Surrounding area is beautiful though. It’s a wonderful spot to walk through and the scenery is why it costs what it does.

The pool was open however the 2 smaller kid pools and slide remained closed and one kid pool water was green. Not a luxury amenity hotel at all. Loud next door people with small children and we moved rooms. We stayed here during winter as well and still a low 3 of 5 rating. Expecting much better.

One thing that was odd is that there was no microwave in our room. Yet there was a nice assortment of tea bags....why? I was told that is true for \"Basic\" rooms. At the price one pays at this hotel, there is no such thing as a \"basic\" room. Don't turn the hotel industry into an airline where one pays for every single thing.

The parking experience was terrible. They charge customers so much money, yet they don't even build a snow-proof parking garage. After a snowfall, you have to dig your car out yourself.

We were so looking forward to our stay. We checked in at the front desk around 7:30 pm and went to our room to await our bags to be delivered by the bell hop. Finally, at 8:30, the bags arrived so we headed downstairs to grab some dinner. Upon checkin we were told that the restaurants closed at 9 pm. First stop was Sandy’s Pub but it was CLOSED due to a private party. At Six Peaks restaurant at 8:45 we were told the kitchen had closed so we could not be given a table. We went back to the front desk-8:50 pm by now- and were told that we were out of luck but were told by the young, pony-tailed manager that we could order Door Dash in Truckee. A nice assistant manager told us that every restaurant in Truckee but Taco Bell also closes at 9 pm. I wish the check in person had said that one restaurant was closed & the other could close early when we checked in. We would have waited to call for the bags until after dinner. Other than the helpful assistant manager the staff was indifferent to their actions. Unacceptable for a high priced resort property in a world class destination.

Our time at the Everline Resort Olympic Valley was absolutely amazing! The breathtaking mountain views and upscale atmosphere made a lasting impact on us. The dining (especially the Six Peaks Grille) and room accommodations were fantastic, complemented by great service that made our stay even more enjoyable. After exhilarating days on the slopes, we relished satisfying meals and comfortable relaxation. The spa, fitness center, and swimming pool were perfect for unwinding after our adventures.

A caveat to note: the nearby lift is only suitable for intermediate and advanced skiers. If you're at those levels, you're in for a treat! We're already looking forward to our next visit to this exquisite destination!

Staff was great at check in and very responsive throughout our family's stay. The location is great and proximity to the Palisades Village was convenient. Going ice skating and sledding are memories that my family will enjoy remembering. There were also three hot tubs and two pools. My family enjoyed the on site food options. The pub and the breakfast buffet were both good. Feel it's worth it compared to other options.

This place is fantastic. It's directly in the village but there's a resort shuttle to get you there (10 minutes away). Plenty of food options on site, we mostly used the coffee/mini mart shop. But dinner was great at Sandy's. It has a walk to lift right there and a ski check for convenience. I doubt I'll stay anywhere else on our next trip back to Palisades.

We paid a lot of money through Expedia only to find Palisades Tahoe did not have any snow when we got there, so we had to cancel the ski lessons. Then the second day we got there, the weather forecast changed to a winter storm warning, expecting many fee of snow starting 12/24. So we decided to leave a day early since we had to drive through Donner Pass. We asked the front desk if they could give us a credit since the weather did not allow us to do any skiing, but they told us since we booked through Expedia they couldn't do anything for us. Very disappointed and will consider not using Expedia in the future.

WE were disappointed in all the activities that usually happened on Friday (after Thanksgiving).... no ice show , no Santa arrival & no fireworks. Check in was difficult as placed in handicapped room (not requested on our reservation) & had to wait for another room / non-hanicapped. There were limited chairs on the pool deck. The scheduled activites, i.e. ice skating w/ Santa & live music and hot cocoa in lobby were very delayed! Just not the experience we have enjoyed over the last several years!!

Bearline Cafe had extremely rude service (miserable woman running register, not who you want to get your coffee from) and grocery items were sparse. Overall this is a nice resort in a beautiful area with amazing staff.

We booked an overnight stay as a quick little getaway before my daughter started school. The hotel itself was nice enough. The room looked like it had survived the early 2000s untouched, but it got the job done

We chose valet parking for convenience, despite the $65 fee. When I went to pick up my car, the valet had lost my backup keys. And the reaction was like a shrug, like I’d just told them they were out of ketchup packets

They promised to file a claim and follow up. Spoiler: they didn’t. Ive had to chase them down. Losing someone’s keys isn’t just a minor inconvenience, it’s a security issue, especially if you’ve got personal or sensitive stuff in your car

And here’s the kicker: they still charged me for valet. They lose my keys, act like it’s no big deal, never follow up, and then bill me for it? Yeah, no thanks

I wouldn’t stay here again, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone who values professionalism, or their car keys

Hotel is nice, but weddings take over a huge chunk of the resort grounds. The kids play area and patio are replaced with a giant tent. Loud music plays until late, and if you're using the gym you'll be doing so in front of hundreds of wedding guests.

I'd think such a large property could find a better place to host the weddings. Charging guests a $50 daily resort fee while repurposing many of the resort amenities (especially for families with kids) is pretty callous.

Not So Great This Time Around

We have stayed at this resort several times and overall really love it. The room is always nice and the pool is excellent. This time around though the bathroom was not great. Super small and the shower might have been the worst we’ve ever experienced. Zero water pressure (basically a trickle) and was lukewarm at best. Really disappointing considering this is not a cheap place to stay. Also the second night we were blessed with the noisiest and most thoughtless across the hall neighbors ever. Completely ruined both the evening and the next morning (super loud in the hall late at night and then woke early to screaming children). We’ve always liked this resort for its peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, such a bummer.

Very nice resort, a perfect location for skiers with ski-in/out and gear locker room. Hot tubs were really nice after a day of skiing, and there were several of them, so plenty of space. The restaurants were all good, especially Six Peaks (try the roasted carrots!). Also had good meals at the Noodle House and Sandy’s Pub (bartenders at Sandy’s were great). I thought the room rate was very reasonable given the resort’s prime location and amenities.

Everything is perfect. Amazing views! The front desk is awesome. All of the staff offers great customer service. The ski valet is so convenient. There’s a lift right at the resort and a huge fireplace to relax by after ski. There’s 3 hot tubs and two pools. Sauna and steam room. Cute little store and great restaurants on site. In room espresso maker. Zero complaints. I never wanted to leave.

Can’t beat the location with ski-in/ski-out right onto the gorgeous Palisades Mountain. Kids enjoyed the heated pool and jacuzzis late into the evening.

The $65 valet parking per night is way over the top for the Lake Tahoe’s open country. And to also tack on a $50 per night resort fee is typical corporate greed.

I have been a loyal visitor to Everline, formerly the Resort at Squaw Creek, for nearly 20 years, creating cherished memories with family and friends during winters and holidays. However, my recent stays have been increasingly disappointing, culminating in a terrible experience during President’s Week in 2025, which will be my last visit.

The most frustrating issue was during check-in when the parking gate arm in the self-parking lot fell on my windshield, causing damage. Thankfully, no one was injured. I reported the incident to the front desk, provided pictures, and was assured by the Guest Services Manager, Angelo, that it would be promptly resolved. However, after four days and multiple follow-ups, I was told no action could be taken until I provided a written statement, which I did immediately.

Nearly two weeks later, the situation remains unresolved. Despite being told a claim was filed with the hotel’s insurance, I found out Corvel, the company they mentioned, only handles workers' compensation claims and had no record of my case. Multiple messages to the guest services manager, general manager, and chief-of-staff (Kirsten) have gone unanswered.

I strongly advise against staying at Everline due to its tired rooms, excessive fees for basic services, poor Wi-Fi, and unresponsive management. Consider nearby properties like Northstar, which is a superior property and offer better operations. Opt for valet parking to avoid the risk of damage from the self-parking gate.

Everline Resort, a name that isn’t really memorable, but formerly Squaw Creek Resort, is a nice property attached to Palisades Ski Resort. Having its own lift to Palisades is great, having restaurants, shopping and facilities on site make it a very convenient spot to spend a few ski days. I’ve been several times and find it a solid spot. Especially this last trip as the restaurant options seemed to have improved. 6 Peaks Grille was outstanding, ended up going there twice and it was exceptional each time. Also have a pub and noodle house onsite. The staff is very helpful and do a great job. The rooms are getting a little worn and are in need of a remodel. A free breakfast buffet would be an amazing addition. The negatives: A $50 “Resort Fee” charged daily, that’s absolutely ridiculous and is now a widely used hotel gouging tactic that needs legislation to bring it to an end. How about $15-$20, but $50 is greedy and despite all the positives leaves you questioning ever returning anytime soon. Just a blatant cash grab, they can do better, and should.

People are smoking in the rooms

The overall of the resort is great. Very family and little kids friendly. We got a forest view suite on the 2nd floor and has a kitchen so we can prepare food for the kids. Pots and pans are all included. Only one thing we had issue was the room was a connecting room. And all the rooms should be smoking free. But the guests in the next room were smoking so much so we constantly smelled the cigarettes from the connecting door. And someone stayed nearby the elevator was smoking weeds which made the floor smells bad too. I complained to the front desk and nothing was solved till we checked out. Even the bellman came to help us with the luggages smell it too.

The view is astonishing but food is really poor. Never could imagine any restaurant can serve uncooked Mac and cheese and steak tastes only rocky salt. Never recommend this hotel restaurant to anyone. Hotel room is too small and very pricy considering noisy next doors and walking in hall way.

The staff of coffee shop(cafeteria) forgot my order and even didn't notice it. After I asked why my order comes too later than the other customers, they told me it was their fault. Their attitude was very unrepentant and didn't say sorry. They could be bc they're just ppl and ppl sometimes can make a mistake and forget. But should say just \"Sorry\".
Also, I wanted to deliver my unpleasant experience to front desk. One staff at front desk told me at first \"make short\". Is it right?

We’ve been staying at this hotel for 7 years during the holiday season, and this is one of our favorites. However, this year we were very disappointed with the very short list of activities prepared for the guests. The new management is not quite successful with the entertainment program. The previous management had numerous activities throughout the day, including activities for children, entertainment at the lobby, hot cocoa during the day, a coffee bar by the lobby. There were so many activities. It was hard to choose from. This year were none and that was extremely disappointing because the price per night is very high. One day There was a hot cocoa station by the lobby, and we were invited to enjoy it roughly an hour later I asked if there’s going to be one tomorrow and I was informed that this was an exception for special guests. I asked about a hot cocoa station, not a caviar and champagne station. I strongly recommend you reconsider your activities. This year they didn’t even have crayons and paper in the restaurants for the kids. Joseph at the front desk was excellent and very accommodating. Overall your customer service is excellent and we are looking forward to coming back, but we hope to encounter more daily/family activities moving forward

The landscape is beautiful. The amenities are nice. The was some wear and tear and the resort is likely going to need some updating soon. I loved the in-suite kitchen and spacious bathroom. The shower head needed upgrading but it worked. I think I could have overlooked all of those things except for the fact that my bedroom lights didnt work which was frustrating trying to get dressed for an evening out. I rates higher because of the service, which was excellent. The spa was overpriced and the the massage was mediocre.
