I’ve been staying in this hotel for years. Love the location and breakfast. The service is usually very good, but during my recent stay I got a room without working heating. I spoke to the reception twice about the issue on two different days and despite being told the technical department would be notified and the issue would be fixed, it was not. Nothing was done. I finally asked for a different room which was accommodated. I would expect the hotel to address the issue more promptly.

I was most looking forward to staying in this hotel of the 10 different hotels during my 2 1/2 week trip through Germany & Poland. This hotel is in need of a renovation, it feels stale and reminds me of a mid tier hotel. Service was great and the bed was comfy just disappointed in the hotel feel overall. Hotel Indigo in Krakow at Wawel Castle was much nicer as was Hotel Altus Palace in Wrocław.

Had high hopes for the hotel due to the reviews and of course the higher price point… left a little underwhelmed as the room felt dark and dated, and for 2 nights the amenities (conditioner) was just empty..not miniatures but those mounted on the walls) so had to go without. There was no coffee machine but just instant (unbranded) coffee sachets…. Breakfast variety was just like any other 3/4 star hotels and was not exactly child friendly.
I do not think it’s worth paying extra to stay here. The only reason for the price is probably because of its central location. Stayed at the Radisson Collection back in June and had a much nicer experience. Will not be returning.

The hotel is huge, it was very busy the weekend we were there with conferences going on and so unfortunately we couldn't check in on time. The hotel was very accommodating and offered us a small upgrade to a room on a higher floor. Although they had to come in and put a roll away bed in. Buffet breakfast was super busy as was the spa, but overall staff were very attentive and helpful, the hotel's location is great and walk able to everything.

Superb hotel right in the centre of Warsaw.

We had a swift check-in (and we were early) and room was ready. Polite efficient reception staff.

Room was a good size, nice bathroom with full size bath and good power shower. All facilities were superb.

Bed was so comfy!

Breakfast was superb! Huge choices from hot selection, bacon, eggs, mushrooms, beans, hash browns, freshly made omelettes, continental, salad, ham, tomatoes, peppers, cottage cheese, cereals, porridge, fresh bread and rolls, fresh honey comb, yogurts, smoothies.

We also ate in the bar area, great menu and sensible prices, overall we would most definitely return to this fabulous Hotel.

This was my third time staying in Sofitel hotel. Unfortunately I have noticed some changes. Check in was very sloppy. I have to wait until almost 3 pm ( after my overnight flight from US) and they even forgot that I’m in the lobby waiting. Also huge difference during breakfast. Stuff was trying to be invisible. After finally catching somebody they bring me cold coffee. What have happened to all those nice college kids working in the past. I don’t know if I will be staying here in the future. Location is perfect but you have couple of other hotels…..

The hotel is really well positioned to explore central Warsaw and the old town. The room was comfortable and quiet although the mattress on the bed was too soft for my personal preference. The concierge staff were very helpful and full of suggestions about what to go see and do. We didn't try any of the hotel dining options as it was too easy to simply walk out and enjoy the many local cafes and restaurants. There were good transport links in the area, although we found it simplest and most convenient to use Uber to get around the city.

The Hotel and the facility’s are fantastic.
The only gripe I would have is getting a coffee from the one machine they had that generally didn’t work at all was not good. and one coffee machine for the amount of people eating there wasn’t sufficient at all. Staff were taking orders for coffee but it was always cold by the time you received it.
The selection for breakfast was good but the beans were cold every time.
We would stay there again in a heartbeat.
These are just little things that need to be rectified everything else was superb.

The hotel is advertised as a 5 star hotel. Location is great but the hotel has seen its better days and really needs someone update.
The AC fan was loud and not working properly. Our hot water bottle was leaking. Lights were flickering at times. Hand soap bottle was empty.
When we arrived, no one was at the front desk.
I mentioned these to the expedia survey and the manager didn’t respond at all.
I loved Warsaw but would rate this a 4 star or even 3 star hotel.
