Checking In & Out went like a breeze..I was surprised to see the Shuttle schedule monitor..but..the front desk would take down all the particulars as to when you needed to be at the Airport which is very close by...they would give you a heads up of when to be at the desk so you wouldn't miss your shuttle ride..and to see if you were checking out or having an extended stay...Breakfast 5-9:30am hot and ready...there is also athe Hollywood Bar n Grill...opens round 5pm..My friends and I had a Great Stay..✨✨✨✨

This hotel has definitely went down over the years (we have stayed here many times in the past). Front desk staff was less than friendly. Breakfast is the least they can do and still call it continental breakfast. Felt like they don’t care about business much anymore.

Hotel is pretty rundown. My room has a jacuzzi tub that did not look clean and was not used during my stay. I got out of bed in the middle of the night and my feet landed in a puddle of water. Water was coming from the floor by the jacuzzi. I notified front desk, she said there was nothing she could do (understandable as it was very late and she was alone) and offered another room. In the morning while I was grabbing coffee, i heard arguing in the reception area. A female was speaking loud and being disrespectful and a male person was composed and respectfully trying to get a word in. As I approached the front desk I was surprised to see that the female was the front desk attendant and the composed male was a guest. I assumed the female was the guest and the composed male was the hotel representative. I don’t know who was wronged but I would expect the hotel representative to remain professional. I do not recommend staying here.

Check in was ok as it was only for one night and most of it was done through Expedia. The best thing about this restaurant is the bar/ restaurant staff. We haven’t been to that location in a couple years, and the bartender/waiter remembered us. He is always friendly. The breakfast was great and the hostess at that time was amazing as well. Parking was fine although we were there later due to flight delays but still enough parking spaces available.

Everything about this stay was terrible. Smells like mold, wall paper coming off the wall due to water damage. Staff had attitudes, the microwave in my room didn’t work. It was the worse hotel I’ve ever visited.

The stay met the bare minimum, no bedbugs (in our room at least). The staff looked miserable. Otherwise, the room was filthy with stains all over the comforters, food splatters on the wall, and a general layer of grime on everything. The place has not been updated since probably the 80s and the carpet was loose in many areas, causing was a tripping hazard. The toilet took a full 10 seconds to flush, and the “coffee pot” was directly next to the toilet. I would definitely never stay here again if I was in the area. At least the airport shuttle was on time to get me the hell out of there first thing in the morning.

A basic hotel close to DTW airport with free airport shuttle service. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The hotel rooms and parts of the communal areas are in need of update, there are many cosmetic issues like damage to walls and wall coverings and scratches on furniture. There were also some small flies in the room. The biggest problem was that the room windows are not sufficiently shielding from the noise of the airplanes - starting at approximately 5am I was woken up by loud engine noise which kept on repeating, making it difficult to sleep. I would expect an airport hotel to use an appropriate level of noise insulation. The breakfast offered a small selection of items, with tasty oranges and bananas on the positive side, and the weirdly smokey smelling coffee on the negative side.

two significant problems:
1) our smoke detector beeped all night. clearly the staff knew about it because it was wrapped in a towel and plastic bag. probably illegal
2) the shuttle is poorly marked. it's shared with several other hotels, and Comfort is not one of the logos anywhere on it. so we missed it and ended up waiting over an hour

The first room we were in had an awful smell so we switched to another room that was much better. The room was spacious and clean for the most part. The walls and lampshades could use some dusting though. They had good heating that was adjustable in the room. The hotel lobby and hall area could certainly use an upgrade. We were only there for one night, so the room served its purpose. The front desk person was great and accommodating.

Except for the noise of the airplane, which really did not bother us, it was surprising very quiet. We defiantly got the rest we needed!

I got the king size bed room with a separate jetted tub. The bottom of the tub was scratched and the caulking around the tub and faucet was falling off.

Also, I was there 3 nights and didn't get housekeeping services.

I will not go back!

Wasn't much in the area to warrant staying longer or strolling to see whats available for food options..The resturant was good and packed so be mindful of the time you go there..lol there was a limited amount of choices and noise from the planes but that was expected given the proximity to the airport but it was great to get to the airport quickly without hassle.

Cons: The condition of the hotel is old, tired, and dingy. The photos make it look better than it really is. Our whole room smelled. The carpet was completely bare in some places as if the fibers had been eaten by bugs or rodents (see photo). It was old and dingy. I killed four small flying bugs in our room. There was an unrepaired spot in the bedroom ceiling where a leak had been.The shower was a plastic enclosure that moved under my feet as I stepped or shifted my weight. The shower faucet handle had an inch of free play making it hard to adjust the water temperature. There was mold in the bathroom (see photo). There were holes/indented cracks in the wall (see photo). The battery cover was missing from the remote (see photo)--not a big deal but was representative of a lack of maintenance or care of the property.
Pros: The bed was very comfortable. The airport shuttle picked us up at 4:30 am and was right on time. The breakfast had a good amount and variety of food. Normally breakfast starts at 5 am but they brought it out early, before 4:30 am, so people on the 4:30 am shuttle could have something before leaving. They didn't have to do that--it was very kind.

She went out of her way to describe the best way to get there and she even programmed it into my cell phone to help me. Without her help, I would have been lost.

When we turned water on n shower it made horrible sound and black water came out.
Even though they advertise free shuttle to airport, no one answers when u call for return to hotel to get your car. Another service took us to the hotel. Also they charged additional $50 for our car to be there since it was longer than 2 days!!!!!

The room was fine. The beds met our expectations. The breakfast buffet was adequate with choices of waffles, scrambled eggs, and a breakfast meat, as well as yogurt and bread choices. Only 1 choice of fresh fruit. We had difficulty with the keys as they had to be re-keyed twice. The sidewalks and back entrance were not clear of snow and ice making it difficult to get in and out of the building
