Their alarm was going on and on through the night. Kept me up the whole night.
Slipped over in the pool area, it was super slippery. Hurt my right hand and right foot.
The rooms were great.
But having a receptionist that speaks broken English, was frustrating.
The manager not being contacted cause it was a Friday and they were away.
Really just no love shown for the property. Could be great.

We travel often as a family and have stayed in countless hotels over the years. This is the first time we've ever felt we had to leave and find another hotel after checking in.
At first, the room had a slight musty smell, but after we went out for dinner and shopping and came back, the odor had become overwhelming. The entire room smelled like dirty socks mixed with a wet dog. It wasn't confined to one area—it filled the whole room and made it impossible to stay.
We went to the front desk and asked if we could be moved to another room or receive a refund since we were leaving. We were told there was nothing they could do because of their policy. We even texted the hotel to let them know we were leaving, and no one ever responded.
We ended up paying for another hotel because there was no way our family could spend the night in that room. It's incredibly disappointing that the hotel wouldn't stand behind the quality of the room or work with us on a reasonable solution.
I would not stay here again and cannot recommend this property to anyone. If customer service and clean, odor-free rooms are important to you, I'd look elsewhere.

We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Both were nice sized and maintained. The free breakfast was what you would except and there was something for everyone. The room itself was a bit rundown and plain, but clean and served its purpose. For the money, this was a good option. Friendly and helpful staff!

The elevator was out of service, as was the hot tub, the hallway smelled like fish, the room smelled like chlorine, there are very bright lights outside the windows and the blackout curtains do not keep the light out, the air conditioner was very loud. It was very difficult to sleep. There were various condition and cleanliness issues. I would not recommend staying at this hotel.

Our room had an awful musty, stale smokey smell and was filthy. The walls and dresser were dirty with food or something smeared/splattered in places, the matress covers were unwashed with stains, dirt, and hair. If every hotel in the area weren't booked solid, we would have switched hotels. I would not stay there again, nor would I recommend it to others.

It definitely has everything that it says it does (IE: hot tub, pool and breafast, etc.). The hot tub looked grubby and the entire place smelled like chlorine. My room was on the 2nd floor towards the back and you could still smell it. The hand sanitizer station by the breakfast was empty and when we asked the front desk person, they simply said, \"then we're out\". Needless to say, we didn't eat. The rooms looked worn and the TV wasn't working- the person they were sending to fix it, never arrived before we left. I was fooled by the affiliation with Wyndham but, I won't be back.

Plenty clean where it counts (sanitary, no bugs, etc), though there were candy wrappers on the floor of our room, and a toenail on the bedside table, which necessitated a closer inspection to make sure it was indeed not filthy underlying.

We arrived late at night, booked here instead of somewhere a bit cheaper because of the pool. The pool was cloudy and by morning it was closed, so useless.

A closet door handle was hanging off (all it would take is screwing in two screws), and there was an open socket in one of the lights. Front desk couldn't find a bulb, so I had to make sure the kids knew so as not to electrocute themselves reaching for a switch.

This seems to be the way of low-mid overnight road trip spots now. Bare minimum. It wasn't gross, it wasn't buggy, but there was nothing great.

This property was in serious need of attention. While some macro changes have been made, and cleanliness was, on the surface, acceptable, every item in my room was sticky. Saturday we had eggs, sausage, bagels, english muffins, toast, yogurt, waffles - the usual hotel breakfast. However, by 9am Sunday morning the breakfast options were slim. It's like they didn't bother to replenish anything. About the only thing that was left was a few pieces of bread, cold cereal, and oatmeal packets.

If you are traveling with kids, a room near the hotel entrance, bathrooms, and pool may be desirable, but it was rather annoying to us. We could hear kids screaming and running down the halls right up until 11pm when the pool closed.

You get what you paid for, at $95 a night it was okay, the bathroom needs work, the metal chairs in the pool area are rusted to the point the legs of the chairs are coming apart and a lot of cigarette buts on the ground just outside of the doors and the hallways smell like smoke.

As a new member of the Expedia app. I booked a King Suite, - online with Expedia, Three days prior to the night that I planned on staying at the American Inn, By wyndhamn.
I do not recommend this business to anyone, because of my past experience.
I honestly had a terrible experience here.
Immediately, when I was checking in, the receptionist told me that the room i reserved and booked three days prior was not available and i was then given a completley different room then i originally wanted and already paid for.
My room was dirty, there was a large yellow stain on the white, bedding closest to the window..
Bathroom was dirty. Toiletries we're not new, they were open.. and over half used/empty... yuckk
The front desk/ receptionist was very polite, the hottub and pool was relaxing.
Excellent breakfast in the morning!!!

This hotel was one of the most disgusting hotels I have ever stayed in. I arrived for my 3:00 check-in at 2:50 and was advised that there were no rooms available an to come back in a couple of hours because they had 40 people check out that morning and housekeeping was just getting started. I came back 3 hours later to be told my room was still not ready but they could give me a room on the first floor that had just finished being cleaned. When we walked into the room it smelled awful. The floors were filthy, mopped with dirty water. The carpets had not been vacuumed. There was dirt and trash on the table tops an couch. The bedding was stained. The bathroom ceiling was moldy and painted over and the vent cover had been removed exposing a dirty opening blowing dust and dirt everywhere. There was no ceiling in the closet. The bathtub and sink would not drain. People sat out in their cars all night and early morning outside the room with their music loud. This was one of the worst and most disgusting places I’ve ever stayed and it wasn’t cheap to stay for 3 nights. I am extremely disappointed.

My family loved this place when it was the Econolodge, but now it's a garbage dump. The stadium lighting outside is so bright, the shades over the windows don't help block out the daylight brightness that kept us up all night in two different rooms. The fire alarms kept going off. The staff openend all the windows in the pool area while there was a snowstorm and cold air was blowing in so fast it was a pneumonia den. The toilets back up. The room had an empty toilet paper roll when we checked in and the shower was completely out of conditioner. The breakfast was stale and we suspect that the hotel is overrun by illegal immigrants.

There really is no game room unless you count 2 pool tables and a dart board that just eats your money. The room was decent for what was paid - not exactly the cleanest I've ever experienced if you look at all the \"hard to reach\" places. No do not disturb signs and we were staying 2 nights so there was no need for cleaning but they went in our room while we were out and did anyway and threw things out that were not garbage - not appreciated. The smell is real and it will stay in your clothes/purses/jackets for weeks after - kind of a musty marijuana smell.
