The room is not very clean, can tell is very old room, the hallway can see stain everywhere. Wait for check in and check out, I guess they probably short staff. Free breakfast is not exciting at all, very boring. Has a lot of potential but too bad lack of management and quality.

The fire dept said it wasnt the 1st time they had to talk to them about broken alarms. Nothing was shoveled. We had to tell them to clear the fire exits. The hallways were dirty. Not the nicest.

Breakfast bar was terrible- eggs were unedible, sausage was warm but tasteless, I tried one of the muffins and it was hard and unedible. Coffee was the best part of breakfast- although there did seem to be a good selection of cold cereal

We were placed in a room on the 4th floor… with no refrigerator. -_- I called down to the receptionist, who offered to put our things in the fridge downstairs. The 2nd night, a different receptionist offered to switch us to another room, but there was no point since we were leaving the following day. Some rooms on the 4th floor don’t have a fridge, but there are spots for them!

Check in was a breeze and the front desk attendant was very nice. Outside of that, the lobby was so hot, we were all sweating. Our room was cold, but dirty and covered in mold. The bathroom had a ring in the toilet, urine around the rim, and what looked like urine on the bathroom ceiling. There was mold around the bedroom window, on the a/c unit, in the ice bucket, and on the walls. The room stunk of mold so badly, that I had to step into the hall just to breathe.

Beds were comfortable and bedding and towels were fresh and clean. The physical property desperately needs updating, though. Carpets are threadbare in the hallways, the room doors look beaten up and our shower lever only worked partway. Our room smelled funny ... not a nasty odor, just odd ... guessing it was the HVAC? I'd be tempted to book again just for the lovely staff there (Savanna was especially helpful), but not sure that overcomes the downsides.

I've stayed at my fair share of hotels,resorts and motels over the years and every single one of them is just okay, but this one is a diamond in the rough for sure. From the young lady at the front dest to the breakfast attendant, cleaning ladies walking the halls all AMAZING. Also the staff member calming the young loud adults in The hall ways showing them where they could go stay up half the night without disturbing the sleeping guest. The pool was not what I was expecting at all it was so warm and inviting. The breakfast, I thought I was at a restaurant. You guys out do yourself with 24hr coffee, lemon H20 as well. This hotel is definitely worth your money and I will be back!! Thank you all for your your hard work?
