Brakfast is so good, lots of varieties, staff are super polite, kind and helpful. Room was clean, spacious with a nice view to The haram. Shuttle bus runs back and forth to the haram.

Had an amazing time at the Marriott Jabl Omar hotel. The best experience. No complaints. The hotel was very clean, staff were lovely. Location is great, Golf cart service is great.
Iftar, suhoor and the hotel also has massive prayer halls connected to the haram to be able to pray in jamah with the imam of the haram if some days you are not able to go to the haram, especially for people with disabilities or the elderly. Alhamdulillah can’t recommend this hotel enough. Thankyou for an amazing experience.

I had a fantastic experience at this hotel. The location is unbeatable—just a short, easy walk to the Holy Mosque, which made attending every prayer so convenient. What really set them apart was the free cart service. Even though the walk is short, having the cart available to zip you back and forth is a lifesaver, especially after a long day of Umrah or for elderly family members. Clean rooms, helpful staff, and top-tier service. I will definitely stay here again!

Nice, clean, spacious, comfortable rooms.

A short walking distance from the mosque. Regular shuttle service also available free of charge.

Breakfast had a varied selection to cater all. However a few additions that cater to the British/European palate would be a great improvement.

The hotel has buggies at the bust stop which is very good, my experience with the drivers of those buggies were a bit inconsistent some of them are very agitated and driving like it’s a video game while others showed excellent customer service.

When I arrived in the buggy with my massive piece of luggage I was met by an amazing gentleman managing the valet or the concierge as he quickly looked around to see if there are any bill boys in sight and there was none he helped with the luggage and instructed the buggy driver to take me in until he hands me to a bill boy

This was one of the quickest check in experience I ever had in Makkah! I usually expect long queues and wait time of checking in at any of the Haram area hotels but this was under 5 minutes

The bus to Al Haram is not worth the ride , the drop of is a 10 minutes walk from the closest door and an elevator ride down to the closest holy mosque gate so walking from the hotel and taking the buggy is a quicker option.

Tried the room service and the food was quick and very well made, potion was big and the room service delivery staff was very polite.
Overall experience was up to the Marriott standards which is great for a city like Makkah.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at the Jabal Omar Marriot. It’s a 5 min walk to the Harem when using the trolley or bus, breakfast was excellent, everyone was really nice and Ahad, our housekeeping ensured we had everything we needed in our room. Taxis were easily available outside. No complaints. Would stay again.

Overall, the experience was good. The beds and bathroom were clean. The carpet was a little old and stained. The service was amazing overall.
There were a few inaccuracies with the booking and the reality when it came to timing. For example the app said Checkout Time is 2:00pm and they had locked our room at 1:30pm. That was a little confusing. Compared to other hotels in the area, it was pretty good, though.

We stayed at this hotel while we performed our Umrah from 4th til 9th April. It is a lovely hotel: the rooms are spacious and clean, the service was efficient, the breakfast was delicious and plenty of different dishes to choose from. The buggy and shuttle service from and to the haram shareef are very convenient. The staff are friendly and very helpful especially Abu Tayab. He organised all our transport out: zayarats, Mecca to Medinah, Medinah to Mecca and then to Jedda airport. Abu Tayab even organised for us to use the hotel facilities on our return to Mecca from Medinah to perform our second Umrah. Jazaak Allah Khair for making our visit smooth and enjoyable.

A luxury 5 star hotel located close to the Haram. The only slight downside is that it is up a hill and takes a short walk to get to the Haram. However there is a regular and reliable golf cart service which takes you closer to the Haram extension. However, there is also a prayer room which is located on the third floor overlooking the Haram, where you can still be part of the congregation. Food choices are abundant and exquisite and staff are friendly and always on hand to help.

Great place to stay for Umrah, the shuttle service was very convenient to get to Haram. You can also walk if you want. The breakfast was really good. Highly recommended. The south asian food wasn't nicest at the breakfast but everything else was amazing. Loved the variety and options. Hotel staff was friendly, alert and always available.

The stay was pretty good. The lobby looks amazing and everything is clean. We had 4 rooms and one of them smelled pretty bad. We asked for a new room because it smelled like mold. Unfortunately, they were unable to provide us with a different room. Other than the smell, I would say 10/10.

As soon as you enter the property the Oud fragrance gives a welcoming atmosphere
The shuttle and golf cart service to the Haram was an added advantage but I wish they had an order for the people to make a line to get in to these as people forget their manners and cut in front of you
The prayer room was also a great advantage on those rainy days
The rooms were nice and clean with good view
We would like to give a shoutout to Shahidul our room attendant who always made sure our room was clean and stocked up with the necessities

We liked that there was shuttle and cart service but the shuttle was really slow. We had to wait 10-15 minutes each time where as other hotel shuttles was always coming on within 3-5 minutes interval. If you are providing a service please make sure that service is good cz there are other competitors.
One day we paid for 2 breakfast and the hassle we had to go through was really annoying. They were sending us back and forth between lounge and restaurant. After that experience we didn’t buy anymore breakfast from the hotel.

Amazing hotel in walking distance to the masjid

Really good hotel had a bus shuttle which drops you to a lift which takes you to the masjid and the hotel also provides golf carts to take you to the masjid which is especially useful after salah as there is a bit of hill to the hotel. Hotel was a 5 minute walk making it really close for coming back to and from the masjid. The staff and especially the housekeeping staff were amazing and extremely helpful would stay here again

The receptionist was not professional enough to handle our check in process. First she checked in us in a wrong room where my reservation was for triple beds and she put us in double bed room and when i called her she said they can provide a third roller bed and it will block the walkway. So I had to go back to the lobby to change the room. Also, I asked upon check in to change our dinner timing to have it in breakfast time instead and she didn’t do that where she put us in awkward position with the restaurant. Last bed cover we’re having blood stain and found the last day of our stay and housekeeping in hallways needs to be improved. Thanks.

The hotel was lovely and the staff did their best but we had multiple experiences with room service where our bathroom especially was not properly cleaned, left with water all around, and old towels were removed but not replaced.
