The rooms were very comfortable. We had connected rooms with my teenagers. Clean, breakfast was ok. Montecatini is a good location to visit different Italian cities. Cafe, restaurants and bars are walkable.

Quite a nice stay but could improve

A nice stay but could have been improved in some areas. No towels pool side and when I politely asked I was told “wait 10 minutes” then they were dumped on a wall and I wasn’t even told they were available. The breakfast is the same old thing every day and it’s like a canteen. Fruit poor and I don’t eat meat or eggs so v little for me. There is no choice - breakfast is always included. The coach loads kept coming so it was heaving at every breakfast time. Staff mainly v helpful although not all. One v smiley bar girl and one lovely girl in the breakfast room otherwise everyone just doing their job and that was it. Loved the use of bikes, gym nice and pool area pleasant. If only it was no smoking - too many times I had to move to get away from fumes.

One of the best...

A really nice 3 x nights. We arrived really late to the hotel, thanks to numerous queues and traffic congestion at the italian border with France. Reception checked us in really quickly had the hotel restaurant delivered a late meal to the room. The room was recently renovated and in 'as new' condition overlooking the outdoor pool. The room was spacious, modern and comfortable. Aircon was a godsend as usually I choose not to use it however at low power, we slept well. Breakfast was good with a large variety of choice, and eggs and bacon were always warm and plentiful. Reception, restaurant and the lounge areas were always clean and inviting. Best of all was the outdoor pool. Practically lived in it! Always a sun bed available if you were patient. Hotel location was good, close to the bars and resturants. Would definitely consider rebooking for next summer.

Hotel was really lovely, relatively quiet so we had no problem getting a bed by the pool, might not be quite so easy if the hotel was full.

We were upgraded to a Junior suite which was amazing.

Montecatini-Terme is Definately a place worth visiting and very easy to get to in the train.

A hotel of 2 halves! Reception, restaurant, bar and pool area are all swish and modern but bedroom block was dated with worn carpet and broken knobs on spa bath tub. That said, I enjoyed my stay. Bedroom was large, quiet and comfortable. Staff efficient & helpful

the hotel lobby is very modern & lovely. the staff very friendly but their english could have been better at reception. breakfast was disappointing. unfortunately when we got to our room it was like something from the 1950's, in dire need of an overhaul.

Lovely relaxing Hotel

Croce Di Malta is a very good hotel, with excellent service and cleanliness, the breakfast is top class, and the pool area is spotless and well maintained, an added bonus is the two hour \"happy hour\" each evening when all drinks are half price. I would stay at this hotel again and would recommend to friends.

Good hotel, good location, good value for money

We stay in the hotel for 5 days to visit places of interest in Montecatini Terme and around. Good location for this case: close to the railway station of Montecatini Terme, close to Funicular to Montecatini Alto, to city center and other attractions.
Good breakfast and helpful stuff.
Only one problem in this hotel took place -parking .We received a voucher for parking from the hotel to park near the hotel, but usually parking places were full.

I was extremely satisfied by my stay, particularily because I don't speak very much Italian and the staff were extremely helpful. The breakfast was wonderful. The pool and the fitness center were great, as was the location next to the park. The room was spacious and comfortable, although a new carpet may be in order soon.

A Perfect Base for a Tuscany Holiday

The hotel is ideally situated within close walking distance of the centre of Montecatini. Its pool, reception and public areas are second to none and added to the overall feeling of relaxation and wellbeing that my wife and I felt during our stay. And this was much added to by the excellent Spa facilities available in the hotel through their Thai Silk Spa. Our room was at the corner of the hotel and from our balcony we had magnificent views of the town, the nearby public park as well as the wonferful mountain top town of Montecatini Alto. All of the staff were most helpful, often going out of their way to add to our experience. We plan to return to Grand Hotel Croce di Malta Wellness & Golf in the very near future.

great hotel for business people and couples.

Staff were courteous and polite but not forthcoming. A smile would have made all the difference from the reception staff. We had to ask about all the facilities available.

The web site diid not indicate that there would be a charge for the indoor pool.The spa staff were very friendly and smily and the treatments were excellent.

Well located for travel and conveniences but still quiet and peaceful. The rooms are comfortable - though the air conditioning is somewhat unreliable. The staff is friendly and helpful. Eating places and the railway station is within a walking distance. The indoor pool which is advertised is for all practical purposes not available for the guests.

Relaxing and restful

We found this hotel very clean and comfortable with plenty of seating around the hotel for relaxing. Our room on the top floor was lovely with a large bathroom and balcony with lovely views over the park and town, but very quiet.The only downside was that your need to be up before dawn to locate a sunbed around the pool area, as towels were on the beds at 6.30a.m., and feel that this is a policy the hotel should remedy as we were there for one week and were never able to locate a sunbed until very late afternoon . We would however recommend this hotel and location for convenience of exploring the nearby tourist attractions.

Croce di Malta Beautiful Hotel

The Hotel is beautiful. The staff are very nice with very good english. It is deffinitely a 4 star and I do not believe the website does it justice. When we arrived we were given a room in what appears to be the old part of the hotel and on the second night I complained. We were then lucky enough to be moved to the new rooms on the third floor of the new building. The manager on nights was very helpful and the staff were very helpful also. They helped me with the bags as I carried our small child to bed. This room was outstanding. It looked like a suite witha balcony and fantastic views. The pool is beautiful. The breakfast was great, with a great choice. The hotel is walking distance from the train station. Be careful with the taxis, they can be very expensive. 10-13 euros from the station which is only a 3 minute drive. Make sure you ask the taxi driver first for the price. The taxi drivers always look like they are not doing business (I wonder why). This is a boutique hotel with an upmarket clientele. There is no messing there and it is very relaxing. I would deffinitely recommend this hotel but be sure you get one of the newer rooms. There is a supermarket 15 mins walk away and it sells food etc., for cheap prices. The local little shops are expensive. There appears to be Farmacia's everywhere and they are expensive also.

The hotel is located in a lovely neighborhood, a bit too far to walk with luggage from the train station, but otherwise within walking distance of attractions. The public areas in the hotel have been recently renovated, but the room we had needed renovation; old carpeting, minimal decor. That being said, the room (a junior suite) was large, the bathroom expansive, though a shield for the shower would have prevented water on the bathroom floor.

Vi havde glædet os rigtig meget til dette ophold, men vi tog hjem før tid da det simpelthen var så skuffende. Morgenmaden var intet sigende og trist, ingen wifi, poolområdet var trist og kedeligt, værelserne lige så på trods af at vi fik opgraderet vores værelse. De var søde og rare i receptionen, men ellers virkede personalet triste over at være på arbejde. Der var ingen service, ikke engang et ‘hej og velkommen til’ når man gik ned til morgenmaden. Meget trist.

Hotellet var meget rent og ligger rigtigt godt placeret i byen, poole området og poolen er efter vores mening for lille til hotellet størrelse.
Det mad vi bestilte i poolbaren var ikke særligt godt, og helt galt gik det da vi fik vores cecar salat hvor kyllingen var erstattet af 4 rejer og salaten var bitter. Så den kan ikke anbefales.
Der var godt med personale i receptionen som var hurtige og imødekommende

Overdag is de bar aan het zwembad niet open.
De ramen van de badkamer kunnen niet afgedekt worden, de buren zien je blood in de badkamer staan.
Airconditioning werkt niet of de regeling werkt niet (het is te warm of veel te koud).
Rustig ontbijten kan niet, want het personeel rijd continu met een oud karretje door de ontbijtzaal.
Er is veel aandacht aan de aankleding van het hotel gegeven, maar de service is ver te zoeken.
Absoluut geen aanrader.

Auf den ersten Blick eine schöne Anlage, auf den zweiten Blick mehr Schein als sein. Balkone voller Taubendreck, je Zimmer ein dreckiger Plastikstuhl auf dem Balkon, im Bad verkalkte Fliesen in der Dusche, Toilettenspülung nur mit dreimal drücken, Frühstück im Speiseraum wie in einer Kantine, genauso das Abendessen. Keinerlei Atmosphäre. Die Kellner lustlos. Das weibliche Personal ganz große Klasse. Immer bemüht.

Albergo nella media non un 4 stelle sembra più un tre stelle, camera deluxe asettica diversa dalle foto della prenotazione , mancava la vasca da bagno. arredamento minimale grigio, cattivo odore probabilmente muffa o altro.
La colazione è da hotel 3 stelle , il bacon durissimo non commestibile, cappuccino da macchinetta automatica pessimo. Sicuramente il periodo pandemia ha inciso sulla qualità del servizio che necessariamente si è dovuto adeguare ed abbassare i costi e quindi la qualità.

Zimmer Deluxe sind prima, Pool klasse, leider nur 16 Sonnenliegen am Pool möglich, Frühstück auch für italienische Verhältnisse sehr schlecht. Kostenlos gibt es Rphrei welches schon ewig liegt, alles andere frische muss extra bezahlt werden. Schwimmbad und Sauna im Innenbereich ist geschlossen. Parkgebühren von täglich 4,00 Euro und Tourismussbgabe kommen noch hinzu.

Das Personal an der Rezeption war mässig freundlich,gab sehr wenig
Informationen. Das übrige Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Dusche müsste der Boden erneuert werden, ausserdem fehlte
der Toilettenknauf zum Abziehen. Fitnessraum war sehr gut, ebenso das
Frühstück.

Отель находится в удачном месте: с одной стороны парк, с другой улица с барами, вокруг отеля много мест для парковки.
Хороший просторный номер в новом корпусе с потрясающим видом на парк. Вкусный
разрообразный завтрак, приличная уборка, хороший бассейн с гидромассажными зонами, бесплатные закуски и скидка 50% на напитки с 17 до 19 (Апероль 3 евро).
Пишут про слышимость в номерах, действительно, соседей слышно, особенно уборку сверху и звуки из коридора, но гости все смирные: ночью спят. С улицы звуки не доносились, хотя у соседей во дворе шел ремонт бассейна.

Séjour mitigé.
Nous avons eu des désagréments à répétition durant notre séjour à commencer par notre arrivée, nous avons eu une chambre sans baignoire alors que c’était un prérequis pour nous au vu de la présence de notre bébé de 20 mois.
La réception nous a trés gentiment changé de chambre pour une chambre légèrement moins spacieuse mais avec une baignoire(mais du coup sans balcon).
Et c’est la que les ennuis ont commencé :
-La balnéothérapie de la baignoire a plusieurs fois fait sauter les disjoncteurs, nous privant d’éléctricité, si bien que nous n’y avons plus touché.
-les joints de la baignoire étant très détériorrés, l’eau s’est infiltrée sous la baignoire, inondant le sol de la salle de bain à chaque douche ou bain.
-le tuyau de douche s’est mis à fuir et a nécessité l’intervention d’un technicien dès le deuxième jour.

Malgré les efforts que nous voulons bien croire sincères, du personnel de l’hotel (très correct mais vraisemblablement impuissant) qui n’a pas pu nous changer de chambre(hôtel complet), malgré le dépit du technicien (intervenu 4 fois en 5 jours dans notre chambre), malgré le bon vouloir des femmes de ménage qui sont venues règulierement essorer l’eau au sol de la salle de bain...
Que dire de plus ...mauvaise chambre, mauvais jour ?

J’ai aimé la chambre très spacieuse avec balcon, et la situation de l’hôtel.

La piscine également mais elle est petite pour la capacité de l’etablissement.

J’ai regretté le simple vitrage de la chambre (pour le bruit),l’absence de piscine interieure accessible à toute la famille, et surtout l’abséance de parking réservé à l’hôtel.

La petit déjeuner est bon mais cela manque de fruits frais, de jus pressés...

Отель хороший. Но есть некоторые моменты: завтрак одно и тоже, маленький выбор. От Полотенец на теле остаются белые нитки и катушки -это ужасно портило отдых. Но самое главное, девушка на ресепшене , очень не адекватно вела себя, видимо что то у нее произошло и она решила срываться на гостях отеля. Хорошо , что управляющая отеля оказалась профессионалом своего дела и убрала эту девушку с ресепшн.

Buona posizione dell albergo, buona l accoglienza, buona la colazione, cattiva pulizia delle camere. Arrivato sono entrato nella stanza e sul pavimento del bagno ho visto un gruppo di capelli ed il pavimento sporco. Non ho detto nulla pensando che il giorno dopo venisse pulito bene. Invece il pavimento è rimasto così sporco e con la presenza di quei capelli per tutto il mio soggiorno che è consistono in 4 notti e 5 giorni. Altra cosa negativa è stata la mancanza di coordinazione tra l albergo e la spa dello stesso albergo. Alla spa mi dicono che la prenotazione dei massaggi posso farla anche dopo la chiusura presso la reception dell albergo. Qui al momento della mia richiesta di prenotazione mi dicono che non sanno nulla. Poi il venerdì prenoto per l ultimo giorno (domenica mattina) la spa per un massaggio di circa un ora alle 11,30 orario di apertura della spa stessa. Avrei dovuto quella mattina lasciare la stanza alle 12,ma la spa mi dice che avrebbe detto alla reception di lasciarmi la stanza fino alle due. Il sabato sera chiedo conferma alla reception di tutto cio'. Alla reception mi rispondono che la spa non gli aveva detto nulla e che comunque avrei dovuto lasciare la camera alle 12 per le pulizie per nuovi ospiti che sarebbero entrati alle 15.Quindi ho dovuto disdire l appuntamento alla spa

Zimmer im Nebengebäude war sehr abgewohnt

Wir haben das Hotel als Ausgangspunkt für mehrere Tagesausflüge in der Toskana genutzt. Dafür ist die Lage ideal. Man ist in wenigen Minuten auf der Autobahn und erreicht Florenz und Pisa in weniger als einer Stunde. In Montecatini Terme machen deshalb viele Busgruppen Station. Im Hotel selbst waren das Frühstück und der gepflegte Außenpool die Höhepunkte. Unser Zimmer im Nebengebäude verdiente die vier Sterne allerdings nicht. Es war komplett abgewohnt und renovierungsbedürftig. Auch im Flur sind Wasserschäden offensichtlich. Ich schätze, dass die letzte Modernisierung des Nebengebäudes mindestens 30 Jahre zurückliegt. Der Massentourismus hat dort deutliche Spuren hinterlassen. Für den Preis war es einigermaßen in Ordnung. Man sollte allerdings nicht mit den üblichen Erwartungen an ein Vier-Sterne-Grand-Hotel einchecken.

Buona sera abbiamo soggiornato in questo hotel il primo di settembre carino molto disponibile il personale dell hotel per quanto riguarda il centro benessere a signora è stata molto scortese e maleducata secondo me L hotel acquisterebbe molto di più togliendo questa persona arrogante la coppia che era con noi anche loro sono rimasti stupiti dalla scortesia della signora alla reception del benessere tutto il resto molto buono

Gemütliches Hotel mit netten Anlagen

Das Hotel hat eine ruhige und zentrale Lage. Man war in 3 Minuten in der Ortsmitte und man kann sein Auto ohne Bedenken dort abstellen. Zimmer sowie Lobby sind sehr schön eingerichtet. Außerdem hat man im ganzen Hotel einen guten WLAN-Empfang. Das Badezimmer ist sehr geräumig und immer schön sauber.

Das Frühstück hat geschmeckt. Besonders daran war, dass man sich Omelette oder Waffeln beim Koch machen lassen konnte.

Wenn man will kann man sich beim Thai Silk Spa massieren lassen. Die Masseurin ist professionell und gut ausgebildet.

Hotel vicino al centro

Mi sarebbe piaciuto poter dare una buona valutazione a questo hotel considerato uno dei migliori 4 stelle., ma probabilmente da chi non ci é mai stato.
Nonostante la bella struttura, e una bella, ma, sottodimensionata area esterna con piscina) (non sono riuscito a prendere neanche una sdraio in 6 giorni) , purtroppo il mio soggiorno di 6 notti, non é stato il massimo.
Prima nota negativa, nella mia camera non c'era il segnale wifi, seconda nota, nonostante un nuovo smart tv samsung (smart tv non usabile in quanto no wifi) si vedevano solo i canali rai. hanno risolto il problema solo il pomeriggio del sesto giorno di permanenza. terza nota, Nella camera è presente una moquette, a mio parere abbastanza datata, e piena di polvere, non abbastanza igienizzata, in quanto l'addetta alla camera ha solo un aspirapolvere e non un lavamoquette a vapore come si dovrebbe avere per igenizzare un ambiente dove soggiornano centinaia di persone diverse. Cuscini incredibilmente scomodi!!!!

La colazione é sicuramente migliorabile, servendo un caffè decente e dei succhi decenti e degli affettati decenti, come dovrebbe servire un vero Hotel 4 stelle.
Altra nota negativa é il parcheggio. Circa 3€ al giorno per le strisce Blu
se fortunfato a trovi il posto vicino altrimenti anche a 3/400 metri.
