We stay at this hotel everytime we come to Michigan and things normally are great. This time around they were not. Our blanket had a giant pee stain or something yellow on it. We also we're given 2 towels and when asked for more on Friday we were told to come back in a hour. An hour passed then we were told to come back in the morning. We asked Saturday in the morning and were told they didn't have any. Then the afternoon came. We asked for towels and were told they would bring them to our room in 1 hour. That never happened. Sunday morning I have to shower and use a small hand towel to dry.

My experience has been great our only issue is that someone apparently double booked our room last night and my husband and I woke up to banging on the door . I confirmed to night staff this is our room and gave confirmation, the night staff member questioned my identity when I showed her my ID she said that’s not name on the reservation and walked away never

The Staff at Hotel were Friendly & Helpful especially the Blonde Female Maid & Laundry Attendant. Breakfast was Great but could have benefited from some Fresh Fruit. Rooms were clean. I liked the option to do your own linen exchange at the the Laundry room. Overall a Great stay & I am still here.

This was a terrible stay and property. First if you can get past the terribklle smell of weed, know that it will permeate throughout the building. It seems like the property tries to hide it because it is mixed with heavy perfumed air scent. Upom chrcm in two people were trying to check in and were denied..who were cleary high on opiods sadly. It was clear from some patrons this property is their temporary home.
Room has cracked, stained and ruined furniture, bedding, etc. Drawers are not cleaned, etc. The morning breafast was bread loaf ends and stale bagels, we left and ate out. I needed to stay one quick night with my child as we had a sport tournament. Never again will I stay in a Laquinta. I knew better, I hoped it would be ok. Trashy trashy property.

Hotel feels neglected. Disgusting building for the most part. Breakfast selection was pretty good. Elevator is extremely sketchy, shaky, dirty, and in poor condition overall. Inside room was okay, but nothing was plugged in. I had to fish out the plug for the microwave, coffee maker, and A/C unit before plugging all three in myself.

When I came to check in I wanted to use a different card and was told that would be considered fraud. Then once I got my room, they gave someone else, that tried to get in the room on my daughter and me. After I told them it was my room the guy from the front desk came knocking on my door asking me how did I get my room. Then he called several times hanging up every time I answered. Finally I went back down to the front desk and asked what was going on. The guy said it was a mistake on his part, but that mistake could have gotten us hurt and he was talking to me like I stole the key to the room or something. Then dismissed me when I came to the desk. At breakfast time I asked about a hot breakfast and was told that the staff was on vacation and offered cereal. I chose a Wyndham hotel with Good expectations. I will not rent with them again.

Room 136 was the worst! Handicap room was not barrier free! Broken dresser, desk legs were “leaning”, one electrical outlet for fridge, microwave, coffee maker. Could not plug more than 1appliance at a time, all electric outlet covers loose-sparked when unplugged, mold in and around tub, entry door didn’t fit room, gaps on 3 sides gave a view of hallway from in the room. Security door into building was consistently propped open at night by anything available. Persistent smell of pot through the night. Management was advised. No concern on their part. Property not up to the standard of other LaQuinta properties I’ve stayed at across the country.

Thank You La Quinta by Wyndham in Canton! Exceptional service, attentive team staff, clean facility deligent hard working staff. Michigan had a snow squall after Wolverines game last Saturday.. &I extended my stay bc i took a new job out this way! & rescued a boxer puppy over Thanksgiving.
& I volunteered to help decorate the Christmas tree! Very nostalgic & staff made me feel like family here. I appreciate your genuine care with a peaceful nites comfort sleep. Especially I enjoyed the hospitality for delicious warm continental breakfast prepared by Tim to start my day! Very kind & service with a smile. we reserved 2 double rooms for 6 people to stay in & they gave them away before we got there. all they had left was 2 rooms with 1 bed for 4 people. i don’t get the point of a “reservation” if they don’t honor it. we couldn’t find a room for the other 2 people nearby so they slept on the floor with a blanket. worst la quinta experience ever

The room itself was not bad but the room was supposed to be a suite and when I arrived it was not a suite and they had all been booked. When getting into the room my girlfriend and I realized there was a human acrylic nail just sitting on the desk. The chair had plastic garbage in it as well. It was very apparent they didn’t care to clean the room one bit.

Problem with Billing. Paid for Reservation thru your app and paid in full. During our stay , Every Day someone (staff) kept rerunning our cash app card and trying recharge card for FULL AMOUNT THAT HAD ALREADY BEEN PAID.

The staff was barely able to understand English. The facility continues to decline with a very questionable elevator. Asked for my room to be cleaned once while I was there. It did not happen and it seemed like the clerk did not understand my request. The mattress and pillows were in need of replacement. The refrigerator was very loud as was the air conditioner.

The reservation was booked for two nights however we no longer needed the first night. I called the day before (it was too late to modify the reservation through Hotels.com) to notify the property that we would not be arriving on Friday as planned. I did not expect reimbursement but more wanted to make it clear that we intended to stay on Saturday night and did not want to have our reservation considered canceled by not checking in on Friday. After a lengthy and difficult interaction with the front desk staff when calling, I was assured this would not be an issue. When we arrived on Sat to check in our room was given away because we "forfeited" our reservation by not checking in. After much discussion, we were given a room but someone else was told they no longer had a room that was guaranteed. The room smelled of animals and smoke down to the towels and bedding. The door to the bathroom had 8 holes that were patched from top to bottom. There was a very large bag of trash outside of the door next to ours that was there from check-in to checkout. The only perk to this hotel was the location, but there were several across the street. Next time, we will not stay here (especially after paying for 2 nights and using 1!)

There was mildew in the shower, the carpet was frayed, the tile was sticky, there were holes in the curtain and stains on the bedding. It was obvious they had tried to fix a water leak from the room above. I could also hear every footstep of what sounded like energetic dogs in the room upstairs for hours until one of us feel asleep. I decided to skip the breakfast to be safe.

Very quiet and picturesque area. The property was well maintained and updated. Very comfortable bed and linens. My only issue was during check in the staff member looked annoyed I was there and continued their phone call while I was providing ID etc. Complimentary breakfast was a very nice addition with coffee, tea and juice but the cereal milk was souring unfortunately. I would recommend this stay to anyone passing through the area, it was a refuge on the road.

We had the worst experience. The room floors and outside floors were sticky. The hall had a bad odor. Almost half the electric switches didn't work and getting a new set of clean towels after two days of stay was a major conversation with the receptionist. The breakfast didn't include a single fruit. I wouldn't recommend the hotel to anyone.

We checked in at the hotel, we booked two double bed, we they gave me a king bed without asking us whether it is ok. After we got our room, we found multiple cockroaches in the hallway, bathroom. room is not updated. The second morning, we reported this to the front desk, they changed a two double bed room for us. The breakfast area's flood is very dirty, even sticky. Not going to this hotel ever!!
