Had an issue with the fire alarm beeping which took a while to figure out. instead of offering a new room the lobby worker texted some guy who never answered, and we just sat there waiting until my husband finally went and asked for a new room. Not impressed during our Fall Break stay

Upon arrival with my family we were told upfront that the pool was waiting health inspection. Disheartening, considering that, that is an important purchase point with children. Had we known that it would be down until the last night of our four night stay we would have looked into a neighboring hotel. The staff were average and not truly welcoming. One member in particular that was over the breakfast hours was bluntly rude to my young nine year old daughter while we sat nearby in disbelief. The nozzle to the waffle batter dispenser popped off due to pressure build up in the machine. She walked over and stooped to her level and with a smile, actually told her that she was the reason the machine was broken and she didn’t have a nozzle to replace it thanks to her. She smiled again, cocked her head at my daughter and strutted off leaving my daughter shaken and confused. The fire alarm on our third floor was found to be faulty after the second sweep by firemen. The faulty alarm caused it to alarm in excess of six times throughout the day and into the late night constantly waking us up. No apologies or nothing and lack of sleep for everyone. After this experience we have decided to avoid Best Western hotels on future family trips after this ordeal.

Upon my arrival, the lobby reeked of marijuana. Upon entering the room it was noted that the ceiling was separating. Before bed, I paced a medication in the fridge that required refrigeration. Upon awakening it was noted that the fridge had not stayed closed and the expensive medication was ruined.
I feel that I was lied to by hotels.com as they have the hotel fantastic ratings, which made my decision to choose that hotel.

Lobby was fine but rest of property is old and tired in need of renovation. Poorly maintained and kind of icky. Beds seemed clean and were comfortable. Rough paint, dirty corners generally not the kind of place I would expect for the price. Won’t be back.

I’m not one to complain as stuff happens but this was absolutely terrible and we will never stay here ever again. There is no way the positive reviews are real. Our room was over 80 degrees when we checked in, the AC unit was covered in bugs and mold, mold was growing up the walls, holes in roof and walls, floodlights coming into windows and curtains would not close all the way, bathroom sink wasn’t mounted to countertop and didn’t work, towels were much smaller than even today’s usual low budget towels, staff let a guy setup an entire hookah right outside the front door and more. So unprofessional, unclean, unsafe and terrible all around.

Convenient location, right off the highway. Lots of restaurant and shopping in the area. close to commute to the Kentucky Horse Park.
Rooms were very clean and beds and pillows were super comfy. Appears to have recently been remodeled. Friendly staff and nice breakfast.
One downside was the homeless population in the area and a tent encampment across from the hotel in a wooded area.

I can honestly say; for the first time ever, There was nothing I didn't like about the hotel. The staff of Best Western Lexington Inn, hit the mark on guest service. I give 5 stars to the whole staff. The beds were wonderfully comfortable. Each day, I was greeted with a smile and how was your day. I loved staying there. Their breakfast wasn't half bad either. It’s a nice hotel. Slightly overpriced for the amenities but it was clean and quiet (during the week). Breakfast was good. Waffle maker, biscuits and gravy, eggs and sausage, and yogurt and some breads and stale cereal. It was plenty for me though and it all tasted good. The pool was out for maintenance, which sucked bc that’s part of why I picked the place, and the bathtub didn’t have a stopper so I couldn’t soak in the tub, which sucked worse. The room was nice and had the basics. Air conditioner worked great. Bed was a bit firm for me and my boyfriend but it wasn’t horrible. It skews close to everything which was great!

Nothing spectacular about the hotel. Rooms are a bit dated with very small bathrooms and vanity. Big issue with shower water pressure. On the very positive side were very efficient a/c and very comfortable bed. Hallways had odors of food that was cooked/heated in a room. Carpets throughout needed cleaning. The hotel and room was very clean and well kept, but our room had a strong odor of stale smoke when entering. After being in the room for a while the smell seemed to disappear as we became used to it. Staff was very friendly and breakfast was really delicious with variety of cereals, fresh yogurt and toppings, pancakes, eggs, biscuits with jelly butter and honey, sausage, and gravy. The lady in the dining area was extremely nice and kept everything wiped clean and filled with fresh foods. Wonderful stay if only no odor in the room!

Better pillows would be a plus and the bathroom was very, very tiny. In order to close the door you had to squeeze between the vanity and the toilet and I am small person.

Nice hotel for the price but needs some adjustment

Nice hotel, room was fine but the window unit did not keep our room comfortable at all. When we walked in it was turned off and hot. I turned it on and when we came back several hours later it was freezing. Overnight it got really stuffy and humid and we woke up several times in a sweat. The water from the sink smelled like sulphur and my daughter said she saw a gnat fly out of the sink drain twice. I let the front desk know about this at checkout. Breakfast was good and the brunette with glasses that was handling it was awesome!

Only complaint was parking. There are only two handicap parking spots. They are around the side of the building from the entrance, after the two EV charging spaces. It made for a long and difficult walk to the entrance. I would think they would give guests with disabilities greater consideration than EV drivers. Just my opinion.
