty, hair still in tub, back of toilet was dirty w someone else’s pee and dirt, dirt in the bed and when I called to tell them the room wasn’t clean and we needed towels cause there was hair on them he became argumentative and told me it was clean and they’re not switching us rooms. I went to lobby to get towels where he handed me two wash cloths and two hand towels and told me the have no bath towels. We had issues w the key the whole time and when we became completely unable to use key card he came and let us in w an actual key never resolving the actual issue let us in and walked away. When I went to check out the floors in the lobby were wet and I slipped. No wet floor sign anywhere in sight. Also there was a bag of food on the table in the main lobby that was there the entirety of our stay. It served its purpose as a place to sleep w no bed bugs but that’s where it ended. I will never return and will never suggest this hotel to anyone.

Not the best but not the worst

The staff accommodated us as we arrived early and gave us a clean room. There was only one towel set. Had to go and ask for more as there were three of us. Power socket by sink was hanging out of the wall and only worked if the light was on. Other plug with hairdryer did not work at all. Small hole behind sink. Doors drag on floor and bathroom door could not shut tight. Toilet so low that even I who is 4’11” found it too short. Have to stand in tub to try to close the door it was that small. There for four nights and not once did anyone show up to make the beds, take out the garbage, give new linens, towels. Stains on chairs as well and tv guide did not match channels. Breakfast consisted of waffles, instant porridge, apples, a small amount of yogurt and Cheerios/Frosted Flakes (or corn flakes). Sign says eggs but none. For someone who is allergic to apples or on a low carb diet there was nothing. Even if choosing to make your own waffles, you had to stand in line behind the help as they made theirs and then went to eat or sat at the tables eating. No cleaning of the tables. One day the help started dusting the blinds while people were eating (blinds are all along the tables so dust getting into food. Asked front desk for directions to the metro and they could not even help with something that simple. Kicker was that the phone in the room did not work so we constantly had to go down to physically ask for things. Also key had to be rekeyed twice

The area was not the greatest. The first room we were given was not cleaned. Dirty beds and garbage in the room. They did give us another room but it smelt like weed and old cigarettes and there was no hot water. The walls are not sound proof and the conjoining door was not very secure (I moved the fridge in front of it). Would not recommend.

The room was clean, (although the towels had stains) their were a lot of wear and tear on the walls, and the bathroom had wires not properly covered. Our garbage was never emptied and was overflowing when we left. We also had to find someone to bring us toilet paper. Staff in office not welcoming and not always in the office when we needed her (check in and check out) It was also hard talking to her through the bulletproof glass. The cleaning lady was very nice though.
