Don’t believe the ratings!

The current rating of this hotel, in no way is accurate. It was ranked 6/10. I would give it a 2/10. It was very old and in poor condition. It may have been clean, but it’s so old I couldn’t tell. Half the time the lift did not work.

I’ve been staying there every year since 2015. Unfortunately it has become run-down. The hotel staff are nice folks and helpful. Hopefully they’ll give the place some TLC soon and improve the condition of the building.

Good hotel for the price.

Hotel was good for the price. Room was decent in size and everything was clean. Didn't get to try the breakfast. They are weirdly strict about the no guest policy.

It was ok.

The room is smaller than it appears in the ad. Bed is comfortable. Staff will try to be mostly accommodating. I was there recovering from surgery and there was an issue initially allowing visitors and outside food. Breakfast is good. WiFi worked less than 50% of the time. There’s maybe 2-3 English tv channels. Nearby decent restaurants.

There's no operable windows inside the unit. The AC doesn't bring in fresh air. The room and the corridor smells. They try to cover it with air fresher, which doesn't help at all. The front desk tells you that the breakfast is 6:00-10:30am. When you are there at 10:10am, the staff will tell you that the breakfast is already closed. Or when you come in at 6:00am, they will tell you the food is not ready. The neighborhood is fine compare to some other areas in the city.

AC Not Working!

I had booked 3 rooms. The AC in one of the rooms was not working. It is extremely hot and humid at this time of the year in India. To have a room with no working AC is totally unacceptable. We requested for another room, however we were told that all the rooms are booked and there are no rooms available. The hotel staff gave us a standing fan.

I would like to please request a refund for one room.

Once upon a time Coral tree was one of the good hotel in Bangalore but now it is worst hotel.
Receptionist are not at all professionals, room conditions are pathetic, house keeping is horrible and room dining is also very bad. I will never ever recommend this hotel to any one in my whole life.

Good hotel for a short stay.
Pros- Comfortable bed, friendly and helpful staff, good food.
Cons- Wifi wasn't working very well, shower curtains were dirty.
I had requested specifically for a king bed when I booked but was given a twin bed room when I checked in. The night shift front office representative did not agree at first and told me that rooms were not available. When I was adamant about changing my room, I was asked to wait till morning and even then I had to remind them twice before my room was changed. But fortunately, that was the only hassle I faced. The staff are otherwise helpful.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. They knew exactly how to treat their customers.
A very good place to stay. The room was clear and tidy and was very comfortable.
Food was also ok.

The best thing was the friendly and helpful hotel staff.

located at right place where we wanted.

Parking not available in premises of hotel but to be done on road. Cars can be vandalized and get dirty. Food was good but breakfast for late comers not enough. Better tiolet accessories need to be given. No hand towels in bathroom.

Comfortable hotel

I booked a room for three persons in this hotel, through Expedia but when I wanted to add one more room as suddenly I have one more traveller in my group, Expedia was not offering any help, when I called the hotel, I found that there was no reservation. I wrote to both Expedia and the hotel and they offered a single room to me and allowed us to occupy two and two to each room. The service of the hotel in handling my problem was good and assuring than Expedia's.

Great stay at affordable price

At first, the area looked slightly dodgy. Close to the airport though. To my surprise, Coraltree turned out to be amazing. The stay was fantastic and it was value for money. For the class of hotel, I paid less than 25Usd a night. A highly recommended place.

Good hotel to stay for. No complaints as such.

Over all Good Experience. No complaints as such. Only that Wifi was not working for the whole 5 days of my stay.
rooms are good in terms of cleanliness. Slightly cramped space in side room but cant expect more in the price at which We good per night. . It is in the area where you can easily get good restaurant and banded fastfood joints near by. Breakfast was decent.

Surprisingly excellent hotel

One doesn't expect much out of a hotel in India (not after a little experience anyway), nor does one expect much for a hotel that costs under $50 a night...so Coraltree blew us away.

The bed was exceedingly comfortable, the staff helpful and friendly, the entire facility very clean. Did I mention how comfortable the bed was.

The room was equipped with hot water and a Western shower (no bucket and mug), as well as a Western toiled, all in a clean and spacious bathroom.

The free breakfast was very nice and it wasn't terribly far from the train station. All in all, we half wished we were spending our whole vacation here and not just passing through.

I would recommend it to any Westerner staying in Bengaluru.

Coral Tree is a good value for money. Only difficulty is getting to and from the Hotel upto Mekhri Circle Bus stop. Coral Tree should start offering a Free Drop Service upto Mekhri Circle.

Disappointing - will not recommend for families

I would recommend this hotel only for business travelers who need a place to just sleep overnight. The hotel lobby and corridors leading to the rooms were stinking. They had put some freshener that was extremely strong and repulsive.

Also, despite my request for a single king sized bed and non-smoking rooms, they provided me with a smoking room and two single beds. The person at the reception was rude in responding to my request for a different room mentioning that there were no rooms. I frankly dont buy this response as I did not see too many rooms being occupied.

OK for a backpacker, terrible for anyone else

We were kept waiting over 1 hour for our room (although we advised on arrival time); wifi is painfully slow and on several occasions stopped completely because they hadn't printed enough wifi passwords and had to 'send out' for more; service is slow and 24 hour dining non-existent; sheets have stains (dark red) and there is a strange smell in rooms.

OK if you want a budget stay and don't mind bare bones amenities, but for the price it is seriously lacking and needs to step up its game.

Disappointment with the service.

The experience in staying this hotel was very horrible, although it was second visit. No proper service provided, calling room service twice or thrice then also no proper service was held. While checking out, we need to carry our own luggage to the reception although it was informed in advance check out. Very Disappointed with the service provided. therefore decided not to take this hotel in future.
