This was our second stay in this hotel. The hotel is nice and clean, the staff is very helpful and nice. From check-in till check-out the stay was very nice. A special thanks to Meryem from housekeeping, and Meryem from the restaurant. They did their very best to make us and the kids feel at home. And a special thanks to Mohammed and his friends at the breakfast. The guys are very helpful and respectful. See you next time

Excellent location next to Palais de Congres. Restaurants onsite were excellent but no real options within walking distance if you’d like to eat out. Taxi to Guliez is reasonable and numerous, and there’s lots of options there. Likewise to Jemaa el-Fna square and other tourist sites. 10min to MAK airport

I was insulted by the pool staff. The supervisor was unapologetic. I raised this with front desk management and I was offered an apology. I am extremely disappointed and flabbergasted with the action of one particular accor hotel staff and his supervisor. Unfortunately I did not get their names but I did raise this with hotel management. There was no indication that they addressed the issue

Even though I am giving this resort a 5-star rating, you must read this carefully—because by American standards, this may not be your cup of tea. The resort itself is nice, but the service can be extremely poor unless you engage management directly—even for basic needs like fresh towels or a TV remote battery. Your experience will depend on your patience and willingness to escalate issues.

My recent stay at the Mövenpick Hotel Mansour Eddahbi Marrakech was initially very challenging, but ultimately redeemed by outstanding management.

I arrived with a Junior Suite booking and upgraded to a Luxury Suite, but the first room had a broken shower and an undesirable view. The second suite smelled strongly of cigarette smoke despite being non-smoking. After spending much of the evening changing rooms, I returned to a Junior Suite, which unfortunately had no window in the bedroom and poor ventilation since the AC was not operating, making it uncomfortably warm.

Housekeeping was highly disappointing. Multiple requests for basic items were repeatedly promised but never delivered, even after follow-ups—far below five-star expectations.

What made the difference was management. Mr. Lahcen, the supervisor, was attentive and resolved the situation by providing a significantly better room & quickly addressed the service issues.

Thanks to him, my experience was turned around. Without their intervention, this would have been a 1-star stay.

The room did not have any air conditioning. The rooms are all advertised as having air conditioning, therefore it is misleading. No alternative was provided and we were advised the hotel is not running the AC. With a small child this was a difficult stay in a hot room. I wouldn't recommend it.

The resort is fantastic. The pool is great also loved the food.

The staff is very inefficient so taking a star off. It was hard to talk to the concierge at time since no one spoke English and they would often default to “no”. They kept calling the wrong number from child care center when our kid was crying etc.

Kind of overhyped to be honest. If you've been to other 5 star hotels, this one pales in comparison. The free breakfast and chocolate hour are great but all other amenities felt way too expensive. The appearance outward was great but our room had a barely functional toilet. Also staff didn't seem as friendly or willing to help us as they did with caucasian clients. They were always helped faster and given more attention while every time I asked a question, they looked at me like I want to kill their dog or something. I also constantly got mismatched information from different staff and they generally just gave me the attitude that they did not want to help me, and always made me explain things several times.

Stayed for three nights in Marrakesh, before and after my adventures in Zagora. Each time I returned, the staff greeted me with a natural, honest kindness that made the place feel almost familiar. The restaurants, the bars, the peaceful pool, all pleasant. A quiet corner of calm in the middle of the city’s constant motion.

The property is well located. Walking distance to main amenities like shops and restaurants. However the hotel and its management are very very disorganised and unhelpful. Having booked a room with balcony, I have presented with a small room with at tiny terrace and NO AIRCONDTIONING. I reported the problem inly to be told that none of the rooms have air con...!! ~Then was presented with a larger room...agin with no air con. I did not sleep for 4 night as it was too hot and hotel management did not care! This is disgusting...I WOULD AVOID THIS HOTEL.

To start, the hotel itself was absolutely beautiful. However, the room I requested with a balcony faced a wall, I had no view. I went right back down to the front desk and asked if they could change my room, they asked if I could come down later as they were busy, I agreed. When I came back down later, they said we are still very busy and to come back tomorrow, which I did. At this point, they told me they were fully booked. I never stepped foot on the balcony. In addition, the twin bed had a folded topper under the sheet that kept sliding off, making the bed very uncomfortable., every night I had to rearrange the bed topper. I almost fell out of the bed at least twice. The front desk had at least 4 to 5 people behind the desk each time I went down, they were just standing around I asked were they in training they said yes.. There was always a long wait at the front desk.. I have never left a bad review, this hotel was undeserving of a good review. I would not recommend.

I booked the deluxe suite which is supposed to be the most luxurious suite. The hotel is beautiful. But the hotel decided to give me the last building in the hotel which my balcony view is a parking lot, a construction site and a street with loud cars and motorcycles passing by. I complained with management they said that, they don't have any other suite available, and MAYBE tomorrow will check if there's any availability for them to change my room with horrible view and loud car noises,
Well after this from all the electrical outlets, 1 only works, and one of the outlets messed up my girlfriends Dyson hair blower.
On the closet there's no hangers, so how are we supposed to hang the clothes?
We tried to order room service, we called lobby 4 times till someone answered and they gave me a number to order room service (with the attitude we really don't care)
After 6 attempts finally somebody answer, very hard to order because there is NO MENU believe it or not.
I would not recommend this hotel.

Awful service. The television remote is non existent, meaning the TV screen remains on always, even during the night. Wires hidden in the wall so I wasn't able to locate the on/off button.Despite asking many times, and even to management for the remote, they keep telling me how right I am and how they'll fix it immediately. Yet after 5nts it's still not sorted. Ridiculous service, absolutely appalled our sleep has been ruined because they cannot keep to their promises for such a simple issue. Worst management I've seen.

The movenpick was ok.
Beautiful communal grounds with subpar rooms. My room was advertised as a room with a garden view and ended up with a room facing the back of the adjoining hotel. (We checked in around 11 hoping for an early check in which unfortunately they were unable to provide… which i realize is a request and not the hotels obligation) After almost 24 hrs traveling we honestly just wanted to shower and relax so we didn’t ask for a room change).
The AC could have definitely been cooler and in room fridge never went above lukewarm. The pool was closed daily at sunset which was disappointing considering the summer weather in Marrakesh. Free breakfast, tea and chocolate hour were great. No entertainment or amenities provided. had to call down to room service or stop at the bar for ice which can be a huge inconvenience. They have a free gym but yoga is an add on.
Movenpick was in a good location. next to M ave. and Manera mall and just a short taxi ride from the Medina.
However with so many hotels in the area to chose from I dont think Movenpick is anything special.

Overpriced for what it is - would not stay again

The check-in took over an hour and we were dragged from one check-in place to another.
As I prepaid the hotel, I was lucky with quick check-out, my colleagues were waiting for ages.
The room was ok, even though the patio was probably the smallest I have seen.
In the bathroom I had sewage smells and once I flushed the toilet, the flush itself would get stuck and water then going with terrible sounds.
Breakfast was great, the only thing that I truly rate as excellent.
Other than that, for sure too high price for what it is. I stayed for two nights in Riyad in Medina some days before and it was a fantastic experience and much cheaper.

We stayed at the Mövenpick for our anniversary, hoping for a memorable experience, but unfortunately, it fell short in several key areas.

The positive side first: The kids club was excellent — our child loved it, and the staff there were fantastic. The pool area and general facilities were well-maintained and enjoyable.

However, the front desk and reception staff were neither respectful nor helpful. The customer service was poor throughout our stay. Despite mentioning that it was our anniversary, not even a small gesture like a flower or a sweet treat was offered, which was very disappointing for a supposed 5-star hotel.

We had also requested and paid for an upgraded room, but we were given a standard room with a view of the parking lot. This felt unfair and poorly handled.

As for the gym, it was located in the basement, very humid, and uncomfortable to use — far from the standards you’d expect from a luxury hotel.

Overall, while some amenities were nice, the lack of proper service and attention to guests makes this hotel feel more like a 3- or 4-star property at best — definitely not worthy of the 5-star label

Movenpick Marrakesh is really a very nice hotel: convenient, safe environment; clean, food is good; facilitirs are good. However this hotel seriously needs a seamless check-in and check-out procedure. Unbeleivably both processes takes more than 30mins for sure. Strongly suggest people to run this process well before their appointments or flight. I m travelling so much around the world; and never seen such a slow reception service. Many people so called running here and there but the queus never move forward. Be careful with this! Otherwise really a great hotel to stay.

Quite difficult to get in contact with anyone prior to arrival. The staff was cold but tried to help as much as possible (English isn’t a main language in Morocco) . Facilities were fantastic (3 restaurants and 3 outdoor pools) well maintained although the spa was under refurbishment with no prior notice so most services were unavailable. Plenty of options for breakfast, impossible not to find something you’d like to have. Overpriced menus, highly recommend looking around for places to eat which will provide more authenticity and value for quality. 10/10 for location and atmosphere.

Large luxury hotel with beautiful grounds and swimming pools. Outstanding breakfast buffet with everything you could possibly need and more.

The hotel is some distance from the Koutoubia mosque and the main square - about 30 mins brisk walk. There are plenty of taxis available nearby though.

One issue is that the reception desk was not properly operating on several occasions despite several desks but only two staff on duty. This caused some frustration and delay to some customers. Other than that, we thoroughly enjoyed what was on offer.

This is an awesome property! Agree with the 5 star rating. Good location. Staff friendly throughout always willing to assist. Room was big , clean, extremely comfortable, and modern. Great shower and bathroom. Pools were excellent. Breakfast was truly very good. Fresh fruit, juice, pastries, hot breakfast and good seating and service. Sami and Yassin looked after us at breakfast. As a Moroccan I did not appreciate how the staff insisted on speaking French or English with me dismissing me only speaking Arabic with them. I understand insisting on the languages with foreigners but I am a native arabic speaker and felt hostility when I spoke in comparison to my non Moroccan tourist friends who were with me. Would not come back.

Lovely staff and breakfast. No cold water in the shower and there was a crack in the bathroom doors which meant the floors kept getting wet. Do not recommend, will not be returning. Expected a lot more from a Movenpick hotel. Check in took ages because of long queues - something I've never experienced before. Toilet was broken, power sockets did not work. Asked for kettle to be replaced and was told someone is on their way but nobody arrived (and wasnt even offered a tea for the inconvenience). Music by the pool is too loud. Avoid.

Whilst the Property itself was beautiful, the staff were consistently rude and reluctant to help with general queries, suggestions or the most basic requests from Concierge. It seemed that we (Australians/English speaking) were treated differently to local guests or French-speaking tourists, despite our best efforts to speak broken Arabic-English. Our best way to describe it was that we were treated as “second class” compared to everyone else (and we’d just come off four weeks travelling Europe, where their service has a worse reputation). It was disheartening and disappointing, inevitably dampening our stay at the Hotel.

We loved staying at the hotel as it was so quiet. We slept well and forgot we were even in a big city. There are so many trees and green spaces with even rabbits, birds and peacocks that it feels we are in a little oasis. It was very well maintained. Breakfast options are great. Staff is very welcoming although sometimes the service is a bit slow. Best mint tea around. Easy to visit from here and be picked up for excursions. Very close to the airport. A great place to stay.

The staff at breakfast were very polite and ever helpful, especially the two ladies greeting guests and Narmada. I would, without doubt, recommend this hotel to my friends and will stay here in the future.

Very old hotel . We booked for 4 nights . After checking the room was hot the air condition not working. I took a shower the water all over the carpet in The room because there was no door for a shower. We wanted to live right away. And the worst thing happened, coming from the heat just arrived to Marrakech all I need is water I was dehydrated and I asked one of the manager for water she said go to the bar . I think this is unprofessional, all I needed water and she said go to the bar , is that what she means go pay for it ? I didn’t even know where was it I waiting in the lobby to checking-in…. Really disappointed for 5 star hotel .
But thanks to Oumaima Farnousse.she was arround whene I came to tell theme after checking that the water is all over the place. And no air condition, she just came to ask me what’s going on She tried her best to find other room with working air condition.

Incredibly polite and efficient hotel staff right across the board from reception, restaurants, pool staff, even security team had a smile for you. Breakfast was amazing, the rooms were extremely well maintained and clean, great location and will certainly return in the future

The room is fairly big with a nice view on the pool, food was great fresh and tasty including the breakfast buffet. The bar I would say mediocre in terms of variety and taste of cocktails, shisha was good. The reception and check in was easy but it took its time, check out very easy. The spa was amazing and good prices, Few little things, room service was slow for cleaning, fresh bottles of water you have to ask.

5 star hotel worth the stay

We enjoyed our stay at Movenpick it was worth the stay
The hotel / resort is very calming lots of beautiful trees all around the place
The team is one of the best and welcoming team we have ever met.. they added value to our stay .. very friendly with the kids and helpful

Easy access to most of the places
The avenues is just 10minutes walk with lots of resturant options and shops
The pools are all big specious the only negative was the water was soooo cold -no heaters
