Clean room with tea coffee facility. Bathroom with soaps toothbrush slippers, towels etc. Plenty of working lifts to avoid delays. Respond to queries very quickly. Great shopping centre and good court. Breakfast quality is a bit of a let down.

Everything needs to be improved. My room was supposed to be partial haram view but there was another building right in front of the window so no view. Room services were subpar. Great thing is its closeness to Al haram.

The staff wasn't very comfortable with the English language. I called room service, requesting for my food to be warmed up. Instead, they brought me a new plate of food (and charged me for it) and told me that they don't have the facility to warm up patrons' food.

Clean room but worn-out carpet.

Overall good but the communication with the chef making omelette was the issue, he was in a hurry and even after asking to cook the omelette properly he gave us half cooked omelette.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, I was unable to arrive on the originally scheduled date of my booking. I reached out to Hotels.com in an attempt to either cancel or reschedule my booking, but unfortunately, I did not receive a timely response. Additionally, it appears that no effort was made by Hotels.com to contact the hotel to update or modify my reservation accordingly.

I kindly request your assistance in reviewing this matter and seeing if any resolution can be offered, given the situation.

Never to book with hotel.com. They use agoda which is cheaper than rate their website and agoda give free cancellation. Hotels.com don’t

The only good thing is location, very close to the Haram.
Big time discrimination, they give us a room like grave, with dirty amenities, ripped blankets ,rude behavior.
After fighting till next day without sleep, they chane the room , and that was while new world ,nice window, clean amenities better quality blankets and well behaved house keeping staff.

This hotel is listed as a 5-star property on sites.they're trying to avoid reviews on those platform to keep it a 5 star. I initially booked through one of that platform but the hotel contacted me shortly after asking me to cancel and rebook through here.later discovered others had reported similar experiences as they avoiding reviews on those platform.

The main advantage of this hotel is its location. If staying near the Haram is your priority, it’s a decent option. The Safa Tower connects to the Clock Tower, and while you’ll need to change two elevators and use an escalator, the walk to the Haram is still fairly convenient. In fact, having stayed at the Fairmont before, I’d say this hotel might be slightly closer to the Haram entrance.

That said, service and accessibility were disappointing. You have to walk through a market and take escator to reach the entrance with no clear signage or staff to guide you.Taxis aren’t allowed to stop directly outside, so getting one can be a hassle often requiring a long wait for drivers to come from upper parking.
Check-in was also poor. The staff handed me the key without explaining anything or where my room,hotel facilities, or breakfast is,which was included in my booking. I had to ask for basic directions myself. For a hotel claiming to be 5-star, the service fell far short.
Overall, I’d rate this hotel as a 2 to 3-star property at best. It’s only worth considering

The decor is dated, the furniture belongs to 19th century used and battered the bed was awful, bathroom unfit for purpose. This hotel does not deserve 5* it’s 2 at the best. The only saviour is its location, other hotels available at better price.

\"I recently stayed at Al safwa royal archid and unfortunately, my experience did not meet my expectations. The room was not as clean as I had hoped, bed was not same as I booked. I booked city view they didn't provide it, and also the service was below par. Customer service was rude which is so unprofessional I hope the management can address these issues to improve the experience for future guests.\"

Good point was location and big beds. Had to change rooms due to leak. The new room given had ne shower door and flush was not working properly so had to change room again.

The hotel location is perfect from al-haram mosque however my quadrable room on the 10th floor was horrible.
First it was actually a double standard room with 2 extra beds. The facilities in the room was too limited with no view window. The bell man was far away from the hotel entrance downstairs which made me stolen by 2 bangals who told me that they belong to the hotel.
The food at the restaurants was the most awful thing anyone can ever experience. Starting from the horrible taste and ending by the lack of any variety. I guess this will be my first and last experience at this place.

The furniture is old, not enough towels in the toilet, no iron in the rooms, and room service is not responsive and super slow. You hear a lot of noise from nearby rooms and corridors

Useless room service with old rooms. Bed mattress was very hard and no one helps you. Avoid staying here. Road is always blocked infront of the hotel, you can’t get taxi and you have to drag your luggage all the until the road reopens.

The property seems not maintained properly. The amenities were not in good shape. Sliding glass door for the bath place was broken and missing. A/C was not functioning properly. And there is no internet. It never works. Just an average space.

On top of all not much of greeting attitude at the reception. I can literally count the number of words exchanged at the time of check-in and check-out.

The outside view is excellent regarding the mosque and the area around the mosque. But, unfortunately, the staff, manager and reception are very rude and aggressive. Though I paid a lot for this property, the manager still did not provide me with the amenities I sought. 80 percent of my amenities got missed with this property by the manager and staff with so much expensive price and the quality of stay that I received from them did not meet my expectation. Therefore, the standard of the hotel is very poor except for the city view which is also available in a few rooms (the manager charges extra for the city view even when booked online with Expedia). Besides, the hotel cost is too expensive in my opinion with limited amenities and no breakfast which seems to be unreasonable and not considerable at all on my end. And, of course, as mentioned above the management is very rude and does not provide the amenities which meet the guest satisfaction and that had happened to me in this case.

Location is super yet room was a disaster

Second time at this hotel for it's fantastic location just couple of meters from the Haram. The room however was so bad, small, dirty and not well maintained for sure.
