Booked a room with Kabaa view, but could only see minarats.
stayed 2 nights and had no lights in our room apart from in the bathroom. So we checked out on our last night in the evening and went to another hotel.
Feel bad for writing this because it was apart of our Umrah, but hopefully they can use this to become better. Because we did not feel any 5 star feeling there.

The room was not clean, specifically the carpet looked like it was never vacuumed. The pillow was very very soft it hurt my neck and I could not sleep, and when I called reception they sent someone from housekeeping with a medical pillow and I asked for two memory foam but he said we only have one medical pillow all other memory foam pillows are out of stock "because we have many guests", I called the reception again and they sent another person who came with the exact soft neck damaging pillow we had in our room and tried to convince me its the only pillow available, finally I called once more and they just ignored me. Talk about five stars service. On another point, the smell of the bathroom from the moment we came to the moment we left was extremely bad and when I told a person from housekeeping he just sprayed a very harsh smell to hide it and that caused my family to cough for hours and the smell came back within hours. This same person was also very strange and I didn't feel safe around him always lingering around us and that made me feel unsafe. Finally the breakfast and dinner menu is almost the same especially breakfast. For diner it's basically the same, everyday they cook so much chicken which I hate. The buffet staff are always unhappy and in breakfast the Indian guy at buffet doesn't speak English or arabic so I had to have a translator explain to him my omelette order. Below average service. Must invest in people and training them to hospitality excellence.

Address Jabal Omar is a new hotel, but unfortunately the customer service is very poor. Even after the drop-off by the Jabal Omar shuttle bus, the hotel is not within the Haram area, and you still have to walk about 10–12 minutes to reach the Masjid. This might be manageable for young people, but it is not convenient for elderly guests who really need to stay much closer.

Overall, the hotel feels quite far, the service is not good, and the food is very expensive. If you plan to dine in the hotel or have breakfast there, the prices are too high. Also, there are no nearby restaurants, so you don’t really have other options for food in the area.

Sky Musalla is a great place to pray, but it is very small compared to the number of guests staying in Towers 1 and 2. Because of this, the area gets full very quickly, and if you are even 15-20 minutes early before salah start time, it is often closed. This becomes very inconvenient for people who want to pray, especially during busy prayer times.

I would strongly suggest pilgrims avoid this hotel and instead book something closer, like near the Clock Tower. Please consider all the pros and cons carefully before booking this hotel.

Unfortunately, I realized this only after staying there, as it felt like their main priority was charging you even if you want to do an early checkout due to an emergency! Very Disappointing!

The hotel service needs lots of improvements. Pilgrimages are paying a lot of money but not getting the proper service. When I first went to my room, there was no shower gel and conditioner filled in the container. Most decent hotels around the world provides toothbrush and toothpaste in the room which this hotel didn’t include the in the room. Long wait for room service. WiFi was really bad, had poor connection all time. Called for room service because I needed a scissor to cut my hair. In Makkah it’s pretty obvious women need to cut hair after umrah which they do when they go back to the hotel. Which they didn’t have. In fact reception lady was pretty rude to me upon asking for it as if I asked for a gun or something. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel overall. There are better options closer to the Kaaba and less hilly easier access and better service.

We stayed at Address Jabal Omar Makkah for 14 days, alhamdulillah, and it was truly a beautiful experience for me and my partner. From start to finish, the service was exceptional and made our stay even more special.

A special thank you to the restaurant team. The manager, Suhan Shaikh, and the staff members Mohammed Asif Uddin and Mohammed Sameer were absolutely amazing with us. They really took care of us throughout our stay. My family has a gluten allergy, and they went above and beyond to accommodate her needs. They arranged gluten free bread for us and even provided separate spreads like Nutella to avoid any contamination. Every single day we were welcomed with warm smiles and genuine kindness. Their professionalism and thoughtfulness did not go unnoticed.

We would also like to thank our cleaner, Jahanghir Alam, who did a fantastic job. He was kind, humble, and always ready to help. He kept our room spotless and made sure we had everything we needed at all times.

Overall, our stay was comfortable, peaceful, and memorable. We are truly grateful for the outstanding hospitality and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Makkah (do note, it can be an issue for the elderly or any mobility issues as it’s a bit of a walk with stairs or a shuttle bus and again stairs/lifts to get to the haram but great for younger people). May Allah put barakah in all of their work, Ameen.

It started off as a great stay, but on day two, it turned horrible. My room was infested with bed bugs, and they started crawling on our bed at midnight. At that point, I contacted the front desk, waited, and no one came for over 30 minutes. Then, I made my way down, spoke with the receptionist, showed video and pics, and at that point, the manager on duty came out and apologized. He said to return to the room and pack the belongings, and someone will be there to move you to a new room. I went to the room, waited another hour, no one came, and I had to make another trip down to visit the front desk and had to wait further 20 mins for someone to come to my room to move me. This whole ordeal took 2.5 hrs, and I was advised that the manager will provide compensation for the night, but at check-out, no one was aware of it. They said to call later as the manager wasn’t there. It is strange that a 5-star property does not have a manager on duty. I left as I had to catch a flight. I have a case open with Expedia and am awaiting a contact from the manager, but I am extremely disappointed and will be using all media coverage to provide awareness as this is a completely horrible experience and customer service.

This hotel is brilliant as it’s new. Clean and fresh and the rooms are big. Breakfast was not as big as the other hotels but was kept well and clean. Hotel prayer room is excellent and has a fantastic view of the Kaaba. The hotel lobby is slightly confusing as there are two towers and trying to figure out where you are the the outset was irritating especially as you were exhausted by the Umrah. Downfall to this hotel is its quite far. Yes there is a shuttle service but the hotel is far compared to the others. However if you favour cleanliness to anything else I definitely recommend! I also think once the area surrounding and behind is built there will be a lot more options and easier options for food.

I recently stayed at Address Jabal Omar in Makkah, and it was truly an exceptional experience. As a regular visitor to Makkah, I can confidently say I have never experienced service of this level before. Every member of staff was attentive, professional, and genuinely committed to making the stay comfortable and seamless.

The convenience of this hotel really sets it apart. Compared to staying in the Clock Tower, Address Jabal Omar is far more practical—you don’t have to walk through a crowded mall or wait endlessly for lifts. Access to the Haram is smooth and stress-free, which makes a huge difference, especially during busy periods.

The dining experience was equally impressive. Breakfast was consistently fresh and well-prepared, and dinner was excellent, with high-quality food and great variety. The hotel amenities were very well maintained and added to the overall comfort of the stay. The sky prayer room was absolutely incredible and truly one of the highlights of the hotel, offering a peaceful and uplifting experience.

With outstanding service, excellent food, and unmatched convenience, Address Jabal Omar stands out as one of the best places I’ve stayed in Makkah. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting, especially those who value comfort, efficiency, and exceptional hospitality.

It’s the best place to stay in Makka, but that’s a pretty low bar. The check-in experience was not good - took a very long time and the staff was clearly stressed out. The room was fine but the soap containers were empty. Breakfast is a headache - long line for the egg station and very difficult to find seating. Overall I would stay here again but I just feel they can do better.

I had a four-day half-board booking, but on arrival the hotel claimed I was only booked for breakfast. Even after showing proof, I was left waiting 40 minutes and the manager refused to speak with me. The next day they admitted the mistake and added lunch and dinner, but the service was still disappointing.

The hotel has two towers: Tower 1, where all international guests stay, and Tower 2, where only local Arab guests stay. The difference in service was shocking. Tower 1 was overcrowded with only two staff, no tissues or cutlery on tables, and slow service. In Tower 2, every table had a dedicated waiter and the service was far better.

When I raised this with the manager, he acknowledged it but said “this is how it is.” For a five-star hotel, this unequal treatment is unacceptable. I would not return and cannot recommend this hotel to anyone.

Really beautiful decor throughout the hotel, genuinely feel like youre in a luxury hotel.
Its quite big and has 2 towers so if youre located in tower 1 it might feel long going from tower 2 to tower 1.
Breakfast is available on the 1st floor of whichever tower youre in. Breakfast was lovely with a decent variety, you can even get karak chai from the coffee machine!

The hotel conveniently has this beautiful walkway to get to the Haram with ease, it usually takes about 5 to 7 mins from the elevator to the Haram courtyard.

The hotel also has a prayer room on the 36th floor called the Sky Musallah which happens to be a guiness world record for the highest suspended prayer room. Youll get a beautiful view of Majid Al Haram and the Kaaba but bare in mind it does get full quickly and its open from fajr until 9pm.
