When we arrived they had no record of our reservation. In hindsight it was probably a good thing because the lobby was dark, dirty and shabby....certainly not like the photos! A lost booking meant we could find a better hotel without losing money on this one.

A solo male traveler will endure fine as the price was low. Owners are renovating floor by floor. So in the future, this will be a fine place to stay. Beachside view on a main road. KFC a short walk down the road. ATM one block away. Wifi is spotty and only works in limited area of lobby. Reception only accepts cash. Room was ok. Clean. No outside handle on the door.

First i booked by expedia , but at the hotel they cancel the booking and booked individual with 600 pounds more than the online one , bad rooms , the left not working regulary , i don’t recommend it at all.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE
I booked 2 rooms for me and my female friend who came all the way from UAE. We went to check in, the reception lady checked our passports and told us that she couldn't find any relevance in our names. I told her that we're not married, we're childhood friends. 5 minutes later, she told us that I booked only one room not two and when I showed her the confirmation mail from Expedia which says that I booked 2 rooms, she directed me to the hotel owner who said that they don't allow single ladies to stay in the hotel. I told him that I will talk to Expedia and complain about that. He told me that he doesn't care and simply he can say that he has an issue with the computer or the internet connection and he couldn't check the reservation online. An entire day from our 3 days vacation was wasted in finding her another room in Alexandria and after all the hassle we checked her in at another hotel with a very expensive rate as it was a very short notice.

First the pictures posted on the expedia was much greater than the reality of the hotel conditions windows are not working probly the infrastructure of the hotel is in poor condition the smell of the bathroom is bad because of the sanitation conditions my experience in that hotel will make me never recommended to any of my friends if you look at the posted photos you will notice it from the background

we had to change room 2 times, 1st one had bathroom with no window! 2nd had very dirty bathroom full of rust in the tub. Last one that we had stay in had a garbage view literally! The supposed city view was a view of a building's roof full of garbage that they had to cover the whole windows with web to keep out the flying garbage pieces. The AC wasn't working. The TV worked for 10 minutes with lots of static covering the program's sound.

Maintanance is needed
First there is misscommunication as I sent 3 mails with 3 reservations and the last mail didnt receive by Hotel despite i got confirmation mail
Secondly on arrival the room was not comfortable as the electricity in bathroom was out beside the AC and the bathroom itself

their credit card machine didn't work so I had to go get cash from atm. The hotel could use facelift and the bathroom room was just bad, and wifi only in lobby. The location is central but not close to anything you want to see.

The color falls on some parts from the wall which is normal for hotels 1st sealine. Cleanliness was in the beginning not so good as there was many hair in the bathroom and dirt on the carpet. After the comment the responsible woman for cleaing and the General Manager came to show other room and called after roomchange if all is fine. They do their best to make the guests satisfied. Breakfast variety was okay. Very good water pressure.

Погружение в местную жизнь Александрии
Начну с того, что выбрали не самое лучшее время поездки - почти все дни были местные праздники, в которые рано закрывались музеи, не работала Александрийская библиотека (в последний день прорвались и побывали в ней), не работали банки. Приходилось снимать наличные в местной валюте в банкоматах с комиссией.
Частично это отразилось и на отеле.
Мы брали номер с завтраками, первое время кушали с удовольствием, тем более вид на море, за неделю приелось, но готовят вкусно.
При заезде нам не верно оформили номер, но исправили сразу и поменяли на 10 этаж.Красивейший вид на море с небольшого балкона компенсировал почти все неудобства номера.
Весьма сильно изношенная мебель, сантехника, но всё в рабочем состоянии. При заезде самостоятельно провели санобработку, и к вопросу чистоты больше не возвращались. Номер нам убирали ежедневно (сказалось то, что из России у них редко бывают гости), но не очень чисто, полотенца не меняли.
Как и во всём городе, в здании шел неостановимый ремонт, точнее, даже, достройка этажей (11 и 12 этажи при нас достраивали, 3-й и 7-й ремонтировали).
Хозяин отеля очень радушен, помог с трансфером, подсказал ближайшие достопримечательности. Пытался говорить по русски )
Рядом с отелем (2 минуты ходьбы) есть круглосуточный гипермаркет - там принимают карты Виза. Всё для полдника/легкого ужина там есть. В шаговой доступности пляжные кафе, можно выбрать качественные и недорогие обеды и ужины с видом на море.
Вайфай только на ресепшен.

إقامة غير مرضية والصور غير مطابقة إطلاقاً للطبيعة
1- الفندق بالكااااااامل يحتاج إلى الصيانة و الترميم والتجديد حتى واجهة الفندق عمرها الأفتراضي أنتهى
2- الفندق ليس له أي علاقة بالصور التي تنشر على المواقع للترويج بل هو أسوأ مما يتوقع اي تخيل على أرض الواقع ..
الغرف المطلة على البحر ورغم إرتفاع سعر إقامتها بشكل مبالغ فيه ومفترض أنها الأفضل بالغرف لكنها كانت تحوي الحشرات الطائرة من البحر كالهاموش والناموس على جدران الزجاج ويصعب الدخول للتراس أبدا ليلا ونهارا لا يوجد نظافة أو رش للبالكونات الا عند طلبك لذلك وهذا بمقابل افتراضياً ( تيبس )للعاملات
3- طوال فترة إقامتي 4 أيام بالفندق يوجد أعمال صيانة ودق وحفر وعمال كاشفين حرمة البالكونات و شئ مزعج للغاااااااايه وكانت نوعية الصيانة هي فقط للخارج ولكن من الداخل لا يوجد أي صيانة أو ترميم
4- الإضاءة ونوعيتها بالغرف والفندق سيئة جداً حيث أنها لونها أبيض لمبات موفرة والطبيعي بأي فندق أن تكون الإضاء المعتادة المألوفة للنزلاء بشكل عام هي الإضاءة الصفراء الخافتة التي تدعو للإستجمام والراحة
و الكهرباء بشكل عام تحتاج للصيانة لعدم توافر مداخل كافية لشحن الهواتف وخلافة وهناك مداخل كهرباء لا تعمل من الأساس
5- و إحقاقاً للحق بعض من العماله هناك في غاية الإحترام ولكن الحديث إجمالا على الفنق وإدارته وليس العاملين .
لا أنصح بالإقامة في هذا الفندق أبداااا ولا حتي زيارته
2- الفندق ليس له أي علاقة بالصور التي تنشر على المواقع للترويج بل هو أسوأ مما يتوقع اي تخيل على أرض الواقع ..
الغرف المطلة على البحر ورغم إرتفاع سعر إقامتها بشكل مبالغ فيه ومفترض أنها الأفضل بالغرف لكنها كانت تحوي الحشرات الطائرة من البحر كالهاموش والناموس على جدران الزجاج ويصعب الدخول للتراس أبدا ليلا ونهارا لا يوجد نظافة أو رش للبالكونات الا عند طلبك لذلك وهذا بمقابل افتراضياً ( تيبس )للعاملات
3- طوال فترة إقامتي 4 أيام بالفندق يوجد أعمال صيانة ودق وحفر وعمال كاشفين حرمة البالكونات و شئ مزعج للغاااااااايه وكانت نوعية الصيانة هي فقط للخارج ولكن من الداخل لا يوجد أي صيانة أو ترميم
4- الإضاءة ونوعيتها بالغرف والفندق سيئة جداً حيث أنها لونها أبيض لمبات موفرة والطبيعي بأي فندق أن تكون الإضاء المعتادة المألوفة للنزلاء بشكل عام هي الإضاءة الصفراء الخافتة التي تدعو للإستجمام والراحة
و الكهرباء بشكل عام تحتاج للصيانة لعدم توافر مداخل كافية لشحن الهواتف وخلافة وهناك مداخل كهرباء لا تعمل من الأساس
5- و إحقاقاً للحق بعض من العماله هناك في غاية الإحترام ولكن الحديث إجمالا على الفنق وإدارته وليس العاملين .
لا أنصح بالإقامة في هذا الفندق أبداااا ولا حتي زيارته

non ho soggiornato all'hotel perché nonostante avessi ricevuto notifica di conferma, quando sono arrivatala la prenotazione era stata cancellata dall'hotel e nessuna comunicazione mi è stata notificata. il personale della reception non mi ha nemmeno aiutata per trovare un altra soluzione e sono rimasta in giro per la città per cercare fino a tardi un buco, presso Alex Hotel ho trovato uno sgabuzzino per 50 euro (una notte).
