We had a wonderful stay at the Holiday Inn in Vienna, Austria. After landing early in the morning, we took an Uber from the airport with no difficulty and arrived at the hotel quickly. Even though check-in wasn’t officially until 3:00 PM, the receptionist was incredibly thoughtful and accommodating. Since we are members, they were kind enough to give us our room right away, which we truly appreciated after our flight.

The hotel is in a great location. It’s about a 20-minute walk to the Opera House and the city center, making it very convenient for sightseeing. The surrounding area is clean, safe, and full of great restaurants and places to explore.

We were traveling as three adults and found the accommodations very comfortable. On our last day, after returning from Innsbruck, the manager surprised us by upgrading us to a beautiful suite. It was very spacious and had all the amenities we needed, which made the end of our trip extra special.

Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would definitely recommend staying here when visiting Vienna.

Amazing service, the ladies in reception were fantastic, they were so kind extremely helpful! The service in the restaurant and bar was also amazing, everyone we came in contact with were extremely polite and helpful. The room is small but it had everything we needed. It’s close enough to town so we could walk to most places if interest! Definitely recommend it. Thanks team for a great stay!!!

We had a garden room which was lovely and very spacious. All the staff were really friendly. The reception staff were very informative and helpful. I would like to say a special mention to the young lady who ran the bar and restaurant in the evening. She was really lovely - so much so that we decided to eat there both evenings. The food was really good both for breakfast and evening meal. Thank you for our lovely stay!

Checked into a very nice room. Then at about 22:00 the lights/ac started to flicker on and off over the next 30 minutes, then off totally. Front staff tried to help by swapping cards at entry. Wouldn’t work. Offered to change rooms. The outside wall where the tv is had power. Was able to plug in cpap machine and phones.
Next morning maintenance came in and replaced the card reader. Worked great until 20:00, lights out. Hotel upgraded our room to a suite. Very nice after that. Staff was friendly and helpful but these kinds of problems can’t be anticipated. A pain for us but couldn’t expect anything more from staff

I’m a fast walker and it was solid 15 min to city center but I loved it. Very easy and allowed me to explore areas outside of the tourist spots. I would come back!

The property is well maintained, the room was comfortable and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. It is close to public transport options so getting to and from the city center was a breeze.
If you have mobility issues and/or use a wheelchair it may be a bit challenging As there are some steps, and some ramps, when available, are terribly steep.

I loved my stay at Holiday Inn. The room was clean, warm, there were enough hangers to put clothes, and other nice complimentary touches. The location was excellent and I felt safe walking back at night. You could walk to most tourist sights within 25 minutes and I rarely had to take public transportation. There were multiple big chain grocery stores within 7 minutes' walk with the closest one being 5 minutes and also a number of restaurants nearby. The bus stop to the Vienna main station is also within 3 minutes. I would stay here again!

i dont rate properties very often but for this one i will take the time.

Front desk TOP notch...SOOO helpful and friendly.

But the best thing was the bed. We all get hotels to sleep and so often I am disappointed in the beds. Not these...I slept like i was at home.

You wont be disappointed in this hotel...snd btw..the breakfast is great.

One other thing..if you like Indian food...Spice of India a couple doors down was wonderful as well.

Staying here at the holiday inn was a pleasant surprise, quite unlike the holiday inns back in Canada. I expected a not too expensive but mediocre hotel, I found everything here was excellent. The staff were great, attentive and friendly, the atmosphere was comfortable and not stuffy like some hotels. The breakfast was a great deal, a good variety, with different dishes each day and well prepared. The wait staff in the morning, were exceptional, one of the girls working there always remembered, I wanted gluten free bread, ‘I have celiac’s’. And would always offer to get some before I even asked.
The chef would substitute things in dishes to make it gluten free for me, and I had the best meal I have ever had in Vienna of sea bass at a very reasonable price. This is one hotel I would you recommend that you eat in and not always dine out.
It also had an adequate weight room, most hotel gyms are a joke.
It’s located pretty close to the Museum quarter, about a 15 min walk and close to many grocery stores and restaurants.
I found for the price, this hotel was exceptional, I stayed for over a week and it was one of the best things in my trip to Vienna. I travel a lot and stayed in many hotels, and in my 30 plus years of traveling around the globe, this was the best hotel I have ever stayed at. And one I will always come back too when I’m in Vienna.

Always a fantastic breakfast laid out there.. The staff are the real starts. You couldn't find a nicer or more helpful group of people.
The location is terrific. Easy to get anywhere quickly thanks to the underground Kettenbrückengasse Station near by. It's also a pleasant walk to get into the center of town if you have 15 minutes.

Front desk staff very nice. Room was clean and was a good size. Bathroom was good size. The underground system was about 15min walk but it is a safe area around the hotel. Was money well spent and would recommend and would return again.
