Property was Okay, it’s not a morden building so don’t expect Morden things However it’s surrounded with all Amenities needed for a great stay,
Staff are great, I ask for an Iron & was ask do I need an Ironing board….
Very close to the beaches with a lovely walkway

The property is well located, there is a bus station about five minutes walk from the property so if you take the X3 bus from the airport you you literally get off at the last stop Bugibba, and it cost only two euro. The national aquarium is about three minutes walk away and there are various places to swim and do water sports basically on the doorstep. The swimming pool was a let down as it was basically an overly large tub on the roof of the hotel. There are numerous different types of restaurants and pubs close by and at least two supermarkets Iceland and Wellbees, if you wanted to cook in the room. Our room had a large fridge, a two ring hot plate crockery, pots and pans. The room was nothing fancy, but it could easily hold a large family as there was a front room with two single beds that could be put together or separated as needed, good size television and a dining table with chairs. There was a bedroom down the corridor with a large double bed and a single bed in it. Since we only really needed it to sleep it was more than adequate. The staff were all friendly. I loved watching the sun rise in the morning and set in the evening and this could easily be done by walking for just a few minutes.

I was there for a full month. Kitchen not supplied with enough tools to cook a good meal. Two burner plate positioned at half level of counter, so low I had to sit in a chair to cook. No grab bars in shower. Not a place I would ever return to or recommend for more than a few days stay. Staff were nice.

This is hard for me to write, as the staff were nice and extremely accommodating to special requests. However, let me review some key issues:

CONS
- they did not respond to the emails I sent via Expedia. Fortunately I found an alternate email on their website and they replied to that.
- I was told to get off at the wrong bus stop, which meant a 20-minute walk back in the heat carrying a heavy bag
- upon arrival to my room, no power as the neighbour had tripped to circuit
- furniture and appliances EXTREMELY outdated.
- bathroom dark and tub had a huge patch on it. Water kept leaking out onto the floor as the curtain doesnt extend full length
- left a wet bath mat on floor for cleaning. You would think housekeeping would replace with a dry one, but no, I returned to the same wet mat
- walls are paper thin
- neighbouring tenant had children that would run around the room and halls and scream at all times of day, including late night and early morning. I asked the hotel to address this, and they wouldn't. Another guest has commented as well. The noise level only got worse to the extent it affected my sleep.

In summary, this property is extremely old and needs to be updated. It's also noisy.

Great location, lovely roof top, beautiful family

Staff were really friendly and helpful, lovely family that run the hotel. Thoroughly recommend, the only reason i left was to get an apartment long term to live in Malta but the owners were so nice that anytime i pop pass through the area i will stop off and pop in to say hello and have a beer. I honestly don’t understand the bad reviews of this place. I was a solo traveller and the room was very clean when I arrived. I had a kettle, microwave, stovetop burner, cutlery, dishes and everything I needed to cook my own meals if I wanted to. I also had 4 beds to myself when I was only expecting 2 and the room was much bigger than I had imagined. The television works great and the wifi sometimes loses connection but it is free so it is perfectly fine. The only two complaints I have are that the shower curtain was a bit moldy and the room is freezing at night because of the air conditioning. However, you don’t really touch the shower curtain when you shower so it is not a problem. They have hot water at night because I showered at night and the water was hot (previous reviews says they don’t but it’s false). They have extra blankets in the dresser if you get cold.

They sell adapters for €2 in case you forget one and they printed my boarding pass for me for free which was really nice. When I asked for more towels and soap they brought it immediately and they called the airport for me to request special assistance as I hurt my foot on the last day of my trip in a different location.

It is within walking distance of many bars and resteraunts as well as the Arznell bus stop (less than 2 minute walk) and the water! I would highly suggest staying here, it is a great deal for the price and the beds and pillows are comfortable. I would stay here again for sure!!!

Room was very big and spacious brekfast was cold but plenty to choose from our experience wasnt the greatest with ants on our table at breakfast and also òne of the beds was covered in ants which we believe came from the towels we received as we was on 4th floor the toilet did not flush the light switch was broken and curtains for balcony didnt close properly also the staff wasnt very polite as we was told to sush while she counted our money for payment also tv was a 2 pin plug and the socket was 3 pin was told to push a key in the top hole for it to work

It's basic if you are not looking for luxury but reasonable prices and basic accommodation which was spacious.

Near a lot of conviences supermarket bus station so was easy to get to.

Very nice friendly young gentleman checked us in works nights can't remember his name.

Says aircondition in the room and safe note that's at an extra charge. Iron in room at request means extra charge. Wifi did not work in 3rd floor apartment so l would start with the 2 hour one to check if it works first. We ended up sitting downstairs to use it. Breakfast is pretty basic and some of the flavours an aquired taste! Same thing everyday however is edible. No kettle in rooms and you have to buy drinking water everywhere in Malta.

So if not fussed about quality and luxury and more interested in sights it will do.

When we arrived windows in our room did not close properly Shower head broken and fans in room filthy my husband fixed all these things.
Supposed to be self catering no kettle plates or cutlery in rooms to we could hire a kettle. Breakfast same thing every day. Not a 3***hotel more like a hostel would not stay there again. MaltA itself is beautiful

WELL WORTH THE MONEY

Don't expect luxury, Staff are brilliant but in room catering facilities severely limited. Sink and microwave but no hotplate nor cooking utensils. Plates and cutlery available from restaurant. Plenty of space and excellent breakfast. This hotel has clearly seen better days but represents excellent value for money. Extra charge for air conditioning and wifi.

We had an amazing time from the moment we arrived. Elaine was very helpful and friendly. The room was great with having fresh towels and maid service daily. Breakfast was a choice of the cooked or continental.
The hotel was situated in a great place.
Would definitely go back and stay here.

It took two nights of misery due to an overpowering sewerage smell - to move room. I'll bet they haven't sorted the root cause of the problem. The second room still had a smell of sewerage but copeable with, if you only used the bedroom and kept the outside door open and kept the door to the living space closed. How disgusting. Don't thinking about cooking here, there is only a microwave, no cutlery, plates or cups! The ApartHotel is owned by the Bella Vista Hotel and managed from there and appear disinterested. Staff at the Point are on minimum wage so not responible, which is understanding. There is no maintenence done. Breakfast buffet you would pay to avoid. List is so long it becomes tedious. You can be unlucky with where you stay but hey! I recommend you avoid this disaster of a place.

There was no splash pool or roof top pool when we got there. The rooms are spacious but a few repairs were needed such as broken doors and table lamps. However, despite those minor details I enjoyed my stay. Check in and out was very easy. It is also close to the sightseeing north tour route, shops and amenities.

Good place to explore the island from.

Read lots of reviews good and bad - always make up my own mind. For the money was very good - basic apartment, very spacious, balcony with sun loungers and table and chairs. Central location to shops, bars, restaurants, bus terminus, fun train, aquarium, motor museum, tour buses.
It was our first visit to Malta and we will definitely be going back - we were in apt 5203 close to the roof terrace. Added bonus was the buffet breakfast - really good to set you up for the day - only tip would be if it could be served a little later than the 07.30 to 09.00 [we are on holiday after all].
Be warned no kitchen utensils and crockery or kettle - but good fridge to keep the drinks chilled.

The negatives: No cutlery / kitchenware at all, not even cups, even though this was meant to be a self-catering apartment (the guy at reception was brilliant and provided us with items and was very accommodating). Also, there is only a microwave to ´cook´ with. Beds not very comfortable. The positives: Wonderful large space in apartment. Hot water always. Nice sized balcony. Excellent breakfast. Didn´t use the small but pleasant rooftop sunbathing area and tiny pool but looked good. Perfect location for shops/eating places/bus station/promenade and sea. Unfortunately we would usually want somewhere with a more local feel. This is not a comment regarding the hotel, but to note, the surrounding area is completely touristy with all British food in the shops and eating places and pubs.

Nice place to stay if the focus is to explore city

Before going, we read the limited reviews for this apartment and were slightly concerned about the place we had booked, but took the chance, thankfully so. The staff was very helpful. The apartment itself is ideally situated and is walking distance from the Bugibba bus stop, where the bus from airport terminates. Bugubba sqare, sea-side, St Paul's Bay are walking distance. There is also Royale Casino at a walking distance. Also, quite a few shops next to the bus stop, which was very convenient. Our room was sea-side facing which made the experience better. Breakfast was nice as well, buffet style, with decent options.

The hotel staff were very freindly and helpful. The breakfast was wonderful, eggs, sausage, bacon, beans and cereal and location was close to shopping and the sea.
The room was very dirty, the toilet was not cleaned and was discusting, the shower was no better. The advertised kitchen was useless, no stove to cook, a small refridgerator that leaked water all over the floor, a microwave that did not work and no dishes, utensils or cookware. I would not recomend this hotel.

a good,clean hotel,for the price we paid.the lift on the 5th floor(our floor),never came to number 5.we had to go down to floor 4 & get it from there.the lift was broken the evening before we left,so we had to lug our cases down 5 flights of stairs.not good when you have a bad back,asthma,& a throat & chest infection.overall though,we got what we paid for.the breakfasts were good too.

A Place to Sleep

I picked this apartment/hotel because of good reviews. However, I was not very impressed. First thing, they changed the name to Aparthotel Bella Vista within the last couple years, so no one knew where it was. I took a taxi twice and they kept taking me to the Bella Vista Hotel, which is nearby, but not the same thing. Be sure to specify that the Apartments are located on Tourist Street across from the Irish Pub. I went with some friends and we requested a two-bedroom apartment. However, they booked the room wrong, and we had to make a bed in the kitchen area (really just a sink, in which the water is not drinkable). The employees were pleasant and they moved us to another room the next day. Everything was old and plain, and depressing, in my opinion. However, we had a balcony that looked out over Tourist Street and you could see the see, just three blocks away. Breakfast is simply toast, a runny egg, two little sausages and pork and beans. We didn't even try dinner, because we wanted to eat something fulfilling! The apartment is also really far from the major parts of the town, so plan on taking buses and taxis. By the way, wear your seatbelt because they speed everywhere!!!

The staff were very friendly. Air conditioning was broken and only one machine fixed the night before we left. The apartment was dark with only the patio doors giving any light. The balcony just about had enough room for 2 chairs with a lovely view over a building site/general dump. The seating area consisted of a table and 4 chairs with no sofa. A two ring hob was provided as it was a self catering apartment but no saucepans or kitchen utensils. The apartment was cleaned on a daily basis with clean towels and sheets. However we were disappointed with the apartment as a whole but the staff were lovely and friendly. Breakfast was included in our price but it was the same cooked breakfast every day, 2 small sausages, baked beans and an egg (bacon only served on Wednesday for some reason). Not sure we would return to the Aparthotel Bella Vista but Malta was lovely and the restaurants in the area very good for eating out in the evening (due to lack of self catering facilities!).

We have been here for one week holiday. The position of the complex is quite convenient (it is located near the most beautiful and populated area in St. Paul's Bay), but our experience was not satisfactory at all. The building is very old, the room cleaning service below the minimum acceptable level (no liquid soap refill, no towels change) and the shower very difficult to use. The balcony was \"equipped\" with dirty chairs and sunbeds, and the air conditioning device of the room aside leaking water into our area. In case your neighbours are noisy, it's difficult to sleep because there is almost no separation between the balconies. Cooking is impossible with the equipment provided. Swimming pool looks more like a tub than a real one. According to our reservation, breakfast should have been included, but we were asked to pay again at check in to add it. Not suggested even for a short stay.

Passable mais mériterait une petite rénovation !

C'est la 6ème fois que je séjourne dans cet établissement. Malheureusement, je trouve que cela s'est dégradé et qu'il mériterait une petite rénovation. C'est très vétuste et le ménage laisse à désirer. La kitchenette n'est pas suffisamment équipée (pas de grille pain, de bol ou de cafetière ...) En revanche, j'ai pu quitter ma chambre un peu plus tard que l'heure prévue. Je dois tout même vous dire que la localisation est parfaite, tout est proche (bus, resto, supermarchés, pubs), c'est juste en face de l'aquarium et la vue sur la mer est fantastique !

Stanza ampia soleggiata ed areata, rispondente alle caratteristiche dichiarate. Struttura situata a poche decine di metri dalla stazione dei bus, vicino a trattorie e servizi commerciali ed in prossimità del mare.
La zona è non rumorosa, il soggiorno è stato tranquillo e gestito in massima autonomia.
Personale sempre presente alla reception, gentile che mette a proprio agio e cerca di venire incontro per risolvere i problemi, sforzandosi di interloquire anche nella lingua dell'utente.

Wi-fi toimi huoneessa pätkien.
Näköala huoneesta ja parvekkeelta oli useille rakennustyömaille, alueella rakennetaan vahvasti.
Parveke oli likainen ja epäviihtyisä. Alueella usein esiintyvä blood rain likaa kaiken hetkessä kuin ei koskaan olisi siivottu, mutta kalusteet sielläkin olivat epämiellyttävän vanhat, kauhtuneet.

Je recommande les appart-hotels Qawra point hotel complexe, je suis resté 2 mois dans un appartement et clairement le rapport qualité prix est excelent. Le personnel est très très très serviable et aimable. Attention au service de laverie, le sèche-linge fait rétraicir les vetements.
La cuisine manquait d'ustensils basiques mais dans l'ensemble les appartements sont bien équipés compte tenu du faible cout d'une nuit.

Accueil et personnel très sympathique et efficace. Ouvert h24. Parking facile dans la rue ou rues avoisinantes. Au 4e, belle vue ! Appartement avec 2 chambres en plus de piece principale avec cuisine, salle a manger et télévision. Qawra est à mi-chemin entre La Vallette et Gozo, ideal pour rayonner sur l'île. Et avec ca, un excellent rapport qualité prix (fin fevrier debut mars)

Les équipements sont un peu anciens et certaines peintures, notamment dans la salle de bain, ne tiennent plus très bien. La clim à l'air assez récente et est efficace. Alles in allem vom Preis/Leistungsverhältnis her sehr gut. Enttäuschend war lediglich, dass in unserem Apartment keinerlei Geschirr vorhanden war. So hat man einen Kühlschrank, eine Mikrowelle, eine Spüle ... aber keine Gläser, kein Geschirr, keine Teller.
Ansonsten einfacher Standard, aber alles Bestens. Die Leute sehr freundlich.

Kan næppe kaldes en lejlighed

På billederne er der et køkken. Det eneste der virkede var køleskabet. Der var INTET køkkenudstyr, kopper, tallerkener mm. kunne vi selv hente i restauranten, men der var ingen køkkenknive, skåle, skærebrætter eller lign. Der var en mikrobølgeovn, hvor drejeskiven manglede, emhætten hang til pynt, for der var ikke noget aftræk fra den. Vi havde bestilt en lejlighed med balkon til 4 personer. Der var én spisestuestol, 2 plastikhavestole fra balkonen og én skammel/ natbord som siddemøbler. De to f sengene blev regelmæssigt redt, men ikke de andre. Skraldespanden blev kun tømt, når den var helt fuld. Poolen ser på billedet ud til at være stor, det er den ikke, det er et forvokset spabad, der står på tagterrassen. Vi havde ikke forventet luksus, men vi havde en forventning om, at det vi så på billederne var der og virkede.

Hotel calme, proche du bord de mer

Bien situé.
Cet hotel nous a été vendu comme un appart hôtel mais il n'est pas équipé pour manger ou cuisiner (pas de plaque de cuisson, ni assiette, ni couvert) !!! C'était la mauvaise surprise du séjour.
Hotel propre.
Petit déjeuner très basique dont on se lasse très rapidement.
Chambre très spacieuse.

Ubicación inmejorable

El Apartahotel es antiguo y necesita muchas mejoras, pero su ubicación es excelente para ver la isla porque está muy cerca de la estación de autobuses y de diferentes paradas. La playa y el acuario también están muy cerca, además de bares, restaurantes, tiendas...pero a la vez es una parte tranquila donde puedes descansar bien. Por el precio que tiene me parece muy correcto, incluso tiene desayuno incluido con bastantes cosas. Si lo que quieres es estar todo el día fuera viendo cosas y disfrutando de la playa y tener una cama cómoda, tu ducha calentita y además microondas y nevera para hacerte algo de cena, pues, este es tu lugar a un módico precio

Un cuchitril, muy caro para lo que es. Además cobraban aparte el wifi y el aire acondicionado cosas basicas. También tuvimos cucarachas enormes de acompañantes en la habitación. Hotel de la años 80 que necesita limpieza y reforma

Appartahotel

Appartamento spazioso ammobiliato con mobilia vetusta e maleodorante. Molte lampadine, tra cui una del bagno, non funzionanti e mai sostituite malgrado le continue richieste. Scarsa fornitura di asciugamani (2 set per tre persone). Mancanza di bidet. Aria condizionata a pagamento (3 € al giorno) per climatizzatori datati e poco funzionali. Tv molta piccola e antiquata presente solo nella cucina soggiorno. Bagno privo di finestre. La piscina pubblicizzata è in realtà una vasca da bagno fuori terra nel terrazzo dell'immobile. Sdraio sporche e ambienti in comune malcurati. Colazione abbondante ma quella dolce limitata a fette di pane con burro e marmellate.
