I have stayed at this hotel multiple times in 2024 to early 2025 and would have at that time given it a decent review. This stay however the property and service have gone way down hill.
The room was surface level clean. However there was dust and dirty anywhere that wasn’t a regular wipe down. We ended up buying Lysol wipes and disinfectant spray to ease our concerns. There is also now a sign at the front desk saying each floor of the hotel only gets cleaned every other day. This results in people putting their trash in the bin in the hallway which also does not get emptied unless the front desk is called. It got emptied while on an off day due to it being overflowing which resulted in garbage debris being left all over the floor for a period of time.
When we asked for clean towels we were told that we had to give the old towels first. Not a big deal but they expected us to bring them downstairs to them and retrieve the new ones. It was like this for everything as only one person was usually working. Since one person can’t physically maintain a multi floor hotel on their own, the property has gone significantly downhill. This used to be a great place to stay for the cost but I won’t ever be staying there again in the future.

Broken doors, broken security locks to get into building, only 1 house keeper for the entire place, it smells horrible, never 5 minutes of fresh air anywhere inside, too many shady people staying there that are constantly picked up by Canton PD, the front desk does nothing about the illegals cooking in their rooms. The front desk does nothing about the marijuana smoke filling up the hotel either, I was gonna stay 2 weeks but had enough.

To start, they added a $50 charge on top of what I already paid at check in. When I got in my room i noticed a stain on the sheets. When i notified them, they had me bring the dirty sheet to the main lobby. It took 3 days to get housekeeping to clean my room. Non working vending machines as well. I definitely will NEVER return to this establishment. NEVER

I highly recommend not staying here. It was probably one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed at nothing word correctly. The toilet ran all night long. The TV didn’t were. The beds were hot as a rock outside was super loud and you could hear all the noises from outside curtains. Don’t even block out the sun super loud in the hotel for one smelled like cigarettes for two smelled like marijuana the overall Roma was terrible the front desk people had no desire to help you. They could not also speak English, which made it even more difficult. They also when asked for help Would just tell you that they have to call somebody first almost rude like when you do ask for help like it was an inconvenience to them. I had two kids with me during the day. Both of them had an extremely hard time sleeping because of this. Elevator was not working there was no signage stating that it wasn’t working either and asked I asked about the elevator. They said they had no idea we had multiple bags to carry up and down with kids. Didn’t offer help or any assistance again highly recommend not staying here unless you’re looking for a party or you don’t care about your sleeping ball cause you won’t be sleeping much here. Some of the worst mattresses I have ever slept on pillows are terrible bedding shower had no water pressure.

When we got our room there was no microwave or fridge and the no cords to the TV we went down and got someone to come fix it and after waiting 20mins we called down because no one had came yet we had left to get dinner and came back tv still was fixed finally they switched our room. We also had an issue with our key it would let us in the building but not our room we had to go to the lobby to get that fixed twice. Over all it was a ok place to stay the room was nice.

You get what you pay for in this instance. There was mold on the tub caulk, but the water pressure was decent. I had two towels and one washcloth, no shower mat. Toilet paper ran out immediately. The only light in the bathroom was from the mirror. The base molding was peeling off the wall. Plenty of lamps in the main portion of the room. Tv was decent with okay channels nothing premium level. The security deposit was larger than the cost of the room, i found that odd. I did not see any bugs!

My initial room was not clean. There was sticky stuff on the bedside table, chair by the bed, and TV stand. The bed spread is stained and dirty. I requested another room it was better. The area by the elevator reeked the smell of a dumpster on my check in night. I will not be staying here again.

The floors were dirty, there was no pillow case on a pillow. We had only a half a roll of toilet paper in the bathroom, and only 1 small bar of soap. The TV did not get the basic local channels and when asked for help finding them the worker was no more help than I was on my own.

Key didn't work

Because of an airline delay we didnt arrive until 6 am. We asked for a late checkout. No. Was the only answer we got. Key to room did not work. My husband returned to the desk for a new one, he didnt believe us... came us to show us it worked... it didnt. He told us he would go down and make another and let us in with the master key. When he didnt show back up, my husban went down. The desk guy was setting up breakfast. New key, still didnt wirk. Oh well, at this point we are only getting 3 hours of sleep anyway . Wow, this was the worst hotel experience I’ve had in my life. The hotel was dirty and felt unsafe. All night long a TV in a nearby room was blasting. Additionally, in the same room, a dog was barking uncontrollably. Regardless, I was still able to get to sleep. When I woke up, the dog was still barking in the early morning. When I brought this to the attention of the desk attendant he told me it was impossible that a dog was in a nearby room since it “wasn’t allowed.” When I asked to receive a refund for the next four days I had booked since I couldn’t justify staying, I was told I’d only receive a refund for 3 of the 5 nights I booked. Almost 2 weeks later, I’m still calling asking for a refund and each time, I’m told they will call me back. At some point, if I’m unable to resolve this issue I’ll reach out to their HQ, which seems so unnecessary based on a missed opportunity to apologize and seek to rectify the situation.

The positives: the room was clean, furniture including the bed were all as they should be. The negatives: the sheets did not stay on the mattress, one pillow had no pillowcase, I waited at the front desk almost five minutes before the staff member arrived. But the worst problem was the air conditioner, it came on for 5 minutes, then off for 20. No setting on its remote seemed to help. I would not stay there again.

My only issue was they had recently replaced the TV and not sure the remote that was with it was the correct one. Had difficulty finding channels and none of the channels matched what was displayed on the screen or on the channel guide in the room. Otherwise stay was fine.

While on a road trip with my son we were looking for budget, and this one was a winner. This hotel goes in the category of recently renovated. Everything in the hotel was neat and clean. From behind the desk, to the elevator, and in the room. Peace and quiet was the night. The only suggestion I would make is to hire a painter so the door trim in the hallway won't look so messy. Overall, very nice Super 8.

There was a group of homeless people in back parking with a fire barrel. The toilet seat was broken, every time I shut door I had to go get key card fixed. Sink was backed up so had to brush teeth with water bottle. For being a smoke free hotel the smell of weed was over the top excessive.

The hotel was subpar at best. The shower was nasty, the drain wouldn't drain and we had to dig out globs of hair out for it to drain. We booked the hotel for 2 adults and 3 kids but the room only had 3 towels, which they make you take back to the front desk to get more towels. The air conditioner leaked water all over the floor. The breakfast is a joke with a few muffins and a waffle machine. The juice and coffee they say they have 24/7 isn't 24/7. Another guest was prostituting a girl out in plain sight. Not to mention the guests being allowed to drink in the front of the hotel leaving beer cans everywhere. The hotel doesn't feel the safest with people sitting in cars for hours in the parking lot, don't believe they were guest. Not to mention everyone was getting bit by something, not sure if it was bedbugs or what. This is not a hotel I would recommend expecially with kids. I don't usually write reviews but felt the urge to write it on this one.

We had an absolutely terrible experience at this hotel. As soon as we entered the room, we were hit by an extremely foul and unbearable smell—like sewage or worse. It was so bad that it became difficult to breathe. Unfortunately, since we checked in very late at night, it wasn’t possible for us to leave immediately and find another hotel.

We somehow managed to get through the night, but just as we were about to leave the next morning, the bed suddenly cracked and collapsed onto the floor. It was extremely dangerous, and we were lucky this didn’t happen while we were sleeping—it could have caused serious injuries.

When we informed the front desk, they initially told us we would be charged for the broken bed, even though it was clearly due to the poor quality and condition of their furniture. Thankfully, they later admitted it was their fault and didn’t charge us.

To make things even worse, the entire room, including the bathroom, was filthy and clearly not sanitized. We were honestly scared to use the bathroom because it seemed like a health hazard.

We had booked the room for two nights but checked out first thing the next morning. This was by far the worst hotel we’ve ever stayed at. I would strongly advise others to avoid this place at all costs.

The motor in the air conditioner was very loud, and you could hear it kick on and off every few minutes. It also didn’t cool the room well. Luckily it was cool outside, so we opened the window and turned it off.

The light in the bathroom didn’t work consistently, and it was very dim when it did work. We asked about moving to a new room, but were told to just keep flipping it off and on until it worked.

The toilet was also very loud and would kick on and off randomly.

Property was run down and not very clean. The person checking us in took a copy of my drivers license, which has never happened before at any hotel. Checking a DL for identification is normal, but never a copy. He told me it was policy. Copies of drivers licenses Their good money on the black market. There breakfast was very skimpy. They did offer waffles, but had no butter! Not to impressive with the people hanging around the hotel. Appeared to be two or three different homeless people that were there each day. Didn’t feel real safe. When I returned home, I found that they had double billed me for my room charge. They billed me the day that I checked in, and again the day that I left. I don’t feel the management was very competent nor trustworthy. I will never stay there again.

First impressions are bad.

First impressions when we pulled into the parking lot was bad. Three people hanging around the main entrance, smoking and staring at us as we parked and walked towards the entrance door to check in. There was a couple camped in the woods next to parking lot. My wife was very intimidated and scared as we walked in the entrance.
Stopped at the front desk, employee asks our name and drivers license and proceeds to make to copy of driver's license, I sternly said no copies as I had already done precheck in before getting there including sending a copy of my driver's license and giving credit card info, told employee this and he gave me my ID and the copy made back. The elevator has a bad funky smell. We got the double queen room and in the pics the couch looks bad, and in person it looks worse, we didn't even put suitcases on it. The room itself was fairly nice, but the couch is horrible. My wife wanted to leave so bad but our card was charged and it was 7pm already so I convinced her to let us stay. I've been told I am no longer booking rooms for us.
